- Master P's daughter Tytyana Miller's cause of death has been revealed. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's office confirmed on Tuesday the 29-year-old died from fentanyl intoxication on May 27, confirming reports she died as a result of drugs.

I was a heroin addict 5 years ago. I went to rehab after realizing I was 2 months pregnant after being hit by a car crossing the street. When I went to the hospital, surprise surprise. I walked out of there right after the news and cried so much because I didn't know what I was going to do. Saddest part I didn't want to give up the drugs. I even thought of having an abortion just so I can continue on the path. I was so lonely I was 23. I cane from DR to NY as an abandoned child, I was ready to die. So I thought. Not having the money for an abortion (thank GOD) I went to rehab because I kept crying just thinking of what I was doing to that baby who I had no attachment to. All I knew was that I would die knowing that a child of mine would be taking away right after birth so I went to rehab. Cleaned myself got on treatment medication gave birth went home. It was a struggle because I wasn't as attached as I wanted to, post-partum depression and the father of my child whom I got with and who wasn't my boyfriend at the time of conception because he wanted a family. After pretending to have a perfect family and recreating a story which we will tell our daughter of how me wet (silly huh) I decided that's not the life I wanted. Been clean for five years, a single mom, and a sophomore at Monroe college seeking a Bachelors of science majoring in Criminal justice. My daughter a libra baby just turned 5 and was diagnosed with autism at the age of 3. That struggle I'll tell you in another story. Just know she is thriving and we love each other and feel safe in each other's arms. She's giggly and happy and you can tell by the way she smiles all day long. So do I. One day she will be able to talk to me and ask me questions. The fear of losing her disturbs my mind and my peace at time because the world we live in is cold and heartless. So make sure your kids come home to a loving, peaceful and warm home.
Update: Isabelle turns 6 today and I will be 6 years clean in a couple of months.❤️💙 she now says momma 💙🥰🎊

I suffer from mental illness. N never once had the thought of doing drugs or alcohol . I knew if I did I would never be able to stop. So I didn't try it.. instead I pray daily n take one day at a time with all my life's struggles.. I'm getting stronger 💪 praise be to God...🙏

A display of bravery to share your experience so openly, so personal. Seems to me, situations vary, individual cases, life experiences. Also seems the 'industry' has commercialized mental illness, making people believe, buy into the notion, that they are mentally defective. The ""experts telling people and the industry making bankroll, it is unfortunate. Happened, was at so much ""trending when there was the time of conceived notions that all children had ADHD, kids on Prozac, etc. Children are high energy. All humans have emotions. Does seem individuals have illnesses in their emotional strength from time to time and tolerance for other people in relationships, but it definitely doesn't seem to me that God, made a bunch of, a ton of human beings who are all equally described as 'mental'! Definitely not. A vicious murderer is the same description as an individual who commits suicide because they are upset their mom died or otherwise. People have emotions, sadness, struggle with life tragedy. Doesn't seem even 'nice to call the people all the same label mental, for this superuber politically correct world we are in. Seems someone would have realized. Maybe emotional breakdown, or even so emotional depression experience/ or experiences. But mental?? Sure you are probably a very astute, intelligent, brave, courageous, beautiful, amazing human being, woman, an empowered woman. 🤗🤗 May God continue to guide your light and your life.🤗

I survived an OD on my 28th birthday, unfortunately many who use drugs are self-medicating to cope with mental health troubles. I have been clean ever since that day, I am so sad this beautiful young woman lost her struggle. Rest in peace

I think it’s a little deeper. Their family despite the money did have some hardships. I think with their mother and her father as a big time rapper and always away, not saying that’s what did it but it’s a text book formula for destruction, especially for children who are “privileged”. The upbringing, the lack of or too much of can easily influence this storyline. That’s pure pain, pure pain that destroyed that girl. It’s sad. You don’t know what people carry In their heart and how certain things affect them. I hope the family finds solace.

My niece just passed away in April from alcohol poisoning and fentanyl overdose. She was only 34 yrs old. I know the pain Master P and his family are going through. My sister is DESTROYED. My heart goes out to them.

