To be fair, Wren is actually firing the real way pros do, you don't want to hold your draw long, you use instinct And I mean, that phone is a crappy junker, apple uses super cheap parts haha. He can just pay the deductible, get the replacement from Asurion. Or if no insurance, well, pay off any financing and new phone time.
Judging by how close Wren's arrows are to each other, his technique is very consistent. Which is funny considering he doesn't really aim and just pulls :D
I mean, if only the screen is broken pay Asurion 29 bucks and they send a van over and pop a new screen on, on the spot, in like 15 minutes. If it's fully toast, pay the deductible and have a new phone sent out in about 2/3 days, send back your broken one. Insurance on phones is as super useful and needed as cases haha, whether you're VZW/ATT/Tmobes it's all the same. I got my S22 ultra repaired the same day. It's only 7 bucks a month for me on vzw for basic insurance (the 10-15-20 options are a ripoff, just give you tech support)
Tax inspector: So how did your work phone get broken? Nick: I let a guy shoot it with an arrow. Tax inspector: At work? Nick: Yes. Tax inspector: And was that action business related or private? Nick: Business related of course. Tax Insoector: How is shooting an iPhone with an arrow business related? Nick: It's my job be a professional moron among professional morons. Now, do I get my tax reduction? Tax inspector: No. Moron.
1:10 Wren: "You know what happened to our last intern who played archery with us? "LOL Bridger you should run for your life while you still have time!~ LOL
Nick, it's so cool that you did this festival, all my respect to you! I actually learned about it only a few weeks ago, and I instantly became fascinated by the idea. I hope Corridor will enter one, I'd really love to see what y'all can come up with
I love how these videos are set up like a T.V show where there's the main plot, and then the subplot which in this case would be the 48 hour film festival
Niko: "Remember safety, don't shoot the phone, it's not funny to shoot the funny, it's not goofy to shoot the phone, don't shoot the phone" Also Niko: Shoots the phone. lol And Nick's face at the end, poor guy.
Flick switch, get sweeping shot into the insides like one of those gun mechanical animations before the bullet shoots to see the entire process. Except its super steampunk
Its such a cool shot filming from the perspective of the target facing towards the shooter. I did some videos for my archery club last year that were pretty cool, getting the noise of the release and the arrow hitting really added to the video.
I have been doing 48 hour film projects for the past 3 years in Buffalo. The movies are up on RUclips. It is what got me into filmmaking. Lots of stress but it's fun. I would love to see what Corridor could pull off.
As someone who's done 5 48's, get everything before you start, that'll make it so much easier, and have someone for everything, the last 48's we've had 18 people on crew, 4 editors, and prep for setbacks
Well the thing is if you are shooting a real hunting or war bow (especially the historic ones) the tension is so high you can't hold it for more than a few moments anyway. Of course sport bows usually have relatively low tension so there is a lot of room for aiming before releasing.
With a recurve like they are using yes, the correct technique is to release during the draw in one smooth motion! Recurve is very much instinct shooting.
Man, watching this makes me want to play this game soooo much. Covid has kept me away from the range and my archery buddies. I miss messing around like this.
The 48-hour talk was relatable. "I'm never doing this again!" xD But if you never have heard of this before, definitely check it out! It loads of fun and imo you learn way more there then you'll do in a regular ol' film school! It is organized al over the world. I can't imagine that there isn't a city close to you where this doesn't take place at least once a year. You don't have to be good at it. Everyone can enter and everyone does enter!
48 festivals are awesome. My team and I have made 9 entries for the 48 Hour Film Project so far and we've been loving it (well, maybe not loving it while we're making it, but the final result is always awesome). If you ever want to see any of our entries, we've got a playlist of them on our channel (seems like an appropriate time for shameless self promotion).
Hey Nick! I think you explained the importance of the 48 very well. We met briefly the 28th and you mentioned that the last days had been busy. Was the 48h shoot the reason? Anyway, thanks for the chat and say hi to Chapman!
Wow! Nick! 48HFP brother, good to meet you on the inter webs.. ;p I had an amazing 48Hour Project in The Netherlands last weekend, something with a musical, a crane, and a steadicam on that crane.. screening is tomorrow, let's hope for the best! Hope to see you in the world finale! :)
I really wonder if for a 48hrs filming contest, you go out of your mind just as much as when doing a gamdev 48hrs jam. Especially if you do things alone and you need to do all the art, design and music(maybe if there's time! ahah) by yourself. It's sooo frustrating and tiring and it puts so much pressure on you, but at the end it's soooo rewarding to actually complete your idea and showing it to others :D
I like the 48 hour idea we tried a video game one once; I don't have enough friends into film to really try it out but I want to go see some end results.
