I have to agree on the old school teachings! I'm 39 and I have been behind the wheel since 18. I can recall working for Gibson Brothers Trucking in Detroit, MI. I was learning how to run gravel trains and I was taught by one of the brothers who would take me to an old grocery store and back those trains up into the dock. Man I will never forget that!

I really miss being a trucker. I left my previous trucking job in September 2008 because of medical issues. It's been almost 13 years since then and I had not been able to get on with any trucking company. So, I plan to apply towards truck driving school in Columbus, Georgia or any company that will train me and help me get my cdl. Right now I am working on improving my health and maintain it well enough to pass the dot physical. I got all the time in the world. My health comes first. I'm trusting that the Lord will bless me with another opportunity and I will do my best as a driver.👍
@Molly Spencer Thank you. I'm doing my best. I encourage all truckers from rookies to veteran truckers, to improve and better themselves healthwise on and off the road. Any free time you can get just take up a good 30 to 40 minutes of exercise. You will feel a lot better.

My dad taught me to drive just like you said their was so much that you can't pick any one thing.their was one thing I was having a hard time with he told me you drive the truck the truck don't drive you I miss that guy so very much we trucked togeather for years he's gone now I drove for 45 tears you have a beautiful truck an story bless you keep up the good work a n enjoy your dad ever chance you get.

A year ago I saw 👀 a group of peterbilt 379’s eastern Oregon , the paint looked like clay effect on them really sweet would mosdef me a matte color grey and red , I for get the last color , but they where good looking

Beautiful rig, but I hate long frame trucks!! I'm a switcher truck driver and it's such a pain trying to get set up for a door with a long frame truck sticking out halfway to the next state in the door beside it!!

Good looking truck but I can’t understand why anyone would stretch a chassis to that length it just looks silly and pointless. I love trucks and always have since I was a child as my dad was a trucker as I am so I’m just giving my honest opinion.For me the closer the trailer to the cab the better the handling and appearance,but I do appreciate your love of trucks and thanks for showing your beautiful rig
