LOOK! hes just twiddling the sticks around randomly! ahah. sarcasm to the max. been to 3D masters in northampton and saw Mr Szabo's routine, a truly eye-watering amount of skill. Long live three dimensions!
The guys a legend !!!! No way could i ever hope to do half that in a rough looking format. How can he train his fingers to react so fast ? Sheer brilliance
Wow, you are a king! Sick skills! Thank you very much for combining the video with stick movements, what a help! Big up to the guy who kept that chopper in view while doing such crazy shit!
Incredible that is !!!! But I pretty sur I never do that this man should start very soon and be alredy a master at 2 years old ! Congratulation ! super bravo !!!
God I can't believe its been 16 years since this came out. All the kids are grown and gone now. Two of them are married. One has a baby and one on the way. Time gets by so quickly!
i think he's doing that super fast jerking to create the rapid 'wopopop' sound of the blades throwing the air back and forth. he just knows how to do it in a controlled manner so that it still manages to create smooth movements. talk about really pushing the limits...not only do you get cool visual effects but interesting sound as well.
Oh... So, that's all there is to it? Now that I know what he's doing with those little sticks, I'm pretty sure I can do it. Well, maybe I should watch him one more time. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!
I doubted myself in thinking I could never fly like Master Szabo, yet I'm getting close :-) My Blade 440 can only fly so hard and my nitro is too heavy. Thanks Alan.
How many crashes does it take to get that good? Lol.. Freaking awesome! Seconds 10 thru 16, whats with the 'epilepsy' moves on the cyclic? Is that a quick way of averaging movements on the fly?
Did anybody notice him hit the aileron trim button at about 1 minute 29 a couple times once while it was spinning. Assuming he flies mode 2. Incredible flight as always.
yeah, I know what you mean. Its like once you reach that level, where do you go from there. Thats when things get kinda boring or routine. Although he seems to be living a great life from flying these things. He get to travel the world for free, he gets a crap load of money from doing this, and he gets free equipment and stuff. its kinda cool!
you kidding me? Alan Szabo doesn't crash... don't you know he's only 1 inch tall and is actually inside that helicopter flying it? the dude with the joystick is just his life size stand-in alan szabo is too cool to ever be seen by the human eye
on 2:15 it's easy to do, just let the heli crash in the ground with the throttle hold switch up and it will behave pretty much like that...lol. This guy can mow anyone's grass...:D
hahaha. That to me is the only way i reckon he would be able to get those fast backwards inverted circuits straight into a chaos. No normal Human Being can do that. It's just impossible, no wonder he's arguably the worlds best.
In mode 1, when the throttle stick is on the lowest position the engine switch off, and for sure the pitch is not enough to flight in 3d, is almost difficult to get the loop right in mode 1, so for me is flying with a minimum pitch of +13 and -13, and also watching the stick movements is difficult to get he's level, not for nothing for me is one of the best rc heli pilot in the world.
I know how this is done! You just stir the right stick in a clockwise motion and the left stick in some random fashion and don't fly anywhere near gravity! Simple!!
I wonder what kind of level intellect these people have to fly like this. The month they were born probably matters. Neuroscientist should be studying these people. Not everyone can do this. Their brain fires differently. Maybe a similarity could be found and a way to simulate the areas can result in high intellectual motor skill performance.
angel alonso I want to agree with you but certain things.. some people's brains are just wired to just do things far easier than others. It's like when people just do not have that brain to gymnist no problem or do tricks with a motorcross bike. The results can be irreversable. Some people are just natural and that is the word.
You need to be so smooth when flying rc helis this on the other hand is so harsh I know he is smooth but so rough with them sticks it amazing. Also his heli is no basic kit ,after flying a bit of 3D with my raptor 50 the blade hanger snapped a ball off and hey presto it hit the deck!!
Alan rocks with helos! I learned a lot watching his stick moves. Thanks for sharing.

dang...his eyes are so ninja he knows every little movement that goes on.... THIS IS CRAZY!
Insane!
First time I saw a video of his my jaw dropped.
Inspired me to learn to fly.

that is absolutely in-fucking-sane, i wonder if i could get him to come to my next RC Jamboree

One of my favorites - Alan can lay it down
no carbon build up on this heli lol good flight as usual Al
we'd love to see a video of it when you finish! :)
Living proof aliens live amongst us. This guy is not human! Great video! Something for all of us inferior pilots to look forward to.
che spettacolo sei un fenomeno....
io sto imparando piano piano
OH MY GOD! I must see it in real! :)
crazy flying! I tried doing the exact same stick movements on the sim and didn't quite turn out the same :)
stick movements? no, SICK movements!
Did anybody notice him hit the aileron trim button at about 1 minute 29 a couple times once while it was spinning. Assuming he flies mode 2. Incredible flight as always.
Incredible....
actually i was just listening TiKToK from Kei$ha - fits perfekt to this show :)
Looks like a walk in the park.
However it's probably a lot more like a marathon jog, barefoot in hot sand with little glass shards in it.

