Because what you have said at the graves of our sons could only be said by their own fathers. In the name of all mothers, our respects to the Great Ata who embraced our children with the love of a father.” That's why, when we go to Gallipoli, we also pray for the Anzac soldiers who died. The last time we went, I prayed for both Turkish soldiers and Anzac soldiers. This was the greatest gentlemen's war the world has ever seen. We Turks call this war the Battle of Çanakkale, but we also call it the "Gentlemen's War".