You know corridor has to have a couple spare phones sitting around. Or some spare camera capable of live streaming. But you also gotta know, that was truly Nicks phone. I don't doubt that for a second.
That should be Brett's catch phrase whenever he wins an argument or beats someone in a challenge. Or just his overall phrase. "flew too close to the son"
I was on a crew for a 48 hour film festival this summer, sadly the film wasn't turned in on time. I'll definitely consider picking up a minimal crew of close friends for next year!
You have to do a 48 Hour Film with Corridor! And live stream the whole weekend! :D I did four 48 hour films. Its great fun. Oh, but the worst was with a big crew. We didn't even finish that one.
I don't understand how this wasn't: Shoot the phone, you have to buy a new phone? Burritos? That's not nearly the same. Even though burritos can be delicious...
Nick was upgrading his phone anyway. And I'm sure there was some compensation for Nick that occurred that wasnt shown in the video. Do you really think Niko being the guy he is would only get Nick a burrito for doing this?
That film challenge sounds really awesome. I'd really love to try something like that out one day, even if there aren't any similar festivals in my country xD
Whooohoooo! My name made it into the video at 5:39! (Swamy) :D I Shouldn't be so happy but i am! Feels like Ive been featured in a video! :D :D :D Now I need to get a life and a girl friend...
i haven't done a 48-hour, but at the Student Television Network convention earlier this year in Anaheim, me and my school's top video production class did a short film in 8 hours, and a music video in six. SUPER stressful, but the end results were great!
Lol pretty good guys, nicks face😂 I'm wanna those people who haven't even started the video, I already love it, thanks for another one guys, may the world love you and your goddam juicy archery skeels🤣
Niko: We won’t break your phone
Also Niko: Breaks phone
Jake: We won't break your bow, Niko
Also Jake: Breaks (well, splinters a tiny bit) Niko's bow.
Jake: All my life I’ve waited to play the gentlemen’s game. Real stakes.
Niko: *immediately destroys the phone with his first arrow*
"Flew too close to the, son."
-Brett
yeah, what was that about? have i missed something?
oh thats too good
Knut you missed everything son, dam son.
I laughed my ass off oh my god
there was some drama between Brett and Corridor.
Nick seemed genuinely sad at the end lmao
Most likely just for show. He already explained he was planning on getting another.
Maybe he wanted to sell it. BUT atleast he got some burritos
Maybe he didn't get to backup all his voice recordings
Maybe he needed a phone for his trip that evening XD
Greg Barnes Well Nick did say that he was going off with Sam for a trip over that weekend
Everyone else: LOL THAT WAS AMAZING!
Nick: ...That was my phone?...
Corridor owes him a new phone
@@victoramoda8413 well too bad he's only getting a burrito.
Nick looked like he was almost in tears
To be fair, Wren is actually firing the real way pros do, you don't want to hold your draw long, you use instinct
And I mean, that phone is a crappy junker, apple uses super cheap parts haha.
He can just pay the deductible, get the replacement from Asurion.
Or if no insurance, well, pay off any financing and new phone time.
Judging by how close Wren's arrows are to each other, his technique is very consistent. Which is funny considering he doesn't really aim and just pulls :D
The stakes should definitely have been "Whoever breaks the phone, immediately buys Nick a new phone".
I mean, if only the screen is broken pay Asurion 29 bucks and they send a van over and pop a new screen on, on the spot, in like 15 minutes. If it's fully toast, pay the deductible and have a new phone sent out in about 2/3 days, send back your broken one. 13:10 Seth Rogen shows up
Jake Ledoux it really sounds like Seth Rogan.
lmao
Carmichael is secretly Seth Rogan
Rogen*
canada nicolas whoops
7:22 that grouping tho god damn Wren
13:30 at half speed, listen to Wren say "You shot a cellphone with an arrow, man."
It's great.
Watch the end where they say “What are you gonna do? That was your phone!” “Yeah” at half speed. Now THATS great lol
WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO? BAHAHA WATCH IT AT QUARTER SPEED
This channel needs more Nick, that is all.
Shoulda used a carbon fiber phone. I've been told that that stuff is indestructible.
Kraft Macaroni bahahahaha.
I hear its made out of the same stuff as diamonds!
They use carbon fiber Nokia 3310's to cut diamonds.
*D O B Y*
I heard aluminiun can make you dumber?
Nick seemed destroyed...