I lost my only child Jacob,on October 13th 2021.He was 18 n passed from a seizure in his sleep. When he said when he went to his daughters funeral it was like going to his own.That is how I felt .As of right now I'm completely alone.His dad passed in 2016.Just don't know if I can go on.Just please everyone tell ur kids u love them n spend as much time with them as possible. There is something about old school rappers that just have a sense of peace and humbleness to them. Master p and silk the shocker got me through 9th grade. I know that sounds weird but they rapped about things that helped me through some hard times. I'm so sorry for the loss of his daughter and their sister. It's absolutely horrible. I pray that the family is able to heal and he is able to help the recovery/addiction community. I've got 15 years sober and I'm so thankful to be here and to be alive. God bless all the addicts out there. I will pray for all of you. You can beat this demon and recover. I know you can. 🙏

Something no one should ever have to go through. I’m always impressed with ppl who can take that pain and put it into action. One of the hardest things we learn in this life is, you don’t always get to know why. Prayers to the family and any in a similar battle.

I lost my daughter to fentanyl also, she was trying to stop her pain, she even od three weeks before, I thought maybe she would have been afraid to do it again. Unfortunate she did and now I have my two beautiful grandchildren to raise 😭😭😭

We have a serious drug epidemic. We need to bring back some kind of drug awareness in our schools. Epidemic people! Every person alive knows someone that is suffering from drug addiction. It has hit every home. #1. DRUG AWARENESS /ANTI PROGRAMS IN OUR SCHOOLS. #2. DOCTORS STOP PRESCRIBING THESE ADDICTIVE PAIN MEDS, you must care to DOCTORS!!! We are all in this drug epidemic together.
I agree we're in this together however drug awareness programs in school such as DARE were proven to fail.
We need overdose awareness in our society, the masses to carry Narcan, the stigma that surrounds addiction to be replaced with care for our fellow humans as we are all struggling in some way. We need to stop telling folks they have to have expensive rehabs that profit from relapse to recover and start basing recovery around mental health care are reality based healing. That would be a proper start. I also agree that we need have stricter monitoring of addictive medications but we need to start holding pharmaceutical companies liable for the deaths of our family, friends and neighbors.
We live in a society that GLORIFIES AND NORMALIZES DRUG USE IN MUSIC and TV. Start by being aware of what we support and allow our children to see. Because it's NOT new, we've just been conditioned to accept and THAT'S a problem.

I am a recovering drug abuser, many say like a mother like a daughter. I went down the road and my mother went. A few key points hurt people, I made a lot of mistakes and choices in my life. When he said going to his daughter's funeral was like going to his own funeral😒😭😭 I honestly felt those words in my spirit...cause once you see those haunting images of your loved ones in those caskets and then lowered in the ground those haunting images stay with you forever they never ever leave you 😒😔 momma passed on it was the worst thing I'd ever experienced
I know they’re still struggling as a family dealing with their loss but I pray whoever is lost , confused or unsure of what tomorrow may bring … keep fighting because u are doing something with yourself just by working on becoming the person u want to be

My drug of choice was always alcohol never got hooked to anything else... But even alcohol abuse will kill you and make you sick. sadly some people are not strong enough to fight drug addiction. my cousin overdosed. he was in an out of rehab. but still lost his like because he couldn't seem to stay off the drugs.
Opioids alter brain chemistry so addicts do not think rationally about the dangers of these drugs…like most drugs… the pull is extremely strong… plus now there are people dying from Fentanyl poisoning who are not drug addicts or do narcotics are getting Fentanyl contaminated drugs

This generation is just a mess. They dont fear any consequences. I feel for Master P. He has really tried to pull up his family and the future of his family. And as involved as he has been with his kids, so many young ones are still dropping like flies. Praying for their family.

