This kit is actually what caused the TITAN SUBMARINE to collapse in the lase days!. Apparently a guy played 4 of these in his cigarette boat. My first car amp in the 80's was a Pyramid 4 channel rated 100x2 and 50x2 (yeah right!) I blew one of the 50 watt channels on the first day I had it, but the rest of the amp powered a pair of 6x9s for a while until I got some "real" amps. Looks like they still haven't improved much. I would like to see those funky pups in a proper enclosure and see what SPL you can get out of them until they let the smoke out.

I had a few amps and EQ boosters and I definitely got my money's worth (and some). Pyramid gave me an entry level system that didn't break the bank. If it wasn't for them I'd probably wouldn't have anything at that moment. So no hate from me on Pyramid.

Yeah they were a little pricey and under preformed but I didn't know that until 2007 when I got a 1000w Kenwood to power my new pair of 12in CVR's in the ported Kicker box(silvers rule!) Most new amps offer alot more performance for the value but lack that COOl retro styling. A few expectations being stuff like the Soundstream 🕷️🕸️ and JP's with whacky colors.

    I HAVE A QUESTION, 3 1ohm amplifiers?
Can 3-1ohm amplifiers be wired to 2 4ohm Subwoofers if one of the 1ohm amplifiers be wired in reverse witch is the middle when I wire a +and- together at the subs, should I balance out really good?Y or N

My local car audio shop was entering its last few years around the time of this amp,. Anyways, they were pushing the brand "audiobahn" at the time, those amps were all chrome, ridiculous power and all had voltmeters on them. Def get your hands on an audiobahn if you can for the dyno brotha!

I found my old school JBL GTO 1200.1 amplifier. I had it hooked up to a single Kicker Comp VR 15 many years ago and I'm surprised it never blew. My buddy had a single L7 15 on a Kicker 1500 and he went through multiple speakers.
I was thinking about ordering a single American Bass XFL 15. Anyone have any experience with those?

These are impossible to blow. But the manufacturers were not allowed to keep making these, it killed their sales once people bought these bad boys.

Only question left is,would you consider 2 Sundown X15's as part trade on just the amp? I'm also prepared to throw in lots of cash and whatnot to acquire this piece of car audio perfection so I can decimate all...

I remember buying one of these amps back about 22 years ago I had it for a 4 months in my van with 2 12" Pyrmid subwoofers, the thing thumped till the 5th month driving around listening to some Master P Icecream man and I just remember looking in my rearview mirror and seeing a fire inside the top piece of clear glass/plastic needless to say I never owned that same amp ever again. I did have a EQ as well & crossover installed as well. lol

I'm surprised that amp didn't kill the amp dyno with all that power and completely drain your battery bank. And those subs will definitely open up a black hole and end humanity if you put them in a very small improperly built enclosure.
