Thank you and Enjoy.
thanks
Thank you. I love seeing the other sides perspective.
Sad ending
The Turkish were very honourable enemies, Australians never forget. Thankfully we are no longer enemies.
♥️
❤❤❤❤
We never were in the first place
"Gentleman's war."
I wish these beautiful people had not fought. We know that the circumstances required it that day, we are very sorry for that. Anzacs were honorable soldiers. We have never fought with such honorable soldiers in history. The battle suddenly stopped and everyone collected each other's corpses. Anzacs trusted the Turks, the Turks trusted the Anzacs.
For the first time in history, two enemy countries became great friends 10 years after the war.
Every year when I go to Gallipoli, I pray for both Turkish soldiers and Anzac soldiers. One day, when the Anzacs come, I want to go and talk to them, I want to know what they feel. peace bro.
As an Australian long live the words of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk
Those heroes that shed their blood and lost their lives... you are now lying in the soil of a friendly country. Therefore, rest in peace. There is no difference between the Johnnies and the Mehmets to us where they lie side by side here in this country of ours... You the mothers who sent their sons from far away countries wipe away your tears. Your sons are now lying in our bosom and are in peace. After having lost their lives on this land they have become our sons as well
Rip our grand fathers without there fight we would know the peace between our beautiful nations
Long live the Turks ❤❤
We Turks have fought for hundreds of years. We have never had an enemy with as much respect as the Anzacs. Greetings from Türkiye.
Respect and Love from New Zealand to Turkey
🇳🇿🇳🇿❤️🇹🇷🇹🇷
Never war again mate, loves from Turkey
we were not enemy brother , we just defended our nation and our lands ..we will not be enemy... we love you brother ❤🇹🇷
Our soldiers sleeping together ❤
We will never be enemies
hopefully
Thank you to todays people from Turkey who take great care of our ANZAC ancestors who lie peacefully forever with their "enemy".
And thank you for showing respect even if our people once faced the other in war, love from us Türks
With their "enemy"? I think the Anzac soldiers were never the enemies, but more like victims of political games that they were being lied to about us at that time.
@@savageturk569 He used quotation marks as a way of saying what you said basically...
Bro, Ataturk personally witnessed that war closely and said, Anzacs are truly honorable and honorable people.
Even during the war, they did not lose their humanity and obeyed all the rules of war. Anzac people are honorable and dignified people. That's why we have endless respect for them. I wish we hadn't fought, but that's how history progressed.
Peace!
Australians loves and respect Turkey,
i love australia 😍 from turkey
We also love australia, Great country would love to visit one day, greetings from turkey, Rest in peace for your Anzac soldiers who have died in Gallipoli in 1915 🇦🇺🇹🇷
@@McKardes my from turkey 🇹🇷🇹🇷 thanks bro GALLİPOLİ gentlemen's war 😔
the british empire basicly forced them to do it
in reality no turks and anzacs ever wanted to fight each other
What about cronulla riots mate
Your fallen soldiers are lying in peace under our land. We respect you. Love from Turkey
Thank you for taking care of them.
@@goodshipkaraboudjan Like Ataturk said. "Dont be upset, the mothers who sent their children from a far country. They gave their lives in our land and became our sons as well." Be safe mate.
Well at least you didn’t kill both of my great great great uncles
Sorry but he was a machine gunner which kills a lot of people sorry from a aussie

War of the gentlemans... Love Australia from Turkey
Respect to all the Ottoman soldiers. As an Aussie I feel for them more as they were defending their nation against invasion.
Janissary love BROTHER💪

