Your fuel lines are run on the wrong side. It should also have an inline fuel filter. That is hard lined. It is located in the tractor's frame rail, Petal side.

My old 445 is giving me fits. Rear end leaks (probably the dif lock seal, the leaking steering valve (looks like a H of a job), the power steering cylinder leaking (non-repairable and a h of a price), the cam gear stripped and its running like s.. on return from the dealer after $2K repair. 😒

That steering system could have used some better engineering, sorry for your pain and misfortune hope you can find a remedy or repair

I gotta fix my steering gear or something as well. I have a lot of play in my steering and the cylinder leaks. I was hoping you have pulled the steering pump so I could see best way to take it off. no luck. My ocd would never allow me to put that back together without power washing it all up underneath lol.

If the o rings wouldn't have fixed it I was gonna drop it and rebuild it....it looks like after the lines are removed and the steering shaft is removed it would come right out...I recommend jacking it up pretty high if attempting from underneath, more room would've been nice. Hope you get it sorted out!

Going to have to do this to my 445 before spring mowing ! ☹I need to replace leaking rear end seals & steering. Just like yours. But I'm going to try to access the steering from the top. Which may require taking out the radiator. Thanks for posting. There are not a lot of videos on these Tractors.

I hope that steering valve goes smoothly for you, it was a pain in the rear end and the lines go directly under the radiator support. Definitely not my favorite job
