I have used this very one and it didn’t seem to stretch overly much. However if you are worried about it, you could line it with felt or regular fabric
I am sure there's other ways of doing it, I just haven't tried any other way. Please let me know if you try it in a different way and it's easier. I am all for improving my methods if it's possible ☺️
@@DaysCrochet on the pattern for the foot it's ok just I made it a bit longer, I forgot the yarn stretches so I'll get that. I was hoping to do an after thought heel on the sock but I realized it is double and may not work

Is there a different way of doing the heel when it's off or fold it in half or shaping it?

what is the purpose of the waste yarn? i’m considering getting a machine to do fun crafts with my kids…
Because you have to pick up the stitches or the project comes apart. The waste yarn makes the stitches easier to pick up and easier to see
is this strictly decoration or can it be used as a stocking. I wasn't sure if it would stretch out or not
It stretches some but not terribly. We used them last year and they were like a regular knit stocking
