There are MANY great christian rock bands out there, disciple is another amazing band. God spoke 2 me through pillar when i had been backsliding in my walk with God throughout most of the time i had been saved, I am truly greatful for them and others like them
This is my favorite Pillar song by far. The ending with those driving guitars and drums give me chills every time.
All of you none believers & haters are gona regret it when you stand before God. Also, you will never have true life til you surrender to him & he's more than life or than any of us can understand & be careful what you say because there are consequences for your sins & i hope you all will change your life before its too late.
To me, this is the perfect rock song. Amazing Solo, Tops and Downs ,perfect intro and outro.

Did you have a specific person or story in mind while writing "Angel in Disguise"?
Rob: A father from a church that Noah and I were going to was abusing both the kids and the mom. We found out about it and brought it to the surface. I just thought about that story and how she [the mom] was an angel for the kids and really saved them from any more pain and emotional torture. The first verse was inspired by that, and then I took that and made it into my own story.
jesus shined his light into the dark to show us the way to him. amen to the people that choose to believe in him. this band greatly contributes to that.=}
I'm kinda a "to-myself" writer, so I don't get a lot of feed back, but if you can make someone cry then your poetry sounds like it made its point.

Yeah... Poems are something I do when I'm sad or feel I need to do it. I have a notebook with some in it. I hate making people cry with what I write..it makes me apologize. lol
Christian bands/music are where we're allowed to preach on RUclips, so if you have a problem with it, that's your problem
It's at least one place on the internet where people should be able to post their religious beliefs and not get criticized for it

At first when I started writing the poems would be like paragraphs that ended in a rhyme, but now I'm a little more like a poet. I try to always rhyme. I like to write everything in groups of sonnets or groups of similar rhyme schemes. If I can't make a rhyme, then I forget it, but if I don't have space then I use that same rhyme later on.
I Have written many, and I am proud of a few. My Favorite Poem....um...If your talking about one I wrote, It would be one I wrote when I was sad. If its just one that is from anybody..I have no clue I like so many!

i listen to a song for different reasons sometimes it's the beat and sound and i hate the words and lyrics or i like the lyrics and sound but hate the beat I can say Pillar, Skillet, Newsboys, and Tobymac have good beats, lyrics, sound, and words I cant get into the rap, heavy metal, screamer, headbanger stuff dub step I am ok with but I am mostly a rock person 95% of me is rock and 2% is dub step the other 3% is stuff like music with out words like heart of courage evanescence is good to

@keymeana Not every band writes meaningless lyrics. I listen to many bands, religions and non-religions, that all have great meaningful lyrics.
We're both on the same page, different paragraph. I cannot write a poem if I am bored. I have to have the motivation... then I can write like a person in free fall(not orbital free fall :) )

lol Yeah. A few of mine were sad, and some funny. Others are on things that go on in my mind.
I don't ever think that I've written a poem that was funny, maybe starkly ironic, but that is the limit of it. I only got a few happy ones, a lot of not so happy ones, and some reflective ones. I like to write a little short story sometimes just in poetic form. What types of poetry do you write? (free verse, free verse without meter, rhyming, sonnets, or just stuff?)

Um, I usually have to be in a mood to write a poem. So to be honest, I don't think I have been able to write a poem unless it was laid on my heart to, or I'm just bored and need something to do. what about you?
