Yes sir, thanx for this ride out of Texas. I don't get why there are a couple people who leave you a comment about how you talk, do they want you to say everything is all roses and beautiful out on the road, oh hell no. You, I like U being you. It doesn't matter what, how you talk, what you say, if the couple of people can't handle it, they should go and put on they're big boy pants! Pprrrrtttttt ! Stay safe out there, thanx again for doing what you do.................
I totally agree, my friend and thank you very much. I’m not gonna change what I say and how I talk just because some people on RUclips don’t like it. It is what it is. This is who I am and I don’t want to pretend to be something that I am not.
Money is better, not sure how much better. At least you can use the reefer on most of the loads you haul now when you can’t find a reefer load. Use to haul French fries out of the caves. You live in a great location for loads. We live up here in Michigan, with snow flakes today… Looking forward to that first reefer load, we will be watching. Keep talking on the videos, it’s great. Toby AKA Rooster
Thank you very much rooster. This area where I’m at can be great for loads it really can. I am hoping my first reefer load will be tomorrow because that’s when I pick up my reefer and I am hoping I will be able to find something. Which I think I should be able to. From what I see Sioux City Iowa is very good for reefer freight. I am hoping that video will be out by Friday. Because I have three or four videos ready to go right now. So I have to get those out before I can get the reefer video out.
I will be very happy when the day comes and I retire from this my friend. Hopefully, you are doing well, and are having fun away from all this mess over here on the road.
hi good to see your videos they do encourage me a lot i know that truck job or rather hauling jobs comes from deep down ones heart am also a trucker here in my country cheers buddy and be safe👍💪
It really does have to come from the heart if you want to do this job. Because this job is not easy. Thank you very much for watching my friend. I really appreciate it. 🙏🏼
Keep telling it the way that it is and the one shipper that I truly enjoyed working with was either Ch or Gh I'm sorry my friend, but it's been a while since I worked with them and if you get a chance to work with Hill Bros. In Omaha, NE they will treat you very good. Tell them that Patrick K told you to see if they had anything for you. That you need miles. My friend I am very happy with you and your channel.
Thank you very much buddy 🙏🏼 I did see some of Hill Bros loads posted on the load board but I didn’t call about it because they were going to the places where I don’t go. But as soon as they have something that works for me, I’ll definitely be giving them a call.
I'm from the UK. The guy who said that you wouldn't last five minutes in the UK doesn't know what he is talking about. Some of your states are bigger than my country. Ignore that loser. I like your content and love the look of your truck.

