- Lake Arrowhead is an unincorporated community and a census-designated place (CDP) in the San Bernardino Mountains of San Bernardino County, California, surrounded by the San Bernardino National Forest, and surrounding the Lake Arrowhead Reservoir. It is located in the Inland Empire region of Southern California, about 20-30 minutes north of San Bernardino.
While Lake Arrowhead has no official town center, the Lake Arrowhead Village serves as the main commercial area for both locals and tourists and includes a number of factory outlets, boutiques, restaurants, two banks, post office and a supermarket.

After hockey practice my mom would take me to the Waffle Works after.

Hello .. I live in a town called Running Springs, California it is about 15 minutes away from Lake Arrowhead. I like all 2 of your videos that you did up here in the San Bernardino mountains. . A lot has changed in the lake Arrowhead village.. I work at the lake Arrowhead resort and spa. . My family and I go to Big Bear also . Thank you for sharing your video. I will share it as well.. much respect.. if you ever get a chance to come back up here you should do a video on Keller's peak or strawberries peak which is two of the three fire lookout towers.. there is also Butler's peak

If you go in the summer all the coyotes come out to the lake. You can pet and feed them.

Yes
We certainly have snow in the mountains and the high desert. Lake arrowhead is a small mountain town in Southern California.
Yes. The winter lasts from the end of October to March- May.
The winters along the rim of the mountain at 5750 ft are comparable to that of South West Michigan.
I’ve lived 20 years in S Michigan and 20 years , 750 ft above this lake in Sky Forest.
A boat tour around the lake is awesome. - Best tourist activity. People love to trash the mountain when they come up during winter months, destroying our natural places. They clean out their cars of broken plastic sleds, trash, forgotten clothing, food and wrappers, car parts, alcohol bottles, soda cans, used diapers, and leave these things behind in shockingly large amounts year round, at places like Switzer park. To these people, .... never mind. I just wouldn’t want YOUR KARMA!!!
The southern California mountains are amazing as is the wildlife, and ecosystems mankind invades and destroys.
Please enjoy the beauty, respect the wildlife, and leave the California mountain ranges CLEANER than you FOUND THEM.😃✌️
Lake Arrowhead is a private lake. Residents pay up the nose to own a boat dock. Being a Michigander, that is hilarious to me. Best views are of the “ cloud.ocean”. The turn outs as you leave the area.
I miss the winds rushing the clouds up the side of the mountain.
If you are not a veteran mountain driver or driver in deep snow with a 4x4 or AWD car, it is strongly recommended that you stay off the mountain from Dec to April for your protection and the sanity of locals.
To avoid altitude sickness eat candied ginger. Common for flatlands to bring children up. Vomiting off the side of the road or in someone’s private driveway is a common sight. Take your trash with you and animals too.
The wildlife encounters include skunks, an occasional mountain lion, black bear, raccoon, and bobcats.

@@iammanofnature235 definitely not they love it they tell friends and family to come up and turns into a disaster kids almost getting ran over because they’re playing on the highway people not know how to drive they think it’s a playground for them not thinking about the residents
