For as much as I loved everything else, the wand editor let me down quite a bit to be honest.... I expected more, more variations, more little changes depending on wood type an core. All we got was a bunch sliders that meant absolutely nothing (wood, lenghts, stiffness....) and 8 predefined types of wands with PS3 textures. Pity, could have been so much better

Thank you for addressing it. I don’t think we should harass anyone, but I do think people should mention it because it’s a privilege to not have to be affected by it. I adore Harry Potter and the world of magic since childhood, through bullying, emotional abuse, isolation, etc. and I hate that JKR has ruined that for so many people. I'm loving this playthrough, very much. It makes me grin, that the cauldron shop specifically states that it's unwise to stack cauldrons so precariously if you want to brew potions, and then the potion shop has a big precarious stack in front of the fire.

Whenever I pick my wand, I always go with a variation of Larch (my wand wood). A lot of people, and the game, think that larch wood is a deeper brown than it actually is. Larch wood is more of a light honey-color than deep brown, so whenever I pick a wand, I go with the lighter brown, since I'm working off of Hermione's wand color, since hers is a larch wood wand.

The fall damage in this game is so weird. There's a threshold where you take zero damage right up to it. Fall a centimetre further than that, and it's instant death.

Why would someone spoil to you that you have to use Lumos on the frame, rather than directing you to Lenora in the Grand Hall, which is how you're supposed to learn it? Goddamned killjoys, they think they're cool but they're just a bunch of muggles. You don't 'have to do it now', as you can track whichever quest you want; the game just switches to the quest you updated last. Also, you don't need to miss opportunities to talk to NPCs and start new quests due to being 'busy', as you can have every single quest running at the same time and then you just switch to whichever quest you want to advance now. It's better than missing opportunities.

I've been having a blast playing this game so far.
Every once in a while youll see student npcs flying on broomsticks while at hogwarts, and they are flying much much faster than you ever can... AND very rarely you can see them flying over hogsmeade, but youre not allowed to

Whenever I pick my wand, I always go with a variation of Larch (my wand wood). A lot of people, and the game, think that larch wood is a deeper brown than it actually is. Larch wood is more of a light honey-color than deep brown, so whenever I pick a wand, I go with the lighter brown, since I'm working off of Hermione's wand color, since hers is a larch wood wand.

Why would someone spoil to you that you have to use Lumos on the frame, rather than directing you to Lenora in the Grand Hall, which is how you're supposed to learn it? Goddamned killjoys, they think they're cool but they're just a bunch of muggles.
You don't 'have to do it now', as you can track whichever quest you want; the game just switches to the quest you updated last. Also, you don't need to miss opportunities to talk to NPCs and start new quests due to being 'busy', as you can have every single quest running at the same time and then you just switch to whichever quest you want to advance now. It's better than missing opportunities.
