How cold do you think you could go with the camper tent extender? Does it keep the camper warmer or is it basically the same as being in a regular tent?
I've never compared inside vs outside temp, but I would guess it doesn't add a ton of warmth. Especially since no insulation. Basically a metal box with canvas at the feet lol. But I will say with a good sleeping pad and bag it's extremely comfortable sleeping. Main benefit I think is lack of wind noise and just added sense of security and comfort. I fear no wind when I'm in this thing. Unsure of how well it would do in a crazy storm, but thankfully that's not extremely common around here
@@GetBusyLivin Figured it may not do much for heat, but hoping i was wrong lol. I would much rather sleep inside a camper for heavy winds so that would be a bonus. Thanks!
Hey Sean, it's a great tent for quick overnight trips, but I do have some gripes with it for sure. It has a lot of room for improvement. The site is somewhere in Buffalo Creek area outside of Bailey, CO. :)
great question, and the answer is yes. Not sure if it's because of the heat or because it was difficult to stick the carpet and velcro on really well, but ya it's not the best way to attach a tent in my opinion. Especially if you have a spray on bedliner. That made it pretty tricky. I'm working on a producing a new tent into this space soon! stay tuned. prototype coming soon!
Thank you the input. I have the same setup as you with the rsi on a short bed Tacoma and have been looking at ways to use my tailgate to add space for my feet and I’m looking at this tent and the topper tent but both seem to use the same setup with the velcro adhesive. I am very curious to see what you create man. Please share as I’m very interested. 🙏🏼
I sleep in the back of my ranger but i sleep diagonally and can shut the back door and tailgate.
Bro think about getting a project m from FWC . Love your channel. Hopefully in about a year I’ll have my own Ranger Tremor.
Tell me more about this Project M from FWC??

Hey, great video, I’m thinking of buying that tent add-on! Also just curious, whereabouts is this camping spot?

Nice set up.
Thanks!
if you dog has issues it’s cus you failed to train him lmao
thanks for watching and helping grow the channel
Have you had any issues with the velcro attachments to your rsi smart cap over time. As the camper is steel does the heat make the adhesive come off?

Nice setup! What kind of bed drawers are those?
Hey just some drawers I made out of 2x10 and plywood!
Very nice 👍🏻
Mobil bagus Good job
Any links to purchase the tent and your topper? I really love that set up. I’ve been searching for ideas for my ranger. This looks perfect.
Hey Mike, I went ahead and added the links to those things in the description! Check them out
I can’t find the exact tent that you bought with the topper on the website leak
