I got a original shutter after my MYY N12 broke a year or two ago. Loved it but now I'm using the Alex Hattori Boost and I just bought Brandon Vu's Outlier 2. Loving the Boost and the Outlier is coming in the mail still. Will probably keep my Shutter as a beater for outside and over concrete and whatnot but I still like it. Sadly I stripped the threads on my N12 but it was a $15 chinese yoyo so I'm not too down about it.
My first moderately expensive yoyo i got is the rain city skills retro rocket, and i dinked it on my god damn metal bed frame, but surprisingly it still has like no vibe, although its sad that the paint got scratched :/
now there's gonna be toughter yoyo challenges but I know you can still do it

What are some good tricks to start learning. I just started yo-yoing and was wondering.
I know how to do the,
Sidewinder, around the world, breakaway, rock the baby, and walk the dog
Trapeze, barrel rolls, split the atom, brain twister , stuff like that :)

Yes learn these tricks he said and just do them over and over until you can do them without trying . It's mostly muscle memory then you can put together beginner combos like double flips with a brain twister finish it looks cool and super smooth if you can pull it off .
