This kit is actually what caused the TITAN SUBMARINE to collapse in the lase days!. Apparently a guy played 4 of these in his cigarette boat. The shockwave reached Canada east coast and the backwave combined with the wave from the boat sub were in phase exactly at the deep of the TITAN sub position. 😮
Once those bad boys get moving they actually drop to negative 4 ohms. The coils actually generate more energy than they use and you can disconnect your battery and alternator and just run your car off the subs until the bass stops.
My fondest memory of Pyramid brand was this little 4x5" Pyramid Gold amp that i gutted, and ran the speaker wires from my hidden US Amps through.. OG 90s troll style, once they got the confused look on their face i always said "man you haven't heard of these Pyramid Gold series?? HUGE power for their size!" 😂

That's "double" ZERO ohms resistance! Just kill'n me man. Never forget, I had just purchased my fist RF Punch 225.2 and was really excited when a friend came by and said, you paid how much for that? Look at this Royal Pyramid PB-545 I got. Puts out twice the power of your amp at half the price! I was like, yep, you did it again (snicker, snicker)!
they definitely capture that 80s/90s/2000s visual style from all the flea market specials. you might not be able to rattle the block, but at least you could look 'good' trying to cope.

My first car amp in the 80's was a Pyramid 4 channel rated 100x2 and 50x2 (yeah right!) I would like to see those funky pups in a proper enclosure and see what SPL you can get out of them until they let the smoke out.
I have the American Legacy LA790, it was given to me. Its the same amp just the "1200W" version, but the layout, and controls are all the same. And it still has the chrome. So I knew it would reach rated power. Also I ran it for years 2 ohm bridged. which my kicker amp of the same era won't do
A buddy of mine growing up had pyramid amps that were actually kinda impressive. They were purple and white. It was in the late 90s so hard to remember but I think they were four channel? He had one on each of his 15" Orion XTRs in a huge sealed box.
@@punishercivic5509 My brother had the Orion xtr's as well in a 3rd or 4th order bandpass box on a punch 200 bridged it pounded. He got a power 1000 at the end of the xtrs life cycle they were still good but he ended up with a couple JL w6 that could handle the power better.