They got defeated meaning there's no ottomans
U are our siblings and they are sleeping together in turkey s land.❤
well....there were greeks living in that part and they were ethnically cleansed while all this was going on....
Yes my Turkish friend they thought the same way you did, many years later we still do so much so that your death scene in movies upsets us just as much as our own boys......
Sizleri çiçeklerle karşılamak isterdik fakat siz silahlarla geldiniz. Evimizi korumak zorundaydık!
We understand that. We hold no grudges and we deeply appreciate the words from Kamal Ataturk in the letter that he wrote to our widows.
We left your shores with respect and not hated, because your soldiers fought fairly and bravely.
It’s been regarded (and taught) as being the last gentlemanly fought war. An honourable on both sides.
And that respect for Türkiye still remains.
@@mareky1234nobody cares that what you understand , independence is what matter most. You were just someonelse's free manpower. You did what you been tolded. Dont act like you are the interlocutor about war. It looks funny.
I think this is why Australian's and Kiwi's respect the Turks so much. Our histories in Gallipoli are all very similar. None of us wanted to be there and all of us developed a legacy there. Why the 'enemy' embraces our lost ones in the way they did, they aren't our real enemy. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk even now is regarded so highly by Australians that he has a place in the Australian War Museum. Lead the side that we fought against but I don't think he ever really hated Australians and Kiwi's. It was if he understood the predicament our country and men were put in.
HE WROTE A LETTER TO ANZAC MOTHERS..SAYING YOU WHO SENT YOUR SONS FROM FAR AWAY COUNTRIES WIPE AWAY YOUR TIERS YOUR SONS HAVING LOST THEIR LIVES HERE IN THIS COUNTRY OF OURS HAVE BECOME OUR SONS AS WELL M.K.ATATURK.....
@@peacemaker2988 you have it carved in stone at Anzac cove .. it’s beautiful thank you
aussies were thinkin that we are eatin human meat prisoners refuse to eat because of that this is only one of the english lie. You got your independence? yes! you thrust the queen anymore? no! do u thrust english anymore? slightly.. or no! its enough for us my friend :)
rest in peace all of you soldiers
When I was in Primary School back in the early 70’s. My old teacher (who was old enough to have been personally affected by loss of a Father or Uncle), strongly stressed in No Uncertain Terms, that the Turks were extremely honourable.
He made a point of driving this home, he was adamant that we understood that the Anzacs did not Hate their Turkish foes, but grew to respect them.
I’ve seen photos and videos of the statue that shows the Turkish soldier carrying a wounded digger back to the Allies lines.
We also have a famous hero (with statues of him everywhere).
The Man with the Donkey.
Both sides have statues over heroes of their own, who saved lives rather than taking them.
Here in Australia, we even have a memorial to Kemal Ataturk that faces our National War Memorial in Canberra (our capital). The only leader of a former Enemy, to ever be so honoured.
All of this is a testament to just how uniquely we Anzacs view people of Türkiye, both them and now.
To finish of. Here is a video (made for school children) with a unique Turkish/Australian twist.
The letters home from the front, that get read out, shows how the actual diggers felt during the conflict too.
It’s actually quite an uplifting video and I hope our Turkish mates can see it and understand it.

Türkiye’den sevgilerimizle 🇹🇷🇦🇺❤️
:( It was very bad and disrespectful that the British state deceived Australians with statements such as "Turks are eating human flesh, they are barbarians, we will fight for the queen." But Australians saw the truth and we love them and remember them with respect. :) TRAU / 🇦🇺🇹🇷
we are deff not barbarian okay!!!
thats how eu thinks no one knows a thing about us
@@mr.nonsense1015 where are u from?
Thank you I was told Turkish killed the Anzac wounded
@@Bally0207 What??? lie! we Turks even help our enemy. During the war, Turks provided food and medicine to their enemies and they did so because they knew that their enemies were forced to fight. we were friends with the Anzacs. we both had to fight.
I would like to say something humorous here, my dear Australian and New Zealand friends, if you come to our country as tourists and not as occupation soldiers, if you come with scheduled planes and not with landing ships, if you come with suitcases and not with guns, and if you do not do all this travel at the request of our long-legged friends, I assure you that you will be welcomed much more tolerant and hospitable than it looks in this video, love from Turkey to all Australia and New Zealand!
Many kiwis never came back. But a Turkish man with a kind heart returned a man home from the strife of war. Lest we forget the men that fought on all sides.
There's no hate between each other but with the big leaders it was a different story
Unless a nation’s life faces peril, war is murder.
Mustafa Kemal Atatürk
Gentlemen's war respect from Türkiye.
There are good and decent men on all sides in war, unfortunately they are the one's that do most of the dying!
Respect for a good reason
Sizi yollayanlarin atesi bol oldun kaderdaslarimiz
Turks who went to Gallipoli also prayed for Anzac soldiers through their own religion. Your ancestors were honorable and honorable people. We will always protect them in our history.
Islam urges to preserve life as much as possible, especially in warfare.
This is a true warrior of Islam, not the terrorists.
Bunun İslam ile alakası yok geri zekalı. Araplar ile Türkler savaştığında böyle bir sahne yaşandı mı hiç? HAYIR! Bu Türk karakteridir, İslam ile hiçbir alakası yok.
Well said
It has nothing to do with Islam. We Turks fight honorably. It was the same when we were not Muslims.

I hate war. The last gentelmens war :(
Lesson learnt, never assume your enemies won't shoot you.
You’re missing the point of the event.
The Turkish soldier never saw the ANZAC’s as ‘enemies’ in the first place.
@@seriesmovies4195 yeah I know, he understood that they had to fight just like he did. It's tragic.
Bro at Gallipoli there was a turk that would routinely go out to no mans land to collect the dead of both sides like in this vid the anzacs would throw there cans of bully beef to him but one day a new battalion replaced them and forgot to mention not to fire on him and he was shot war gets confusing and mistakes happen

We turks have mercy but this soldier hit the soldier named mustafa we understand hes not have a little bit mercy(im saying this who shoot him)
A Turk and an Aussie fight a war because some Austrian prince got assassinated
What's the story behind this video. And the name of the statue.
Although the Turks and the Anzacs had no problems with each other, the Anzacs, who were under British rule, fought the Turks. It is known as the Battle of Canakkale and the events that took place in that war.
Guys you were just someone else's free man power. Dont act like you were side of the ww1.i hope brits reward you well for the people you lost for reward. They knew what war means , you dont.