Good morning brother. I am sorry to hear that you had some trouble there in Dallas area. Sounds like that was quite a day for you, but I am glad to hear that you are out of it and hopefully you made it safely up to Oklahoma City. Stay safe out there my friend take care of yourself.
Hi, I used to drive trucks in the UK and all across Europe. I had the opportunity opportunity to drive OTR in the US, and I can tell you and your followers that driving trucks in the UK sucks compared to the US. Keep on trucking my friend and stay safe.
I bet it’s a lot worse over there than it is over here. Because it looks like you guys have a lot more traffic and the roads are a lot narrower than here.. stay safe out there brother I appreciate you watching 🙏🏼
I like your videos. I’ve been OTR 35 years. Do you know how many shippers and receivers I’ve told to fuk off? Unless you have set behind that steering wheel and done the job, they don’t have a clue what it’s like. My wife and I enjoy your talking. She use to think it t was just me when I tell her stories. Great insight on what we do. Thanks Bandit
I really appreciate you guys watching and thank you so much. My goal right here my friend is to show how it really is out here. And thank you for all the years and all the miles you have put in supplying this wonderful country. But unfortunately, we are supplying bunch of ungrateful bastards. It seems like nobody likes us out here.
You are 100% correct on ungrateful ppl. When do we get to see the reefer trailer? Looking forward to your next adventure. Pulled a lot out of Dallas and Fort Worth through the years. The killer was waiting and the lumper pay. Walmart is the worse. Be safe driver. Stay between the lines and rubber side down. Toby
I am picking up my reefer trailer tomorrow. I am on my way up to Nebraska right now to deliver a load tonight at midnight and after I get done here I’m gonna run up to Sioux City Iowa and pick up the trailer tomorrow. I know that it will be tougher than a dry van but I have to try it. I wanna see what it’s like. I’m hoping that with the reefer trailer I will be able to make a little bit more money.
😂 Yeah ... Coffeyville' Oklahoma ... somewhere I've been through; think I saw a big refinery off too one side of the road! The sky's and scenery I just love since I can't travel anymore. It's wonderful to be your own boss; OUR ass-kissin' days are OVER buddy!
My man. What's up Dawg. Good to see another video. U have me calling out law enforcement the Revenue Collectors. My girlfriend says thanks. Much nicer than what I usually refer to them as. LOL
Good morning my friend. That is what some of them really are. All they care about is writing tickets and collecting revenue. There are a lot of videos that I’ve seen like a news articles, where they say that some of these small towns function totally off of traffic tickets. Which I do not think is right.
Good morning my friend. Tandems slide back and forth on trailers and 5th wheel slides on truck so that you can distribute the weight around properly. If you are too heavy on your drive axle, you would move your trailer tandems towards front to put more weight on trailer tandems and take away some weight from truck drive axels. If you are too heavily on your trailer tandems, you would move those tandems towards back of the trailer. That would put some weight on drive axles and take away some weight front trailer tandems. Max weight most semi trucks can be is 80,000 pounds. 12,000 on steer/front wheels, 34,000 on drive axles and 34,000 on trailer tandems. You cannot be overweight on either of those. My next video that will come out today, I’m answering your question about brokers in that video. Hopefully I was able to answer your question little bit about tandem’s. I will also talk about this more in future video.
Copy that Bandit. We will look for all of them. My first comment I sent you was supposed to say my wife loves how you say revenue collectors. She just gets a kick out of it. Be safe out there. It just keeps getting harder to do the job. I’m hoping 5 more years. It’s tough. Be safe Bandit.
I haven’t really set time on when I think I will be leaving this industry because I don’t know how to do anything other than drive to be honest with you. I appreciate you watching brother and stay safe out there and take care of yourself.
I don’t feel that should be illegal. The rough conditions that these crossings are in, should be illegal. Some of these will tear your vehicle up if you go more than 5 MPH
BANDIT are you able to skip the broker to get a load I watch Justin from JUSTTRUCKIN channel and he seems to be getting denied lately I told him to bypass the broker and go directly to the shipper and tell them that he has a truck and trailer available I am not sure that's possible so that is why I am asking
It is possible to find direct shipper freight, but it is very hard for guys like myself and Justin because we don’t have many trucks. I run one truck myself and I have a few owner operators that run for me.. and a lot of these shippers. Want you to have extra trailers and a lot more trucks than me and Justin have.. had problems with brokers not wanting to give me loads that often. Only a few of them did not want to give me load because they say I need to have inspection done at the scale house..
Times are tough out here for us right now. As a matter of fact, they are the toughest that’s ever been since I can remember. But there’s still money to be made for the people that wanna work.. Snake House is a scale house where the department of transportation inspects find and weighs trucks. I just came up with that name because I thought it was funny. Instead of scale houses I called him snake houses.
Hé buddy great video Keep just doing and saying whats best for you Never chaince for anybody If the dont wanna here it FUCK THEM ALL BUDDY!!!!!! greatings from Holland Ps howmany hp in peterbilt
what hours can you drive in a week? UK hours: 9 hours in a day - this can be extended to 10 hours twice a week. 56 hours in a week. 90 hours in any 2 consecutive weeks. Not much chance for overtime to get rich.
11-Hour Driving Limit May drive a maximum of 11 hours after 10 consecutive hours off duty. 14-Hour Limit May not drive beyond the 14th consecutive hour after coming on duty, following 10 consecutive hours off duty. Off-duty time does not extend the 14-hour period. 30-Minute Driving Break Drivers must take a 30-minute break when they have driven for a period of 8 cumulative hours without at least a 30-minute interruption. The break may be satisfied by any non-driving period of 30 consecutive minutes (i.e., on-duty not driving, off-duty, sleeper berth, or any combination of these taken consecutively). 60/70-Hour Limit May not drive after 60/70 hours on duty in 7/8 consecutive days. A driver may restart a 7/8 consecutive day period after taking 34 or more consecutive hours off duty.
@@rosewhite--- this truck isn’t doing too bad on fuel economy, to be honest with you, considering it has aerodynamics of a brick. I can go 6.5 miles with this truck on 1 gallon of fuel, which comes out to be 3.8 Liters. A lot of these new trucks claim to get around 8 miles for 1 gallon of fuel.. I do not want that because new trucks have a lot of problems that my truck will never have.
@@OTRBandit uk artics aka semis: Artics running at 44 tonnes will do around 8 mpg, 9 mpg if you have an aerodynamic trailer, a bit less if a tipper or container, and UK gallons are 10% bigger than US. Poor UK economy is due to heavy traffic, short distance between traffic lights or other halts, too many stops, too many miles in traffic jams.
I don’t know if you noticed or not but the 4th flange down on the far driver side column of your grill looks like it is bent and looks missing in your videos
I really appreciate it. Thank you so much brother. Diet is going great thank God. I brought some fresh and seasoned chicken from the house that I will be cooking in the truck this week.
@@psccomputersmissouri I had big problem with Red Bull before because I was drinking like 6 to 8 cans every day. Now I only drink one or two a week. And honestly, considering how much of that junk I was drinking. I’m lucky to still be alive.
Hey Bandit one other thing. I heard the comment about the UK Truck driver and let me tell you this. Our Son and his Fam live in England and we have been there a few times. Their Trucks are called Lorries and their "Interstates" are called Motorways. They are about the width of any Rural American Side road! They move goods and keep the UK moving but they couldn't hold a candle to You and fellow truckers and what you all do in this Country to keep it running! So a haters gonna hate but you all are appreciated.

