Covid was pretty tough. We were locked in a hotel for 2 months while Shanghai was under locked down and every time we entered the country we had to do 2 weeks quarantine (I think I did about 26 weeks of quarantine!) Today, China faces its own challenges. People are great. Food is great. As far as government is concerned, I don’t get involved with politics in any country we visit so I’ll leave that for others in the comments section 😂 Definitely don’t want war to break out, but some things are just out of our control and we can only hope for the best
Thanks for the question We do International Procedures training that briefly covers operations in the US, Europe and China, including North Atlantic and Pacific crossings which takes about 8 hours to complete We can also study the local procedures ourselves. Biggest difference is the Altimetry as China still uses metres instead of feet for altitudes/flight levels
