The Fallout (USA 2021) - film review in German

High school student Vada goes to the bathroom in the middle of class. While she is there, there is a shooting at school. Vada hides in a toilet cubicle with her classmate Mia. Both survive, but the event leaves a deep scar on them.
Above all, the film is about Vada and the emotional impact of the school tragedy on her. In the weeks following the incident, Vada becomes depressed and isolates herself from her family and best friend Nick. Her relationships with her family, her friends, and her view of the world have changed forever.