Drugs and youth have always gone hand in hand. Sadly, it's a time of exploration, curiosity and struggle. The problem is the present day drugs- fentanyl is just so lethal.. and so incredibly addictive. This younger generation is doing incredibly well- all things considered. It's not an easy time to be young- and I don't think it's a coincidence that Tytyana passed during a global pandemic. All. So. Sad 💔

People were oding off of heroine in the 60’s and crack ripped thru entire communities as far back as the early 80’s …. point is, drug addiction has effected MANY generations, not just this one …. unfortunately 😔

I’m so very sorry to hear this. I myself almost met the same fate. I pray that addiction can stop being judged so harshly. So many are struggling secretly and in silence because it’s more terrifying to be judged and stereotyped and disowned than it is to accidentally die from the disease. I’m in recovery now. And I have been sober for a while now. But it still feels like yesterday in some ways. I was given prescription pain pills as a child a baby who knew nothing about addiction and had no clue anything a doctor could prescribe could be Dangerous or addictive. My own father started me down that road. He himself was a huge addict tasking the same pills. I trusted him. As a child we assume those adults in our lives know everything. He then got me going to “his doctor” who was a close friend of his. This man would write RX for anything my dad requested. I remember my first personal prescription came with 12 refills!!! Insane. I didn’t even know I was an addict or physically addicted until my 20s I had always just had the pills and took them. Smh 🤦🏼♀️ my addiction lasted 23 years!!! And when I say no one had a clue....I mean no one! Even at after a certain point my dad didn’t even know I was still on them. I kept jobs, nice homes, decent car....I was living a double life. The 2x I reached out for help I was shamed so badly the first time it took me 10+ yrs to ask for help again from anyone or anywhere! Then the second time I was not accepted and was told my case didn’t seem drastic enough and was gaslit I to believing because I was a employed person who had never been to jail or been in trouble, I had a home and a car and “normal” lifestyle than I should just get off myself. By this time I was using H-but not injecting. And only using H if I could not get enough or any pills. Then it went to only H because it’s so much cheaper and easier to get. ((My “family doc” had long since retired) but anyway they denied me for treatment. Then about 18 months later I ODed. All of street H is just fentanyl now days. I mean ALL OF IT. Even coke and meth have it mixed it. I didn’t do any other drugs tho. But my OD was bad. I died for 7 min. It took 5 narcans to revive me plus cpr that cracked my ribs. And once that happened and everyone found out I was in hospital and for drug OD like immediately everyone knew. Gossip travels quickly. But it set me free! As scary as it was and as hard as it is for me to think back on that time it was a blessing because I no longer could Don my mask of the perfect daughter, girlfriend, mother, friend, employee etc. And the place that had denied me treatment 18 months prior immediately allowed me to join their treatment program which was my biggest wish for so many years. lm clean and sober now. I only have like a year and a half. But I’m so thankful. But so often I think about all of the years that I lived in deep deep depression hiding myself and my issues from everyone and I mean everyone! It’s so hard for me to think about now. So many years wasted unhappy and unhealthy and deeply deeply depressed and hopeless. All due to fear of judgment and embarrassment. So scared to be labeled a failure or untrustworthy etc. I was never the addict who was stealing from others to support my habit or getting so high that I was nodding out standing up. I was literally just in survival mode for so long. I’m so thankful now to be in a place I’d never imagined possible. My father the one who begun my addiction in middle school as a tool to control me well into my adulthood died right after I got sober and he died still a fentanyl addict himself. And he caught Covid and being elderly and a full blown Opiate addict for at least probably 40 years. I’m almost 39 and he was one my whole life. But being a successful white businessman who knew a lot of important people and had no problem being unethical and straight up breaking the law if it was for his gain. And he just always got away with everything. And he was a VERY intense person with a bad temper so no1 ever pressed him or questioned him out of fear and discomfort. He even stole money from me and my children for years without me knowing till it was too late. Smh No one even knows the full story of my dad not even me, but unfortunately I’m burdened with knowing drastically more than anybody else including my mom or older brother. I haven’t told anyone in my family of his Manipulation towards me and him being my reason for first using. One aunt figured it out and asked me. I told her yes but didn’t get into details. He’s dead and gone and I fell uncomfortable with starting a smear campaign of his name w/ him gone. And at a certain point it no longer was on him. I was grown and should of found a way out. And I did finally thank god. I just really wish it was sooner. I imagine often how much more successful my life could be at this point if I would of just been helped and treated like a human that very first time I reached out to doctors for help. I believe it was around 25 yr old. I am now nearly 39. All my best youthful years are gone and done. For nothing. For fear of embarrassment . It got to the point I’d pray every single night almost to not wake up the next day. And though my life is still hard and 23 years of damage to my mind body and soul takes a lot to recover or bounce back from. I hear often people say take at least half the amount of time u were addicted to get well, and therapy is everything! It’s huge! I decided from day one of treatment I’d be 100% honest with my treatment team and therapist......it feels like it’s doing almost nothing at all for months. But then suddenly you will start catching yourself dealing with a situation completely different and better than ever before. You have these moments that just pop up and it literally will blow ur mind you handled it so well. That’s when I suddenly realize omg it’s working’ all those hours talking literally just talking every thing out to another human who treats you w grace and love and kindness and tells you how much better you deserve. Then it’s becomes almost enjoyable to go there every week or day or whatever because ur actually beginning to like yourself!!!’ It’s unbelievable I’ve hated me for my entire life. Now I love me! Genuinely! And that’s beyond wild to me I never understood how that’s even be possible. We have a disease and yes it 100% should be treated as such. Imagine ur friend gets cancer ....they reach out to tell you they are sick and struggling. But I know that they smoked cigarettes for many years prior or something. So when they say hey I got cancer and it’s pretty bad but I’m fighting it. Pray for me. And you get enraged and tell them they deserve it because u know they smoked in there younger years. And they get disowned judged etc by absolutely every human being around them. That’s what judging people addicted (especially to opiates) is like. It’s ridiculous. And if you believe otherwise I pray that you educate yourself a bit more. ❤️

