I love yelling” swing batta batta swing”, at spring training. The sound of cowhide slappin leather brings out my inner twelve year old self. I miss the sixties. 😞
The way they measure the speed has changed since the 90s. The guns used to measure the speed around the plate or just in front. Now it’s measured closer to the release point. This is why there’s so many guys throwing faster than ever before. It’s a gimmick partly
And this is why modern starters can't go more than 5 innings. Everyone wants to be Nolan Ryan without having the natural talent and without putting in the hard work.
bro that's why I say people including myself have no idea at all what it would be like to be a MLB infielder.... looks like a routine grounder... it's 110 MPH.... that's hot and in sure not fun to handle 🔥
Telling that none of these pitches resulted in a swing/miss or take strike. When you can throw 104 the batter knows you’re gonna try to throw 104. Also seems to be difficult to pinpoint extreme velo stuff.
Yeah I don't think so lol. The human body doesn't allow to go to 110mph. We MAY see 108 once, but I seriously doubt it. We'll never see 110. Dudes arm will fall off.
Improper grammar, "hardest" pitches, incorrect. "Fastest" pitches, correct! It's not how "hard" you are throwing, it's how "fast" you are throwing. Please don't kill me, I'm just a messenger.....Thank you.....
Wild that not one of these pitches resulted in a swing and miss
Scary stuff right....
Right?!
I was literally about to say that. Crazy how the game has changed and hitters are just causal about anyone hitting triple digits.
They throw the ball so hard it creates its own gravity field and can't actually miss.
If these guys know a fastball is coming their probably gonna make contact.
Hitters these days just casually making contact and taking 104 mph pitches 😂
These mfs sitting high fast ball likes it’s The Show 23
My God the sheer velocity is impressive but the movement is crazy !!!
My boy Duran!!!! He's my favorite rookie pitcher to watch this year!
You gotta watch Yennier
Yennier cons is doing bad
@@darthnihilus307 I sent that two months ago numb nuts
“The Helsly zone” sounds even better when u have been a cardinal fan your whole life
Go Cards!
I was at the game for his debut when he was just another reliever so it was whatever. He was sitting at 95-97, damn how things have changed.
Go cards
Same
Same, go cards!
The number of Cardinals is crazy. And crazy that ex-Cardinal Wong was a batter.

Sports science predictions in 1998 were that by 2050 pitchers would be hitting the 120 range. So far they’re on the right track.
And Ryan Housley had an Immaculate inning this year he is the best
Tennessee collage kid says hold my beer
The tails on those pitches are nasty
Earlier this year, Emmanuel Clase threw a 102 MPH fastball high and in to Bobby Witt Jr, and JR hit it for a walk off slam
I took Duran deep in the minor leagues! Lol he was only 97-99 then 😂😂got it on video too
I gotta see that. Where can I?
Bro Is capping 😭
🧢
Love Doval, San Francisco all the way
Expect to see Jordan Hicks on this list every year; man the mlb is lucky he hasn’t gotten it together yet
Damn! my guy Andres Munoz out here throwing 103 and didn't make the list. Pitchers are getting crazy! thanks for the great content!
MLB 23 pitchers have entered the chat
Respect to Jordan hinks for throwing 104 basically straight down the middle
Helsey 💪💪💪

Who let grandpa get on the computer unsupervised?
you think throwing 104 isn’t showing hard work?
Bruh what?
I think being able to throw 104 shows both talent and hard work
Wdym “without putting in the hard work”
What No Edwin DIaz?? was throwing heat 104 MPH he should have made this list as well
You alright man? Voice not sounding its best right now.
I was a little sick when I recorded this but feeling better!
@@madethecut good, I'm glad your feeling better
this reminds me of that one homerun by Ken Griffey Jr, my favorite.
Imagine hitting it off the end of the bat
Chane up i cant make contact 😂
The best pitch is a well placed fast ball.
-Dusty Baker
I understand why there’s a lot of Tommy John injuries
Cardinals got three ima cardinals fan yessir
Now show Maddox throwing 92 and making people wiff by a foot lol
Lets go twins
Bro said joe-ahn
I bet these guys can punch like an ox
Bro sped them up lmao
Damn r u sick?

And this is why they say hitting a homer off a MLB pitcher is the hardest thing to do in sports.
what the shift paul dejong is a shortstop
Everyone was a fastball except for Johan Duran he threw a slider
Duran threw one 105mph
catchers make it look easy to catch
Your telling me a college baseball player throws harder then most mlb playrrs
No lmao, the average mlb pitching velocity is 95mph
Cardinals pitching development can develop velocity but literally everything else goes out the window.
The opposite is true 😂😂
imagine being the catcher
104 is so damn fast lmao
Yo
Someone get ben joyce in there. (If you know, you know)
You sound sick
Most of them play for the cardinals it seems

So in 100 years if little increments stay the same, we’re looking at approx 108.8 mph fastballs….
Yeah I don't think so lol. The human body doesn't allow to go to 110mph. We MAY see 108 once, but I seriously doubt it. We'll never see 110. Dudes arm will fall off.
Catcher getting mutilated.
The last dude's hustle to first is pathetic.
Munoz????
He topped at 103 I think
It's slowest Speed in cricket 😂😂
I thought Hunter Greene hit 105.1 and 104 this year
In cricket 150 speed of ball
Different measurements
What about the firefighter in the minors
100mph TWO Seamers, 90mph change-ups, stupid sliders and 80mph benders From every pitcher every inning.
No wonder the Astros cheated.
bell in padres wasn’t this year buddy 😅
Where’s andres Munoz
Ummmm back to back Duran 105 fastballs, you forgetting something
Didn't Duran pitch 105 once
The J is pronounced like a Y
Is a 104 mph ball that's nowhere near the strike zone actually impressive?
Lies. Only one man has ever had a 100 mph pitch recorded.
What cardinals pitcher is that
Ryan Hesley All Star pitcher basically his first year
Jordan hicks, and Ryan hesley.
Does Jhoans 105 not matter
Remember the old MTC? Since ur sick go back to posting videos or don’t post at all it’s fine. U don’t have to keep posting if ur sick
It literally says 104
Bruh 90% of the hits I see on mlb is foul balls
Improper grammar, "hardest" pitches, incorrect. "Fastest" pitches, correct! It's not how "hard" you are throwing, it's how "fast" you are throwing. Please don't kill me, I'm just a messenger.....Thank you.....
If its a ball i aint impressed
Doval pitch was trash
Jose alvarado just missed out