I think on your game it doesn’t say what truck it actually is because of copyright issues. This truck is Peterbilt 389 pride and class edition. I am originally from Bosnia. @@OTRBandit I'm happy u love the United States it is a pretty beautiful country in most States especially the scenery like the Pacific Northwest region like Washington State Oregon and some parts of California lol yeah I agree with u on that we learn our mistakes and take responsibility 4 our actions but I haven't had anymore problems with the cops in Oregon since I wanna say about 2015 I almost died in our trailer because supposedly my wife told 911 that I took some ambines and pain relieves pms she told them that I od and I guess the ambulance took me 2 the hospital with lights and sirens but I don't remember doing that but I haven't didn't that stupid shit since the reason I'm mad at cops is because the sheriff pepper sprayed me I got it twice in my life back then I was in a very dark place but I'm over it lol buddy I hope u have a good day my friend stay safe
Im gonna go this way to save money. .The only way ur gonna save money is trade out that flat nose @ 5.9 to 6.9 MPG & get a T680 or Cascadia and get 8.5 to 9 MPG which could save you $36,000 per year
Question Sir...Have you had a bad experience or two, involving the police? It's funny that you call them "Revenue Collectors." Anyway, I've somehow found your videos on RUclips and I've been checking them out. I recently commented "positively" on one of your videos, where you were in the caves. I absolutely love your truck! Incidentally, I am a retired police officer 😂 and now, I'm a truck driver as a 2nd career. I ran over the road for awhile and now I'm running a day cab, to be close to home.
Thankfully, I have never had bad experience with cops. I follow the rules, and I don’t drive very fast, I keep my truck maintained and clean and my trailer and they leave me alone. But I do hear some horror stories, and I hear some horror stories online. Majority of cops are excellent people and very very good at what they do but there’s just enough bad ones out there that make all of them look bad unfortunately. There are many cops out there that work to serve and protect people, and not just extort money. Like my youngest kid said she wants to be a police officer whenever she grows up. I asked her why do you want to be police officer when you grow up? She said because she wants to help people. And I believe majority of police officers are like that. They are out here to help people. But some of them are not out here to help people, but they are out here to actually bully people around and I’m sure you know this because you are a retired police officer and you might have seen it firsthand.
The Revenue Collectors are the Local and County Cops 👮♀️ that write ✍️ truckers from Out of State Bogus tickets 🎫 hoping they just pay the ticket. Since truckers have been under the STATES JURISDICTION it’s been a lot better, some local jurisdictions will still try, especially with scared Rookie drivers, because they don’t know all the Revenue will go to the State, but only if the driver fights it.. NEVER just pay a ticket; unless it’s written by a STATE TROOPER , A ticket by a State Trooper is a whole different Ballgame. 😢, just pay it.
@Hattricks68 ...Wow!! My question really touched off a hot button topic here. You're both correct, in that there are good and bad police officers out there. There are good and bad truck drivers, good and bad doctors, etc...etc...etc...I hope that your daughter stays innocent and gets to become a police officer, if that is where her heart takes her. As for the guys/gals out there that write tickets to truck drivers, unfortunately it's their job, in SOME cases. Not every police officer gets sent to the schools that teach them everything that they need to know about truck enforcement. And as far as the comment about local officers compared to State Troopers, I'll say this. DON'T JUST PAY THE FINE, NO MATTER WHO WRITES THE CITATION. If you're willing to go to court or hire a lawyer to do it, see if you can get the court to throw it out or at the very least, get rid of the points. As truck drivers, your license IS your source of employment. In the meantime, stay safe out there boys and girls! You might be out there to make money for yourself but remember this, you ARE providing a huge service for our Country as well.
😂🤣, 10-4 on the bad Shippers and Receivers. Say it like it is, this ain’t Microsoft it’s Trucking, we’re the Grunts of the industry, leave that polite Suck-Up crap to the Salesmen and the Office Computer Geeks.

