How dare you disgrace the bmw platform! This is such a piece ooooffffff really cool engineering bro not gonna lie it wore on me really quick that's so awesome lol
Loving the build bro great work. I’ve used a dremel to trim the qp so tires don’t rub and sealed it up with POR15 and never had any issues. Dunno if it’s worth it for you but it has worked for me! Also random question but I picked up a 46 cause there were no clean 36s around my area. Bought the kswap kit just waiting for it and I plan on boosting as well. My question is, are you using stock fuel system? I’m a Honda guy and not familiar with the BMW fuel system. I know I had the fuel return going into the top of the hanger but these cars seem to only have the feed line there am I missing something or it’s just returnless?
@Stateside_aristo I'm using the stock tank and lines up until right before the engine bay, then I have the hard line converted to -6AN and then hoses ran to the fuel rail and pressure regulator. I'm not sure about e46s, but if it's anything like the e36 then under the back seat on the right side will be the fuel pump housing with the feed line going to the engine. On my e36, there's another plate on the left side where the fuel returns to the tank and that's also where the fuel level sender is. Hopefully that helps, man. I had an e46 but it was 5 years ago and I didn't have it for long do I can't remember.
@ definitely a big help brother thank you! I’m gonna keep you posted on my progress and post up some vids myself. The plan was to run e85 so wanted everything to be safe. On my Hondas I usually get some fuel lines and run em from the fuel rail and regulator all the way back to the pump but your idea works too I’m gonna do that for sure!
@Stateside_aristo from the little info I could fine, people were saying that stock e36 line was good for e85. The only reason I cut and made the AN adapter was because my rail and pressure regulator are AN fittings. I ended up using PTFE hoses and for never doing it before, it wasn't that hard and I had no leaks. I did replace the rubber lines going from the pump feed to hard line and the return line also, but that was with generic fuel hose and only because the old one was rotted real bad to the point where it leaked. Let me know if you need anything man, I aint a great mechanic, but I sort of know things and atleast made this work lmao
@@Sammmmmmmmmy bro what you did is actually perfect and I feel you on making the lines, I actually made -16an rad hoses for the first time about two builds ago and all I needed was a vise and I ended up getting an adjustable AN wrench, only bc I scratched some pieces up being an idiot without the correct tool haha. But yea I think im gonna go the same route you did I love your build man. I wanna go turbo too just not sure if the 250G trans can handle it. Not familiar with these cars. I heard the ZF trans is stronger. But the trans I have is listed as one of the getrags that work with the ZF kit from 625inc so I was just gonna send it and see what happens lmao.
@radek7365 kansei knp wheels 17x9 +35 all around, falken azenis rt660 tires 245 40 17 all around. Should have went a little a smaller tire up front though. 5mm spacers on the front, none on the rear
Love seeing the progress!!

I still feel like I could have done a turbo m50 for half the price, but this thing still rips and I'm happy with it
@@Sammmmmmmmmy no many cam say thy put a Honda in a bmw
As fellow civic and 36 owners..we know exactly why you did this😭
