Andrea is absolutely right! The bathroom setup and lack of a dining arrangement suck. There is nowhere to eat, or work.

DRV is mostly custom, they offer a dining option, but it's also a toy hauler and has the dining table in the very back just for anyone that might be unaware.

Love how open this toy hauler feels, I would have (little) passed the 1/2 bath since it's for guest and kids.
Love the layout the living room area with electric fireplace.
I love the 5th wheel units that split the front storage into separate compartments instead of 1 huge one. The rest of the outside storage is set-up well too.

  • @atlryanroberts

I guess I'm one of the people that like the bathroom layout. The fact it is passthrough creates a lot more room.

Great review! I was starting to warm up to towables, but I'm very disappointed in the LX455 and am starting to slide back to the Class A. Three things I don't like: 1. All that space and nowhere to enjoy a meal. 2. Bathroom and toilet layout in the MB area needs lots of improvement. 3. Lack of basement storage and height of interior storage.

Forget Toy Hauling, use this for Tail Gating especially with that TV. Yes, the elongated potty is perfect. Remember, everything is bigger in Texas. Andrea, you look stunning in this video.

If I had that, I would definitely put one of those hook-type locks on the pocket door that's between the main bathroom and the living room. I agree though that I'd much rather the bathroom be in the back since it has the half bathroom in the garage. And I would prefer a lighter color wood and the backsplash behind the stove? Great design but I'd prefer the sky to be blue.
    Still a beautiful machine!

Matt you are 100% right on needing something larger than a one ton. It’s not tow that will get you, it’s stopping. These rigs are just a dream rig but man they are heavy heavy heavy.

Firs - Matt, Matt, Matt!!! What are the ramp / patio weight limitations? Fill in these blanks on these please!!! Second - I'm afraid I can't see MSRP in this one. Not even sure I see any discount price they would want as being worth the expenditure. It seems to me they need to be building these with enough quality so there isn't so much loss on the depreciation end of the deal. Spend $200+ K today, and be left with $50k or even less in 10 years assuming reasonable maintaining of the trailer looks like a very bad trade-off to me. And I love trailering!!

very cool, agree with andrea on dislikes of shower location, and no tables for couch, but can always buy a couple fold up tables for that, will want them for outside or in garage anyway, 2 or 3 of those would cover all table needs everywhere, and stow away rather small (i have 2 that legs fold, then table folds in half itself, comes out to be the size of basically a larger painting, easy to carry, easy to store.... almost fit in that outside storage, real close, or just toss them up in that drop down bed and send it back up if dont need them. . cargo capacity, you could almost put a jeep wrangler in the back, would be close there too. that would be awsome if would fit lol. looks like 2 razers or up to 4 4 wheelers fit in there depending on their sizes, razers may have to be only 2 seaters not 4. msrp without discounts as it sits 249, seems to be a decent price for all you are getting here, this is a beast, and very well built beast. me personally shower location not bother me at all, rather it be different, but not a deal breaker by any means since i am single and at most would have a buddy or two sleeping at the other end in the garage, all the guests can just use that bathroom, washer dryer excellent, in something this size, it would be kinda nice to see a small shower in that 2nd bathroom, nothing big, not will tested and approved, just something the guests or atv riders can shower in real quick when done... not likely anyone will be trying to shave legs in there. again not a deal breaker, but you may end up with a line of people at main shower blocking your bedroom access (and possibly going in there snooping) when done riding for the day, especially if going to go out somewhere that evening. and if all family or close trusted friends, now you have 2 showers, everyone get done twice as fast, 2 at a time instead of just one after the other for the next hour. this is the kind of thing i would totally just move into and live in.... get 450 or 550 to haul it around, put a jeep wrangler or even just 2 door version in back for getting around the areas you park in, 4x4, go to town for supplies... go to work if need be, etc. with 2 door jeep probably still have room for one other smaller toy, 4 wheeler, motorcycle, jet ski or something. save you the trouble of having to hook up and unhook truck every time you wanted to go to town or move the trailer, just leave everything hooked up, pop out the jeep and go. between trailer truck and jeep probably 450k setup.... but awsome if you got the money for it.

First thing, welcome to Texas y’all. You’re talking about the shower, our guest would have to get their shower first, then that part of the fifth wheel would be off limits, but for that price storage could be more, also the main bathroom could be laid out better. As far as the tow vehicle, a F450 or bigger would be necessary to tow it. 👍👍the video

Love the fifty amp on elec reel. Love the slide side is painted TRU FBP (full body paint). So love the kitchen backsplash. Love the extra cabinet space above the washer dryer area I can put my detergent extra, extra vinegar (cause I disinfect my laundry with vinegar) , and my extra dryer sheets that I buy. ((But don’t like it too -look it dislikes)) love that sneaky skinny storage on side of fridge lol. Live the shower size and tile. Live the pocket 🚪 🚪. Always nice to have behind tv storage.
Funny. They have step up and my dream Salem villa has step down 😆
I’d the closet cedar lined? I remember one of the tours with a rep -no name remembered sorry rep- had a cedar lined walk in ish closet.
    Dislikes
No to the side ladder. Just no. Where’s the damn outer storage lol. Like wow. Don’t like but do like the tall cabinetry above the washer dryer area I’m Y’all height. Now I need to add in a step ladder 🪜 lol. And I’m afraid of heights. Like the serious catch 22 dub edge sword ⚔️🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏿‍♀️🤦🏿‍♀️🤣🤣!!!
    No table for eating!!!😱😱😱
Lol called the full house 🏠 lol. Loving Andrea in towables **Pauly Shire voice**

Hey Matt and Andrea - My husband and I have been looking at tow haulers both fifth wheel and motorhomes - the issue we are having is the max cargo weight that the garage can hold. Most of the ones we look at max out at 1,500 pounds, we have been trying to find one that can hold 2,000 pounds - It would be nice if in your videos when you have a tow hauler if you would mention the max cargo for the garage area. Thanks.

  • @86rustbucket

Great review as always. Just a quick point of reference, most configurations of the F350 are actually more capable from a towing and payload standpoint as the F450 as they are both rated at 14,000 lb GVWR and the F350 has a lower curb weight, meaning more payload, which this DRV will definitely use most of for sure. The F450 brings the benefit of the wider front axle for a reduced turning radius. I think the only F450 configuration that will have higher numbers than the F350 is the regular cab with the 45,300 GCWR option.

I'm sorry but Im not like this for the price! No power, heated and massage seats. Don't really like the bathroom layout. No storage around the TV. No full length tie downs like the valors have, the weight seems like a lot..I get its more luxurious but my 45 ft voltage is 4k less. Don't like the w/d right by the door. Should be a coat and shoe closet. The rear bathroom is tiny. No cup holders in the back couches. No lift. The water capacity is only 100 gallons. The freaking leveling panel is exposed outside so someone can level it and even steal the thing. No coffee bar area. I do like the back splash and paint. I like the valor, voltage, momentum and raptors better.

It's a towable party bus and not much of a toy hauler. At this price point it should have a air compressor with inside & outside QDs. All of the accent lighting looks 6k but the regular facon ceiling fixtures are 4k and look out of place. It's ridiculous that somebody isn't making 5-6k ceiling fixtures by now.
