The fact that bands like Ghost are still making great 80's music that's more than just covers gives me hope for the future of music. The album art also has that strong 80's vibe to it. If there was a horror film with practical effects this should be in the sound track for it.
I believe it was supposed to be 60s but yeah it does sound like the 80s aswell!

When I saw this live and the guitar solo hit and that confetti started flying, I was choking back tears. Not sure why I reacted that way, but it was so beautiful and amazing.
Maybe because of the lyrics with the fact that it was the final song of the concert, but yeah, it was Amazing.
That's what happens when it touches you way down deep- in your soul. I cannot wait to see them and have the full Ghost experience in concert. It is CRAZY; I am 42 and just got turned on to this band now... talk about Mandela Effect! I have never heard anything about them; bo lore, music, anything at all!! So happy that I know them now. @Mondo Gamer have you seen the official music video? Or any of their other songs? Even the members themselves acknowledged the satanic cues throughout their music although according to them it's all tounge in cheek.
This song has one of the best guitar intros ever recorded. It's simple and powerful, in the same sense, as Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple. It's that good.

Been a fan of Ghost since about 2012, i feel Ghost is the most earth stopping, new to the world stage, greatest talent ever, since Nirvana, and the mastermind, the genius, the brilliant mind behind it all is none other than Tobias Forge himself, of himself, and by himself. Rock on Ghost and bring in the new world order of rock and roll.
There are many different songs that speak to you in different ways. Some are only tolerated every once in a while. Others are played a lot, then become overplayed. And then there are those gems that never get old, no matter how many times you listen to it. This song is one of those gems.

Blue Oyster Cult was notorious for their heavy keyboards mixed with hauntingly beautiful melodies. Check out Joan Crawford and Dancin' In the Ruins for starters and go from there. You will see the similarities.

Well it's a song about celebrating the last moments of life before dying. It's called Dance Macabre. It SOUNDS like a romantic song, but the lyrics are completely different.
This song is what happens when you love ABBA and death metal.

Can we please give the uploader a break? Be nice. There are quite a few challenges to posting Ghost lyrics:
1 - the frontman is Swedish, and although he's fluent in English, he sometimes says things in a way that sounds a bit weird to a native English speaker
2 - Ghost uses lots of puns, double entendre and other bits of wordplay in order to always maintain that faux demonic gimmick they have going on; in other words, the lyrics are often INTENDED to sound ambiguous and have the listener questioning if the "correct words" are innocent or something more sinister
