    I would check out My Brest Friend nursing pillows! Its a great pillow and has a strap on the side that you can buckle, which makes it more secure.

    I finally had my little girl a week early on may 30th was deffinetly an experience. My waters broke at 18:20 I got to the hospital at 20:00 the told me on arrival that she had pooped inside me. Then when I got to pushing she was trying to come out sideways so almost had to go to theater and have forceps. Luckily as I was pushing she turned the correct way I ended up needing to be cut for her to come out. Also my blood pressure went really high still is so currently taking blood pressure tablets. She was born at 23:05 weighting 7lbs 1oz. Was an experience I wont forget deffinetly worth it tho.

    In my experience for engorgement the best thing to do is to pump and that will also increase your milk supply! You won’t feel so extremely uncomfortable, will have a small stash of pumped milk and will have a steady increase in milk 🤍.

      Amazing tip! Totally agree with you, once I started pumping it helped relieve the pressure so much! 👏🏻👏🏻 thank you for sharing & for watching!

    Jennifer from Toronto Was thinking the pillow could work if you tried a Velcro connection or something you could " MacGyver " up then just twist around.

    The my breast friend pillow has a clip around it so that it doesnt move when you feed baby. I prefer that over the boppy pillow. I had that same issue as you with the bobby.

    I used the brestfriend pillow because it's very firm and stays in place but we do the koala hold so I didn't use it for very long.

      Ohh!! so many people have suggested the brestfriend pillow! Thank you for sharing your experience! :)

    I had my boy 3 months ago too but he don’t latch well. So I had to pump it out and bottle feed him :( It’s good that your baby latch well and eat well!

    • @happilyevernancy
      @happilyevernancy  4 года назад

      aww! It's so incredibly hard getting them to latch well, so much goes into breastfeeding I feel like there's always something new to learn about it! How are you currently doing? ❤️

      Happily Ever Nancy My baby boy is doing great! He is such a happy baby, with almost no cries and he sleeps 7-8 hours at night. 😄😄 I cant wait to get him started on solid food when he turns 4-5 months so that he can sleep 10-12hours every night 😂

  • @theproductivemommy8169

    And yes, I could never make the hoppy pillow work haha! After 3 kids I don’t have it in my arsenal of breastfeeding!

    • @happilyevernancy
      @happilyevernancy  4 года назад +1

      haha I know I thought I was doing something wrong not being able to make the pillow work but it's okay! Trial and error!

    This is a random question but I’m struggling , how often do you feed your lo? And with bottles? I’m just looking for some inspiration I’m wanting to just breastfeeding but she’s only on one side at a time so it’s all confusing and if feed her every two hours since she was born due to joundice so I’m just needing a schedule lol she’s 5 months old

  • @MainStreet_mami

    Nancy you should get the boppy breastfeeding pillow.🤱🏻

  • @midnightXwishes
    @midnightXwishes 4 года назад

    Boppy pillows aren’t meant to hold the baby to the breast. They are made for your arm so you don’t get to tired while holding the baby to the breast.
