@@IAMLXGEND I honestly don't remember how I ever mixed without them tbh, I mean aside from genelecs, def prefer them to most speakers. Especially for catching subtle clicks, pops and other audio deficiencies.

why is it better to use the stereo option of a plugin?
Because you listen to music in stereo. Not mono. Mono makes the sound one dimensional. So spreaders and such won’t sound the same.
explanation was 10/10. I have a question though, my voice is kinda raspy but quiet. should i turn the gain down and the volume up or what, kinda stuck on it when i mix

Turn the gain up and the volume down if you have a quiet voice. Practice with a few recordings at whatever your full volume is though after you’ve set them both. If the audio is going into the red, turn the gain down. Until it doesn’t as you’re still singing that part at the same level as before.
You need a aux track first to make the vocal rider really work. The green light in the corner will come on. It's working
I’ve never used an aux track. If that is another way to do it, that’s good. But I’m just showing how I do things.

what are bust channels?
No idea what a “bust” channel is.
But a “bus” channel is an effects channel just like the one I use here to apply effects only those effects apply to more than one vocal.

Air pod pros are pretty high quality you really think it fucks up the mixing process ?
Do not mix on airpod pros. For 1, they are earphones. Not headphones. Which doesn’t give you the full sound you need to mix. For 2, they are made for listening. Not advance audio processing. So yes, it would fuck up the mixing process and only prolong it for you. They don’t have a flat sound, which is what you need.
