Love this, thank you.... I don't own an HG yet... but hoping to be able to get one eventually.... so I'm basically torturing myself watching your lessons... lol... love that you start with the basics as I'm considering getting a nerdy-gurdy which will require some serious knowledge...
The nerdy is cool to start with :)
Got my hurdy gurdy basic today, now I’m watching your amazing videos 😁👍
This is the first time I got a notification since I found this channel (I found it the other day) I didn't expect to see a new video this soon.
I probably should be putting this in that video but, thanks for the video on workshop medieval, before I watched that I was thinking about getting one, and didn't know how bad they actually are. Now I'm looking into getting a nerdy gurdy.
Awesome!
Sergio, is this video mirrored, or did you recently get a left-handed gurdy? 😅
Its probably mirrored I did not even noticed 🤣
@@Sergio.GonzalezPrats I wondered about that: I didn't know if it was deliberate, to help beginning players.
Me encantan tus videos!
So my Aplo finally arrived and I noticed a small black tube with golden caps, connecting the tail piece and the bridge of the melody strings from below (with the caps sticking out the top of the tail piece and left of the bridge). I didnt find out what thats for yet and would appreciate if you could help me out.
Thank you , I’m new to this HG world. Enjoying your videos very much. I do have one question while watching your videos you seem to have a problem with altarwind hurdy gurdys could you let me know what the issues are with their instruments so I can make an informed decision. Thank you
Hello, yes they are very problematic, I explained this a lot of times on the hurdy gurdy comunity facebook group, please join and type altarwind on the search function ;)
But short answer don't buy altarwind unless you find something second hand for 500 usd
@@Sergio.GonzalezPrats thank you
That fb group also has lists compiled with trusted HGs of all price ranges, so I can definitely recommend having a look there before investing in anything.
Also love your username 🖖
So wait... should I not get an Aplo? I'm new to music in general, but I am determined. I am willing to spend a decent amount on a good instrument, but I'd like to get something that I can learn but also grow with.
Hey Cody, it depends, I always recommend Aplo but send me an email to zanfoneando@gmail.com and we can talk about your case no problem :)
Hi and thank you for all of the sharing of knowledge, i do enjoy all the videos. I've been trying to place your lovely accent, it's boggling my brain 😂 sometimes you sound Italian then Scandinavian maybe lol where are you from? I thought with your Thors hammer and your Vegvesir tattoo etc, scandy somewhere, but the Norse community is so vast, I'm Norse Pagan but born and live in the UK with Italian, Polish, Romanian and Scandinavian ancestry.
Hello, I'm from Barcelona ;)
@@Sergio.GonzalezPrats oh 😂 I'm so sorry. My ear for music is obviously better than accents ✌️
@@3houndrecordings italian was close enough!
@@Sergio.GonzalezPrats 😂 you are too kind
HolaSergio, ¿de qué constructor es la zanfona que estás usando en este vídeo?
Sedo García ;)
@@Sergio.GonzalezPrats gracias por responder!
