I'm so glad that you cross stitch with your students. We so need to get their creative minds going. I appreciate you as a teacher and a crafter stitcher quilter.
I absolutely love all the cross stitch as an avid stitcher for over 45 years but the quilt for your daughter stole the show! What fabulous memories sewn into it and what a treasure it will be for her for the rest of her life! I want to do the same thing for my 5 grandchildren now! Thank you for a wonderful episode! ❤
Your daughter's quilt is beautiful & the special memories sewn into are amazing! I'm sure she will treasure it forever. Love seeing what your stitching & about your Stitching Club! I'm sure the boy that wants your Channel to grow will be excited in September when he sees you, I'm sure you will meet his goal for you! Have a fun summer!
I love your daughter's quilt! What a special memory! I'm not sure if I'm going to have time to stitch a piece for the smalls exchange, but if I do I'm totally keeping my eyes open for cherries! 🍒
I'm so glad I happened by today to listen. It's so exciting to hear about the love your students have for crafts. My daughter loves her craft club at school. She learned to knit, crochet, and show others how to sew. Middle school is such a difficult age, so it's fun to hear of their enthusiasm.
Thank you so much for stopping to watch. I love that your daughter has learned how to do all of those things at school. Middle school is hard, but having a group of like minded peers helps a lot. ❤️
Thank you for the wonderful video. I loved the quilt at the end. My grandmother did something similar using leftover fabric from clothes that my mother made for me. I love it so much. It is worn in a lot of places. Thank you for sharing and enjoy your summer.
I loved seeing and the story about your daughter’s quilt! What a special treasure! You have so many cute bee themed pieces, they are all so cute! Enjoy your summer off from school and try not to work too hard! I look forward to hearing more about the girls cross stitch club in the fall!
Love all your finishes! So glad your feeling better. Yeah that crud has been going around. Oooh that bluebird! All the bees! I Love Farmhouse Flossies. I am the guilty person who enabled Missy, Lol
Good afternoon I just wanted to that I totally agree with you about stitching with friends. We have a group of 6 ladies that get together every Monday afternoon to stitch. It is a wonderful time when we visit and stitch and sometimes enable each other. Have a blessed day.
Your daughter’s quilt reminds me of the story The Keeping Quilt by Patricia Polacco. I loved reading that story to my class. She is my favorite children’s author.
Hello! So nice to watch your flosstube! So happy for your students! They are blessed to have you as a teacher! I know what you mean!- so many projects to stitch and which one to start? 😝 Thank you for sharing! Happy stitching!
Good morning Stephanie. So glad you’re feeling better. Your new projects and finishes are beautiful! So glad to see your video when I woke up this morning. Very inspiring! Your quilt in the background is beautiful too!
Your daughter's quilt is a treasure! I loved the stories about your students taking a knee when you got injured and about the 6th grader that takes an interest in your channel. They touched this retired teacher's heart. Enjoy your summer! I hope you get lots of stitching between your jobs. 😄❤
Just found your channel and subscribed since your student is watching your numbers. 🙂 Enjoyed watching and looking forward to your next video. Love your special quilt you made your daughter. It's wonderful that you have a cross stitch club for your students. How fun!
Welcome! Thank you so much for finding me and subscribing. It’s so funny how excited he is by the numbers. The girls in the club get excited too and are very supportive. ❤️
Another great video. Your daughter’s quilt is amazing. I currently live in NC but lived in MA my entire life. All my family is still there and I go up several times a year. Just missed you a week ago Wednesday at Pam’s shop. Hope to make a Wednesday stitching when I’m back up in September
The quilt you made for your daughter is beautiful. She’s right about the grass stains showing that she has used it. I made a lap quilt years ago that has always been on my bed since it was finished. More and more places on the quilt are showing wear. I have a quilt my grandmother made that is falling apart as well. It’s also been on my bed for years. I love them both and so I use them. Good for your daughter. I was stitching Primrose Cottage Patriotic Quaker when you showed your spring finish, which is really pretty. Love the colors. Anyway I had to rip out a motif because I stitched it in the wrong color. I totally messed up the Valentine Quaker somewhere in the middle and didn’t realize it until I got to the border on the right side so I had to recreate that border. I don’t know what it is about Primrose Quaker patterns but for some reason I have problems with them. I feel your pain. I love the LHN bluebird pillow. It’s so cute. Blue is my favorite color so I think I’ll look for the pattern. What color is the dark bluish fabric your friend Sarah found and shared with you. It’s 18 count but you never said what color it is. I love that blue and would appreciate if you could tell me what it is. It’s so nice that your students are so enthusiastic about cross stitch club. I have some patterns I’d like to donate next year. When school starts, I’ll email you pics of what they are to see if you can use them. They are new and are duplicates because somehow I forgot I had already purchased them. Enjoy your summer off. As a retired teacher, I feel your joy. When you mentioned packing up your room it brought back memories, especially the last year when I retired. Have fun and get a lot of stitching and quilting done.
Hi Barbara, thank you so much for watching and sharing your similar experience with quakers. 😊 The 18 ct blue fabric is called Esmeralda. If you have extra patterns that you want to share for my students, that would be amazing. We are starting up the club again this September. Enjoy your summer. Hope you get lots of stitchy time too! ❤️
Just a little hint Frixion pen will return if you put it in the freezer both on paper and fabric. Great projects you are working on. The your Heartfelt quilt is beautiful and I like your choice of fabric. I want to start the Mighty Acorn as well and the dirt track looks great.
Stephanie I just love your videos, your energy and humor puts a smile on my face! Thanks for some new bee inspiration 😊 and your good intentions is beyond gorgeous on that fabric!
If you put the pattern in the freezer. It will come back. I’ve done that with embroidery and was able to save all my tracing that had disappeared when I left it in the. Sun
Nice to see your stitching progress & finishes. Great bee finishes. You enabled me for a couple of bee charts! What & where did you buy the fabric bundle (beautiful colors). Did you use a pattern for your project binders? TFS.
I purchased “Nice Ice Baby” from Jordan Fabrics. They are an online shop and have lots of quilting videos. I do not have a pattern for the wippah keepah, but Elizabeth Ann Can Stitch has a couple of bag tutorials that I went from.
Hi. Hope you are okay. Kids are great, it's the adults raising them who changed. God bless all our great teachers. Love all your stitching - especially those ducks. Can you please tell me the designer and pattern name?

@@the_new_england_stitcher I definitely will. I’d love that. The plan is to be back up sometime around 9/7
Hi Stephanie. Great video. My suggestion is that you bead the 12 days of Christmas stockings as you go. 😁
Thank you. I will definitely think about that. Totally makes sense. 😊

Thanks for the info! I hope you do start the mighty acorn with us. I know I will be at it for a while. 😊
I have a lot of my dads shirts in my hope chest - been meaning to do a quilt so you inspired me. hugs
I’m so glad that the quilt inspired you. You should definitely make something with his shirts when you are ready. ❤️

I’m working on Antique Bee Sampler by Elizabeth’s Needlework Designs.
Thank you for sharing. I definitely need to go look that up. 😊
The highlighting can come back if you put it in the freezer.
My grandson is finishing up 6th grade. It’s a fun age.
They are so adorable at that age. 😊

Try railroading the white stitches
Do the Tiny Town first. Get it done in 5 sittings and then the world is open to stitch whatever.
You think? I trust you, so that’s my plan for tonight. ❤️