Bram Sliepen “yeah”
Just like his phone
not as destroyed as his phone
“its not funny to shoot the phone.” oh quite the contrary, it’s hilarious
Well at least Nick gets a new phone.
It was business related so he could write it off on his taxes. :D
Joshua Walters you suck
Ya boii why you gotta be like that
I would love to see the report, I need a new phone my last one has arrow sticking through it
Why though?
Tax inspector: So how did your work phone get broken?
Nick: I let a guy shoot it with an arrow.
Tax inspector: At work?
Nick: Yes.
Tax inspector: And was that action business related or private?
Nick: Business related of course.
Tax Insoector: How is shooting an iPhone with an arrow business related?
Nick: It's my job be a professional moron among professional morons. Now, do I get my tax reduction?
Tax inspector: No. Moron.
Jake is not Even in the position to bet , dude you still have like 3 years of push UPS xD
he can eat his burrito while doing pushups
No wonder he pulled that arrow out of the wall so easily
13:15 nick doesn’t seem all that thrilled at the prospect of a free burrito, lol
1:10 Wren: "You know what happened to our last intern who played archery with us? "LOL
Bridger you should run for your life while you still have time!~ LOL
Love such callbacks, hehe.
12:18 no one beat that shot, no one got any closer.... Therefore Lil'Billy deserves a prize!! Giant stuffed animal?
Wren’s bow shooting looks so fluent and natural. His grouping is excellent as well.
Nick, it's so cool that you did this festival, all my respect to you!
I actually learned about it only a few weeks ago, and I instantly became fascinated by the idea. I hope Corridor will enter one, I'd really love to see what y'all can come up with
Shouldn't mess with Niko. Man. He smiles alot but is the best at archery.
even though i have only been watching since yesterday but Wren is my favorite.
SAME
RIP phone ☠️
Even tho Niko was the one who lost and had to buy borritos for everyone Nick was the one that really lost here. R.I.P. Nicks phone.
These vlogs always make my day a tad bit better. Thanks fam.
13:02 look at Nicks reaction he's like: What the hell Niko!!!
Carmichael: That was your phone!
Nick: ...yeah...
“LITTLE Billy! Get it righ!”
That’s wild, he was only a few millimeters away from not hitting the phone
I love how these videos are set up like a T.V show where there's the main plot, and then the subplot which in this case would be the 48 hour film festival
Niko: "Remember safety, don't shoot the phone, it's not funny to shoot the funny, it's not goofy to shoot the phone, don't shoot the phone"
Also Niko: Shoots the phone. lol
And Nick's face at the end, poor guy.
why is it called corridor digital store and not corridors storeador
Storeador Digital
Corristore
you all get the heck outta my office
I hope you all chip in to help nick get a new one, poor dude looked destroyed at the end.
Awesome! Thanks so much for uploading it here!
I was super bummed when I missed the live stream
7:36 fidget cube
I smell a new anime video
Anime fidget cubes!
This is an old thing.
Mr.Awesome Animations o
Flick switch, get sweeping shot into the insides like one of those gun mechanical animations before the bullet shoots to see the entire process. Except its super steampunk
Its such a cool shot filming from the perspective of the target facing towards the shooter. I did some videos for my archery club last year that were pretty cool, getting the noise of the release and the arrow hitting really added to the video.
Wren has some pretty BPPE (big Peter Pan energy)
Finally you published the video :D Sad and watched the facebook livestream and now I have just been waiting for the video :D Love your content guys!
I had a blast watching these live streams!
The guy who edits a jumpscare right when the arrow hits should get an oscar and go straight to federal prison
I have been doing 48 hour film projects for the past 3 years in Buffalo. The movies are up on RUclips. It is what got me into filmmaking. Lots of stress but it's fun. I would love to see what Corridor could pull off.
Just what I was waiting for! Always look forward to corridor, Sam and Niko and node!
Lol every time somebody says "sun" or "son" Brett pops up. Top quality inside memes
I want to give Nick a hug. That face of defeat though.
As someone who's done 5 48's, get everything before you start, that'll make it so much easier, and have someone for everything, the last 48's we've had 18 people on crew, 4 editors, and prep for setbacks
Gotta love the positive people who watched the livestream "They are missing on purpose"
Truly a faithful audience of good people :))))
Nicks face at 13:01 killed me.
48 hour film festivals are awesome. I've participated in the one we have in Finland 6 times, you learn something new every time.
but the way wren shoots is the correct way right? you're not supposed to just hold it, the skilled archers I've seen all release instantly
These guys seem like they have so much fun on the daily.
For the film challenge. A script supervisor is amazing to have.