And my family isn’t interested or even wanting to know details of anything from my life to my dads to anything we just aren’t a close knit talking family. So when I don’t have therapy for the week I write to no one and everyone, on RUclips. It’s my space to let it out. It’s so nice when someone actually reads it and has positive feedback! We need to stop the stigma, and be open about the disease of addiction and the massive mental illness today. Their is a solution, pray for eyes to be open, and hearts to change. May the Lord protect our youth from this evilness. Stand firm in the Lord. Be a light! and may Tytyana's life no be in vain, but be a gift to all who are suffering. Recovery is possible!!! Hold on tight to those you know who are addicted, don't give up on them, and pray over them, push them to get help. There are many medically designed programs to help get clean. I pray those programs are everywhere and accessible to all, rich or poor. And my prayers are for every addicted person and their families...1 John 4:4

My heart breaks for her, and now her family left to grieve. I have to say, Master P was forever trying to help her, access to the best care, etc. He didn't give up on her like some celebs do. I feel like at a certain point especially where they deny rehab, you somewhat know their faith. And you still try your best but you can’t make anyone do something they don’t want to do. Even if they do want to quit and can’t , it’s nothing a specific person can tell them. It has to be them to make that decision and acknowledge they cannot do this on their own. And that’s really the scary part because sometimes they’re too deep in and can’t make that decision for themselves. I hope and pray everyone going through things like this knows that it can get better and you can overcome it. Sometimes it’s ok to get outside help and putting yourself in the position to get the help is ok as well.

We need overdose awareness in our society, the masses to carry Narcan, the stigma that surrounds addiction to be replaced with care for our fellow humans as we are all struggling in some way. We need to stop telling folks they have to have expensive rehabs that profit from relapse to recover and start basing recovery around mental health care are reality based healing. That would be a proper start. I also agree that we need have stricter monitoring of addictive medications but we need to start holding pharmaceutical companies liable for the deaths of our family, friends and neighbors.
We have it. People still choose hard drugs to cope with their problems knowing the consequences.

Just incase you are referring to my comment let me express that I carry Narcan and teach others how to obtain and use Narcan to save lives. I also spread awareness by speaking about my brother's life, career in music, addiction story, relapse, losing him to overdose, and the grief loved ones carry. Don't ever assume you know something that you have no grasp of.
