San Bernardino is a city located in the Inland Empire and that serves as the county seat of San Bernardino County, California, United States. As one of the Inland Empire's anchor cities, San Bernardino spans 81 square miles (210 km2) on the floor of the San Bernardino Valley. San Bernardino is the 17th-largest city in California and the 103rd-largest city in the United States. The governments of Guatemala and Mexico have established consulates in the downtown area of the city.
The City of San Bernardino is a community rich in history and cultural diversity. Influences of Native Americans, Mexican settlers, Spanish missionaries and Mormon emigrants can still be seen throughout the City today. From the day in 1810 when Franciscan missionary Father Dumetz named the area San Bernardino to the present, San Bernardino - nestled south of the San Bernardino Mountains and west of the lower desert - has been recognized for its scenic beauty and strategic location. Today, the City of San Bernardino serves as the county seat and is the largest city in the County of San Bernardino with a population of over 213,000.
San Bernardino offers several parks and other recreation facilities. Perris Hill Park is the largest with Roosevelt Bowl, Fiscalini Field, several tennis courts, a Y.M.C.A., a senior center, a shooting range, hiking trails, and a pool. Other notable parks include: the Glen Helen Regional Park, operated by the County of San Bernardino, is located in the northernmost part of the city. Blair Park is another midsized park near the University District, it is home to a well known skate park and various hiking trails on Shandin Hills, also known as Little Mountain.
Thank you for this! I’m not good with driving in curves and it’s supposed to rain this weekend while I drive up there so this video helps with having an idea of what to expect

Do you have any advice for anyone for someone who is driving there for the first time? Coming from near LA. Thank you for the video!
I'd say expect to endure the heavy LA traffic first, but once you make it well beyond the city and into San Bernardino County, traffic becomes more and more forgiving.
I drove my family and I during a trip from Vegas to LA and back in November. Driving through San Bernardino County wasn't bad. The only tough part of the trip was enduring the LA traffic.
Other than that, be prepared for a long drive.
The road up the mountain is very curvy.
What kind of camera did u use to record this video?
Thanks for the memories.
Hi is this the easy less steep and turns drive to get to big bear/arrowhead from LA? From the 210fwy or 15fwy?
This is the best and easiest route up. 210 fwy -18
Are they steep uphills or is it pretty fair normal hill