And that prooves again that Wren is absolutely adorable
Man, watching this makes me want to play this game soooo much. Covid has kept me away from the range and my archery buddies. I miss messing around like this.
poor Nick just looks so crushed that someone actually hit his phone
Where’s that Johnyboz award these days?
Does this mean Niko is buying Nick new phone?
They shall fuse and become "Nicko."
Kong Vimolchalao na he's getting him a new borito
The 48-hour talk was relatable. "I'm never doing this again!" xD

Been doing 48H for 4 years now as an editor, every time I do ask myself 'WHY DO I DO THIS!'. But in the end its always worth it!
13:18 nick starts literally crying and it cuts
48 festivals are awesome. My team and I have made 9 entries for the 48 Hour Film Project so far and we've been loving it (well, maybe not loving it while we're making it, but the final result is always awesome).

"lill billy get it right” XD
I've been watching since lightsaber rims with FreddieW; aw man you guys are great! You guys are the epitome of ideal livelihood.
Where can I watch Nick's film from the 48 hour festival?
Filmklat I would guess it's not posted since most competitions don't allow them to be put online until after the screenings/awards.
Brandon Chiarmonte but he showed some clips from it!
Brandon Chiarmonte Aah okay that makes sense. Thanks!
Wren with the stacked instinctive shots aww yeah.
I really wonder if for a 48hrs filming contest, you go out of your mind just as much as when doing a gamdev 48hrs jam. I'm loving this Nick heavy video.
Sorry about your phone Nick but you’re a champ for letting them use it for the sake of the stream/video
Thank god we're getting merch reruns
I like the 48 hour idea we tried a video game one once; I don't have enough friends into film to really try it out but I want to go see some end results.
Ah! The perks of working for Sam and Niko. Having your stuff taken away and shot. LoL.
Nick looked so sad, when he was looking over wrens shoulder 😂😂😂
Wren is one of my favorite people, he's a funny person 😂
You know corridor has to have a couple spare phones sitting around. Or some spare camera capable of live streaming. But you also gotta know, that was truly Nicks phone. I don't doubt that for a second.
That should be Brett's catch phrase whenever he wins an argument or beats someone in a challenge. Or just his overall phrase. "flew too close to the son"
After all that, the safety meeting, the warnings given by Niko...
...then
.......
..........
.............
GODDAMNIT NIKO
Knowing Corridor you'd start off pretty strong, but it'd end up taking a whole week to shoot, and then a whole other week to edit.
I was on a crew for a 48 hour film festival this summer, sadly the film wasn't turned in on time. I'll definitely consider picking up a minimal crew of close friends for next year!
Nicks face when they showed the phone was priceless, you could just see his face drop
You have to do a 48 Hour Film with Corridor! And live stream the whole weekend! :D I did four 48 hour films. Its great fun. Oh, but the worst was with a big crew. We didn't even finish that one.
Your 48 hour film festival is like my theatre clubs 24 hour theater festival. 24 hours to write, rehearse, direct, then play in a hand written show
awesome vid guys i love your vids
I don't understand how this wasn't: Shoot the phone, you have to buy a new phone? Burritos? That's not nearly the same.
Even though burritos can be delicious...
Can always drown those sorrows with burritos
Because then only one person benefits from the loss. With burritos... everyone wins
Nick was upgrading his phone anyway. And I'm sure there was some compensation for Nick that occurred that wasnt shown in the video. Do you really think Niko being the guy he is would only get Nick a burrito for doing this?

So excited for the sale man! Yayy
Whooohoooo! My name made it into the video at 5:39! (Swamy) :D I Shouldn't be so happy but i am! Feels like Ive been featured in a video! :D :D :D
Now I need to get a life and a girl friend...

6:35 I guess Wren was hungry....... for an arrow. LOL
Wren actually has the best technique for that style of bow. You never want to hold a full draw
Im super excited for the Friday merch! Been eyein that dnd skeleton shirt 👀💀
please buy nick a new phone. he was so nice about this
Wren: I do dumb things sometimes
Me: Sometimes? 😂
I’m doing a 48hr film challenge this weekend! Already feeling the stress
Nick's mix of sad and angry reaction due to he doesn't expect of all the people, Niko will destroy his phone.
Lol pretty good guys, nicks face😂
I'm wanna those people who haven't even started the video, I already love it, thanks for another one guys, may the world love you and your goddam juicy archery skeels🤣
All of the push ups Jake did are useful enough to pull the arrow out of the metal door
Awww....nick is so sad......my heart died alittle when I saw his face
niko didn't just shoot the phone... he straight up hit the camera
