AUDI B5 S4 DOWNPIPE INSTALL / CANT BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED!!

What's going on guys !!! Today's episode were tackling these B5 S4 Downpipes . Not an easy task, need to have patience and some different tools but we give you the how to!!!

Hey a great tip for getting the downpipes out next time is you can raise the car to the max and you can "twist" them out and they'll go towards the front of the car and easily come out. I've done these like 6+ times and it works every time.
No need for subframe Jimmy
No need for axle covers removal
And PB blast the shizzz out of the heat shield covers and DO NOT put them back on, id recommended covering the existing heat shields if you are worried but also never had a problem with heat getting into the cabin.

Did it that you the first time, never again! Damn I had a hard time, but i changed the screws between dp and turbo also. Kept my shields tho ^^ Dropping the engine is so much easyer.

Yea so in my experience dps dont go in til the ko4s or bigger go in.. so much easier when motor is out...

Hi, you said while you're in there to check the turbos for shaft play does that mean you'd be able to replace the turbos without pulling the engine?

It's possible to. Just wayyyyyy easier with the engine out

You can drop the back of the sub frame and do it in a couple hours. Seen it happen... Than once

@@SpoolingUpPerformance Well yeah that's sort of the point! lol. I have an Allroad that I bought recently. You had a exhaust made which I'm interested in seeing and hearing - what mufflers/resonators you used etc. I'm planning on similar with the eBay special turbo back but magnaflow resonators and mufflers with Borla dual tips so 4 total. If you could upload a simple follow up that would be nice.

Would you recommend buying a 2000 b5 s4 with 240k for $2900. It looks in perfect condition. Funny thing it’s the same color as this one

If it checks out mechanically then mileage doesn’t matter . The engine was either taken care of or it wasn’t ya know ? But for 2k it’s worth a shot . Check to see when major engine maintenance was done such as timing. , water pump etc
