Abandoned: Staples - North Charleston, SC

What's good, everyone?! Today's video features a look at an abandoned Staples location in North Charleston, SC. This location closed sometime in early 2024, thought I was unable to find out why. The building appears to be kept in good condition, and it may be getting re-purposed in the near future. In several attempts to film this building, I was met with electricians and construction workers who were inside doing work on the building. There were also some people holding what appeared to. be building permits. I am unsure what the future holds for this place, but for right now, it is vacant.

That permit might be for something simple like removal of any walls. I believe in commercial spaces, they need a demo permit even for stuff like that. Good vid as always! You’re getting very comfortable on cam and joking around like we are there with you! 🎉🎉🎉

That permit does appear to indicate demolition. Had to look in Charleston County to find any permits at this address, so it must be outside city limits... Didn't find current permits though, only stuff from the last decade before 2020.
