    As a native Virginian I’m interested in supporting the locals. On my third season with my current pair of breathable waders but the are starting to leak where the boot meets the wader material. The early season I smeared some shoe goo on the inside of the seam which appears to be working for now...
    I like the idea of Kevlar on the front of the leg. I would like to see some of the same material on the butt area to provide extra projection against wear when sliding on crappy boat and blinds seats as well as the occasional schooching down the river bank or beaver dams on my rump..Hopefully the boot rubber is flexible too for those longs walks in so it doesn’t rub the meat off your shins.

    • @HokeOutdoors
      @HokeOutdoors  4 года назад +1

      I will pass on that idea about the Kevlar on the rear. That has definitely been the #2 area where I've torn my waders in the past. I've really like the boots on these, they have more real rubber than other companies use so they're flexible and comfortable.

      @HokeOutdoors  4 года назад +1

      Thanks man! It was a cool time chasing them. Definitely different than anything I've done before. How's the bird numbers shaping up out that way so far? Starting to see more and more migrators here east

    • @AmericanArmsChannel
      @AmericanArmsChannel 4 года назад

      @@HokeOutdoors I am seeing relatively stable numbers, but more congregation in medium to larger groups. If we have new birds, I am unaware of them. The New is still up right now from the rain we got this past week, so most birds have moved to parks or onto calm sections of reservoirs and tributaries. The November segments will be solid this year, but nothing to write home about unless we get the northern weather to push birds down everywhere.
      Nebraska on the other hand is in the good ‘ol days right now and hopefully that will hold until I get back out there around the 21st of November. Late Segment of season will be the big winner this time around on the east coast as the weather we should be getting in the northern states by then should keep the birds headed south. I’m optimistic though...

      @HokeOutdoors  4 года назад +1

    I just went out for rail for the first time this season. It's different here in Missouri, basically like going out for upland birds, walking a marsh with the dog. Shot a bunch of sora and definitely needed the dog in the early season smartgrass. I grilled mine whole and thought they tasted very close to dark meat from a free-ranging chicken. Definitely will go again.

    Is the Fishing Bay or Taylor's Island/Slaughter Creek area of the Maryland's Eastern Shore viable locations to hunt?