@coyote20030 thats sorta his signature move "crack stick" its hard to see in the video but makes the helicopter shake and stutter during the maneuver.
Awesome!!!
No, those are called crack rolls. The point is to make the "cracking" sound, and make the heli look like it's going into epileptic shock :P
keep practice going and soon youll think 'hey its been 6 minutes and i'm still flying
Then it gets tough!
you kidding me? Alan Szabo doesn't crash... don't you know he's only 1 inch tall and is actually inside that helicopter flying it?
the dude with the joystick is just his life size stand-in
alan szabo is too cool to ever be seen by the human eye
LOL. I have a lama 4, it's very nice for a beginner like me.

Bar none the sickest flying I've ever seen. Absolutely amazing. I hate this guy - LOL! j/k :)
holy crap!!!
i like Alan
Sei grande
You are so good and I wish I am as you are..
Hey Alan Szabo can you still hover with the heli ?? or just tricks nolimit ^^
thanks!
hahaha. That to me is the only way i reckon he would be able to get those fast backwards inverted circuits straight into a chaos. No normal Human Being can do that. It's just impossible, no wonder he's arguably the worlds best.
Servo abuse if I've ever seen it. Its been a minute since I've seen this. That had some pretty complex moves in it.😃
Нижнем Новгороде встречу, на которой часов отвечал на наиболее популярные вопросы, поступившие его общественную ...
Piece of cake! I could do this too if I sold my soul to the devil in exchange for a magic anti-gravity helicopter.

@TheHeliFlyer Probably the T-REX 600N from Align. He is their main test pilot!
Look...Helicopter's near the ground....Alan Szabo don't care....he smacks the s#!t out of it!
you are crazy ;)
He would, but his beard hasn't come in yet.
DID YOU KNOW?
That alan szabo uses his helicopter for an early morning shave.
WOW! O_O
have you got it yet!?
είσαι και ο πρώτος
pilot "Whooooooops!!"
Thats just fucking nuts.
I believe he has JR8717 servos in there. :)
I know how this is done! You just stir the right stick in a clockwise motion and the left stick in some random fashion and don't fly anywhere near gravity! Simple!!
I watched the videos with the electric bird and I was certain that a gas powered heli would just stall under these kinds of loads. Guess I was wrong.
Over 200mph!

They are not some special breed of human. They are just people who have learned a skill. You could do the same with time and practice

it's hard, but it's not that hard. they spend a lot of time on simulators.
bravo!
why does he shake the stick on the right sometimes? it looks like it has the same affect as just moving it smoothly around ??
You need to be so smooth when flying rc helis this on the other hand is so harsh I know he is smooth but so rough with them sticks it amazing. Also his heli is no basic kit ,after flying a bit of 3D with my raptor 50 the blade hanger snapped a ball off and hey presto it hit the deck!!
I tryed this once and ı just remember that some thing comeing to me ! And White screen :)
Helicopter and stick movements :)
If im not mistaken that is like a 700-size nitro heli lol maybe 600 not sure
How Alan Szabo mows his lawn...
I can't do what he does but i'm workin on it:)
so if i do those exact stick movements my heli will do that? lol
pra que fica numa luta dessa com o radio?
whats all the jerky movement for?
Why can't you put the video insert in the black area instead of covering the video?
Thats like asking a gymnast if they can crawl......
It is Avant Aurora (90 size)
Something tells me this dude has done something like this before.... 0_o
Any passengers aboard?
That stick moments real? Looks sped up?
I can do everything that this guy does, just give me 100 helicopters
Is "crack" a reference to the drugs he's on?
yes there is another one. But without your comment i would not see it. Thanks :D
that's all good...but can he hover ???
just destroyed hella helicopters trying to figure out the stunt at 2:06
what a guy, i always crash mine trying to do 3D, always leaves a big dent in my wallet
Because the black areas are created by the Flash player, and are not part of the original video.
I dont know... he obviously passed hover day..
ooooohhh...how many crashes before this fly...?
congratulations ...¡¡¡
i think i found new hair dresser
How to kill your servos and transmitter ;)
that's not really what either of us were referring to.
i don't see how anyone could do this.
I bet his girl friend loves those fingers lol ;)
@Blaze1024
Sounds like someone's trying their best to hide jealousy with a nose in the air.
amen to you, but in all respects.
don't feed the trolls.
On topic, nice way of showing how he flys, its absolutely ridiculous!!!
@VoiceOfReason61 Your on the internet.
exactly what crack is
Yeah but can you fly it straight and level!!! LOL
3:07 I'd say that was close...
Some how though i don't think i will let him try to shave my beard. he is good but imaginge a 720 SAB hitting your chin.