I appreciate that buddy. Thank you very much. 🙏🏼 seems like a lot of people think they could do a better job, even though they have never stepped foot inside of a truck like this..
Those Peterbilts are no joke when it comes to size! They don't fit into small spaces like the other other trucks do.

We live up here in Michigan, with snow flakes today…
Looking forward to that first reefer load, we will be watching. Keep talking on the videos, it’s great.

Man I'm so sorry you had to see that passing by that fatally. I don't miss driving tractor trailers.
I will be very happy when the day comes and I retire from this my friend. Hopefully, you are doing well, and are having fun away from all this mess over here on the road.

Thank you very much buddy 🙏🏼 I did see some of Hill Bros loads posted on the load board but I didn’t call about it because they were going to the places where I don’t go. But as soon as they have something that works for me, I’ll definitely be giving them a call.

Say what again. Say WHAT again. I dare ya. I double dare you... 🤣🤣

MONEY!!! Name of the game.
You would be correct sir.... 35E goes thru St Paul, and 35W goes thru Minneapolis, merging back into 35 N and S of the cities...
It’s been about six years since I’ve been up that way so I couldn’t remember hundred percent. Thank you for clarifying and confirming that for me.
Good morning Sir. Can you explain the tandem slide please?
Very informative Sir - I'm watching your next video right now 👍 thank you@@OTRBandit

I have some videos of that too. I just haven’t recorded them often like that. It seems like this camera position shows allot of scenery up ahead.
I'm just curious, no hard feelings. Why do you feel the multiple train crossings should be illegal. Love the videos
I don’t feel that should be illegal. The rough conditions that these crossings are in, should be illegal. Some of these will tear your vehicle up if you go more than 5 MPH
Ah okay, thanks for clarifying. Yeah they do suck

Just say it! Don’t hold your tongue about anything. If you don’t know what I’m thinking you’re not close enough.

LOts of talk of American indusry shutting down but there sure seems to be a lot still working well!
What's a snake house?
Times are tough out here for us right now. As a matter of fact, they are the toughest that’s ever been since I can remember. But there’s still money to be made for the people that wanna work.. Snake House is a scale house where the department of transportation inspects find and weighs trucks. I just came up with that name because I thought it was funny. Instead of scale houses I called him snake houses.

what hours can you drive in a week?
UK hours: 9 hours in a day - this can be extended to 10 hours twice a week. 56 hours in a week. 90 hours in any 2 consecutive weeks.
Not much chance for overtime to get rich.
11-Hour Driving Limit
May drive a maximum of 11 hours after 10 consecutive hours off duty.
14-Hour Limit
May not drive beyond the 14th consecutive hour after coming on duty, following 10 consecutive hours off duty. Off-duty time does not extend the 14-hour period.
30-Minute Driving Break
Drivers must take a 30-minute break when they have driven for a period of 8 cumulative hours without at least a 30-minute interruption. The break may be satisfied by any non-driving period of 30 consecutive minutes (i.e., on-duty not driving, off-duty, sleeper berth, or any combination of these taken consecutively).
60/70-Hour Limit
May not drive after 60/70 hours on duty in 7/8 consecutive days. A driver may restart a 7/8 consecutive day period after taking 34 or more consecutive hours off duty.
@@OTRBandit Thanks.
Does that big flat plate below the bumper hurt the fuel economy?
@@rosewhite--- this truck isn’t doing too bad on fuel economy, to be honest with you, considering it has aerodynamics of a brick. I can go 6.5 miles with this truck on 1 gallon of fuel, which comes out to be 3.8 Liters. A lot of these new trucks claim to get around 8 miles for 1 gallon of fuel.. I do not want that because new trucks have a lot of problems that my truck will never have.
@@OTRBandit uk artics aka semis:
Artics running at 44 tonnes will do around 8 mpg, 9 mpg if you have an aerodynamic trailer, a bit less if a tipper or container, and UK gallons are 10% bigger than US.
Poor UK economy is due to heavy traffic, short distance between traffic lights or other halts, too many stops, too many miles in traffic jams.
@@rosewhite--- that is not bad. Wish my truck could get eight or 9 miles a gallon but it is what it is buddy.

Partner, 55 MPH in rain like that and Metropolitan traffic...A lot of idiots out there that can't drive...
Way too many crazies out here that don’t know how to act whenever it’s raining.
@@Hattricks68 You said it a lot better than I did my friend. Thank you for that.
@@OTRBandit 😎🙏🏼
