You got that right! When that drummer starts going for it, the best thing to do is to hang on to your ass with both hands! They've been one of my favorites for a long time. Sadly, when I lived in The City, I never had the chance to hear them live.
Seen them a few times IIRC. Once at a street fair, another at a County Fair. The greatest was at the Paramount Theater in Oakland way back then. D Jenkins was going up & down the aisles while ripping on the solo to Ocean Breeze with a Gibson Gold Top Lester. I'll never forget it Very Fine Bay Area Band...
Just saw "them" (Corey and David and their new bandmates), and last night's show was every bit as good, maybe even better in some ways, than this fantastic performance! They're in their mid-70s now, although you wouldn't know it when they're on stage, so if you get a chance to go see them, DEFINITELY do it! You won't regret it!
@@twhit4321 You're welcome and good luck! They don't play out a lot so I definitely always keep my eyes open for them. As far as I can tell they are still based out of the Sacramento area so they tend to do more shows in the greater Bay Area but they definitely play all over the country and world.

Got to meet Dave Jenkins backstage and we chatted all things music for a while. Great guy....he gave me Steve's email address and Steve and I had a couple of email exchanges.....mostly questions I had regarding that awesome sounding Camco drum kit he played at the time. He answered every single question down to the last detail. You're lucky to have him as a neighbor!!

Are they the members when the album “reflector” was released? I think this time was the greatest. Guitarist Angelo and bassist John were marvelous, too. In particular, I like John’s performance.
@@fr3ak1shh well I was only looking at the first track, that was def a good mix between the live video and the recording. The rest of the video looks pretty live. So mostly, it's a great piece of editing.
Me too. And Patti......saw Bud with Patti in It's A Beautiful Day, twice. Amazing musician, and of course Patti was so mesmerizing. Just thankful I saw them both in their prime.
I knew Bud in the 90's when he lived in San Juan Bautista. When he first started to come to the Monterey area to jam, all of the local hot shot musicians would line up just to talk to him at his gigs.
So great to see crowd with no phones, selfie sticks, bottled water, etc,,actually watching and enjoying a real concert.
