See how the mnms splashes upward as if a force came from below.. then later at 3:11, he switches the big cube to a chocolate rubix cube.. how the small 3x3 cube become like a 7x7 chocolate cube? The time he covered it using his right hand, a chcolate rubix cube underneath the table replaced the 3x3 cube.. these are just my thoughts though. Things happening underneath the table is The Prestige :)

2:05 - He`s already holding the small cube with his hand, and passes to the other hand at 2:10. 2:31 - You can see that he moves his right leg, probably pressing a buttom (you can even hear the "Toc" sound, and also you can see the real cube missing), and then switching the cubes. 2:44 - He gets on his toes, and the cube goes up from behing the table(he touches something with his leg). 2:54 - the cube is on a specific shuffle, only 4-5 moves and it gets back to normal. 3:12 - switches the big cube for the chocolate one. 3:21 - you can hear again the "Toc" sound(he press the button again with his leg), swapping for the chocolate one. 3:56 - pick up the papers from behind the table. Thats how i think he did this magic. If anyone want to know, but not with the best english. Was a really nice magic, took me some time to see every move he did. Also, what a great magician, thats why he won the show!

this is the most memorable magic bit I've seen. I'm back, 2? or 3 years later, after first seeing this, just to watch it again. Never had another act do that for me. I really love this performance

He was so professional and one talented magician! really appreciate him!!!

actually when he brings out the bigger cube, I could see it in 0.25 pausing the video. you can see he has the cube between his left thigh and the table. when he starts pouring candy, he forces the cube to the table, you can even see he lifts up the body a little, to make the cube there. and we can se as well, as the cube goes forward, the candies all fly towards the camera, which is provoked by the movement the cube makes out of his thighs. but still an amazing trick and I couldn't see the others lol

Why semifinal, his magic and presentation is as magical as shim lim. Both of them even performing in fism before. He could even champ the talent show like shim lim.

See when he hands the coin to judge how he tries to move the coin from middle of his fingers to the palm. It is very common trick. On the second one, try to slow down and you will see he already has small cube in his right hand. He just cleverly transfer it to the left hand to make it seem it came from the marbels. See closely you will see it is already in his right hand.
At 2:04 Someone under the table handed him the small Cube or a mechanically foot paddle that lifted the cube to his hand. The way his hand pouring the chocolate is not natural at all cause he have to hold it while pouring the chocolate and fast enough to place it over to the other hand so fast. The rest is that magic carpet on the table, there is no magic just technologies but he did it really well and entertaining.

@Theany Shin Lim won (joint) first place in the "card magic" category in FISM 2015. Eric Chien won _close up Grand Prix_ in FISM 2018. To win Grand Prix, not only do you have to beat out everyone from your category, but you also have to beat every other first place winner from every other category. There are a handful of first place winners at each FISM, but only two Grand Prix winners.
Eric's presentation just isn't as good as Shin Lim. Shin's performance with the music and his sexiness is just way better imo. Half of magic is the actual performance after all
Around 3:10 to 3:13, you can see the excellent magician reach under the table with his left hand, and switch a real Rubik's cube, exchanged for a specially constructed one that can disintegrate into chocolate pieces when struck on the table. If we study this long enough, maybe all the sneaky stuff can be revealed. But it was a great, creative act, and I really enjoyed watching it. Felt fresh!

actually when he brings out the bigger cube, I could see it in 0.25 pausing the video. you can see he has the cube between his left thigh and the table. when he starts pouring candy, he forces the cube to the table, you can even see he lifts up the body a little, to make the cube there. and we can se as well, as the cube goes forward, the candies all fly towards the camera, which is provoked by the movement the cube makes out of his thighs. but still an amazing trick and I couldn't see the others lol

Yeah saw it now. Watching at 0.25 ruins the fun, you can guess at the other tricks too.
@@roxyroxanne1233 so for the first one he is using his fingers to move and hide the coins in his hands. See when he hands the coin to judge how he tries to move the coin from middle of his fingers to the palm. It is very common trick.
On the second one, try to slow down and you will see he already has small cube in his right hand. He just cleverly transfer it to the left hand to make it seem it came from the marbels. See closely you will see it is already in his right hand.

At 2:04 Someone under the table handed him the small Cube or a mechanically foot paddle that lifted the cube to his hand.
The way his hand pouring the chocolate is not natural at all cause he have to hold it while pouring the chocolate and fast enough to place it over to the other hand so fast.
The rest is that magic carpet on the table, there is no magic just technologies but he did it really well and entertaining.

@Theany Shin Lim won (joint) first place in the "card magic" category in FISM 2015. Eric Chien won _close up Grand Prix_ in FISM 2018. To win Grand Prix, not only do you have to beat out everyone from your category, but you also have to beat every other first place winner from every other category. There are a handful of first place winners at each FISM, but only two Grand Prix winners.

Around 3:10 to 3:13, you can see the excellent magician reach under the table with his left hand, and switch a real Rubik's cube, exchanged for a specially constructed one that can disintegrate into chocolate pieces when struck on the table.
If we study this long enough, maybe all the sneaky stuff can be revealed.
But it was a great, creative act, and I really enjoyed watching it. Felt fresh!
