Wow, I'm not really into fixing cars but you are an absolute genius and I love the way nothing fazes you at all! You are doing a fantastic job on the Bentley, terrific work. After everything is done, I hope you keep and enjoy it for as long as you want. Great job!
I have watched all your videos from the moment you bought the car right up to the present day, wonderful to see this iconic British (sorry, German!!) luxury car running again. These cars are built in a town called Crewe in North West England. Crewe is a very famous town as it has been the centre of railway engineering for over 175 years. Thousands of steam, diesel and electric locomotives were built at Crewe Works. So there is a very long tradition of craftsmen in this town, an ideal place to build a luxury car.

Now that's some great idea on how to fix plastic bumpers now you're gonna have all of us diy guys in Lowe's and home depot looking for that miracle bond stuff fixing all kinds of plastic stuff on our cars. Great job. You better watch out those fellows with Bentley's gonna be calling you to fix there's. Peace
Why was the gas filler door removed ? I don't have any mechanical skills, but I've followed the entire repair saga of the Bently and it's very interesting. You explain what you're doing and keep it as simple as possible. Great job.
I am surprised you didn't use fiberglass resin and cloth to reinforce the inside. There are likely crack you haven't seen or stress areas that will crack later.

Another trick for reïnforcing repaired plastic is to cover the crack at the back with the standard skincolored sticky band aid, 2 crossed layers. Then drown it with superglue and bury it with baking powder. It is instantly rockhard.. Good for cracked oldtimer hard plastic dashboards.

Whenever you are dealing with cracked plastics always drill a hole at the end of the crack to stop it spreading further. Also use glass fiber and filler as it’s lighter weight and will conform to bodywork shapes better.

Idea On Cosmetic Fixes: When repairing anything using a patch or cover-up, make an identical patch on the other side of the car or any item being fixed. This will give the impression that both patches are original factory, since they are a balanced pair. I learned this years ago when a convertible had a small tear on the lower left side of its top. Hello im looking at 06 bentley flying spur with lil water damage from the sunroof drain is that easy fix are I could have electric problems all water leaked to the rear passenger trim and headrest should I purchase it
Its hard to say. Depends on what all is damaged. Parts are not cheap by any means for these cars. @@4LaneBlacktop this is what the dealer is tell me about the car water damage 2006 Bentley Continental Flying Spur All Wheel Drive, Automatic, ONLY 58k Miles! ENGINE RUNS GREAT! RUNS/DRIVES! ALL AIRBAGS GOOD! THIS NICE LOOKING BENTLEY CONTINENTAL FLYING SPUR WAS SOLD AS A WATER DAMAGED VEHICLE DUE TO CLOGGED SUNROOF DRAINAGE CHANNELS and LEAK INSIDE. IT IS NOT A FULL BLOWN FLOOD/WATER DAMAGED VEHICLE!!! INTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE WAS FULLY DRY WHEN IT CAME TO OUR YARD. NO DAMP SMELLS OR ODORS INSIDE THE VEHICLE. LOOKS LIKE THE WATER LEAKED INTO THE CABIN BY THE LEFT REAR CORNER OF THE ROOF LINER. SEE DETAILED PICTURES. SOME WATER STAINS ON THE BACK CORNERS OF THE ROOF LINER AND BACK SEAT. ALL MAJOR ELECTRONICS TESTED TO BE IN WORKING CONDITION. CAR WAS DRIVEN LOCALLY AND RUNS/DRIVES GREAT WITH ALL GEARS SHIFTING OK. OEM used parts can be found here on ebay or car-part website
@@jamesholloway1212 I think I know which Bentley you are talking about. I was going to buy it right before I bought mine. Is it black and silver? It has been for sale for a while. It came from IAA in FL. It seems like it was a good car. If its a branded title that will always hurt the value. I havent seen pics of the damage but that headliner is not cheap. Shouldnt be hard to unclog the drain hoses if thats the problem
All I no its in new jersey i hope it its nothing serious because Im digging into my retirement
I will send you my Turbo R 1991 for vid content
who playing bach piano?
made here in UK,bet they would not fix it,most would pay silly money for a new one.
I'm betting you could have used Liquid Nails for 5.00 a tube instead of the expensive stuff you used.
Or just some good bubble gum.... I think he is trying to do it with the best adhesive for automobiles.
