The best receiving core in NCAA football history. Juedy, Ruggs, DeVonta Smith, Jaylen Waddle and Jon Metchie. Also it’s crazy that this team was so talented that Jerome Ford had to transfer out and is now the #2 RB for the Browns. 10 of the offensive starters on this team would become NFL starters (minus 2 now cause Leatherwood/Ruggs) while 4 of the backups are NFL starters as well. (Metchie/Mac Jones/Brian Robinson Jr.) Will Reichard will be an NFL starter after this season as well. 4 season ending injuries to Reichard, Mack Wilson, Dylan Moses, and Tua killed us. Still a great season. Roll Tide!
Duke fan in basketball but a Die-Hard BAMA fan in Football, i do wish Duke football program will keep getting better and their fan base will grow because Wallace Wade Stadium is like a high school size stadium which is embarrassing. Guess Im used to 100,000 plus crowds at Bryant Denny Stadium. Clemson has a decent size stadium
Super happy with Tua's decision making and the defensive play. Obviously the team got off to a slow start but that's gonna happen when the enemy team isn't afraid of your running attack at all.
I think the running game problems were mainly because they were down to the third string back. The offensive line was the biggest concern for me. They lost several key players at that position so I was worried that might be a problem. They will mesh more as the season progresses and thankfully with the way the schedule breaks out, they should have ample time to get more comfortable.
It bothers me that the run game never could get any kind of consistency established against a vastly outmatched opponent like duke. All championship teams have great run games, and the lack of one is a big weakness. Will need to be able to run the ball a hell of a lot better in conference play against much tougher competition.
Well, it was 42-3 but Duke has a better athlete and program than they did when they matched in 2010. I think they had a little to do with it. I agree that it was a sloppy start for Bama.
I remember complaining about the interior to start the season like Dickerson. Well that completely changed after a year as we’d win the Joe Moore award. Leatherwood, Willis Jr, Dickerson and Evan Neal. Goddddd dang.
I hope you’re rooting for Bama basketball now. One of the top basketball programs in the country and have won 2 of the last 3 SEC championships (just like in football) regular season and tourney.
I agree. I think they have until October 12th to figure this stuff out. The first two SEC games - South Carolina and Ole Miss - shouldn't be much of a threat.
@@editnosmirc4489no they did not. Willis Jr, Dickerson, Evan Neal and Leatherwood. LSU o-line did not have that amount of talent. The difference was we were playing two freshman MLBs cause Mack Wilson and Dylan Moses both had season ending injuries before the season even started. Despite that the difference in the game was a Tua fumble… or a pick six before the half. We gifted them the game.
If he continues to play this well, he will win that Heisman; But that defense has got to play better! I hope he makes it to the championship game. ruclips.net/video/CwaPZHIn5NI/видео.html
Will Reichard's first collegiate attempt was a miss but he has since become the NCAA's all-time leading scorer.

Can anyone explain to me why was Najee Harris and Devonte Smith not in the early part of the game?

random but anyone notice 40 pushing down 11's helmet down on the opening kickoff?
What do you think of the tepid o-line and questionable run game in the first quarter? Just 1st game shakes?

Yes shift Dickerson to center when Brown is reinstated. The line will be complete then. Just in time for their first test at A&M.
I think the momentum was affected because the best running backs were on the sideline. Just a guess. We'll see.
Duke has a pretty good team this year just hard to show it against bama
I expect them to have another winning season. Tough out-of-conference schedule though with Bama and Notre Dame.
Bama Rewind yeah our non conference is rough
For Alabama playing Duke or anyone in the acc is an embarrassment of our time except for Clempson 😂😂😂
This is a different story in basketball Duke would crush Alabama in basketball that is until 2020

Alabama vs Duke
This was a weird game from because I'm a bama fan for football and a duke fan for basketball

There is weakness in this Alabama team...hopefully they can sort it out before SEC play comes in contact.
The secondary continues to be a problem, the offensive line, the kicking, and predictability issues.

@@BamaRewind I hope so. That Clemson lost should give them extra motivation.
Best receivers in the country.
Joseph Hebert Justin Jefferson, Jamarr Chase, and Terrace Marshall 🏆🏆🏆

LSU only had the better offensive line which was the difference when they played.
