thanks a lottt for your thorough review, a lot of naruto youtubers have been making dishonest reviews and kind of support the game mostly because they want to keep their source of income, sadly i had to stop supporting them, i hope you progress in youtube and become better, rather see someone as honest and as good in reviewing and criticising as you become bigger in youtube then some greedy youtubers that decide to support a game even if it's become bad and it's failing it's community
You say you are not complaining , but I would if I were you , as a Naruto fan myself , getting a new game is nice, that is, if it's actually new, Honestly when Shinobi striker dropped it felt fresh , it has its problems but overall it's a good game , however collection feels like... hmm... What phantom liberty is for cyberpunk, in the sense that it adds new content to the game and improves it, yes we got the past story modes and a brand new one (tho I hear the past story modes here aren't as fun as the old days) ... Let's summ it up , we got one new story, and past ones are kinda worthless to me since I got storm trilogy, the battle improved a bit, we got old customizations back in the game, some new maps I heard, the graphics didn't change , Some could've been storm 4 updated like combat and customization and some could've been dlc like the new story and the characters could've come with the story together, and they wouldn't be any more than 30 dollars , I love Naruto and I really like to try connections, but me buying would only be for one third of the new content probably so it's not worth 70$ to me, for a new player , yea it makes some sense, instead of storm 4 they'd just buy this, I just wish they worked on customization more and added new depth to it ,same with the online part,
Ye you would be better off getting storm legacy for the best story and overall experience. This def feels like a cash grab, and tbh it is new players and old deserve better for sure hopefully they atleast update it
As someone who doesn’t have any friends, I could care less if you could play with them or not online. The only issue I have with online play is the fact that you don’t get PENALIZED for ragequitting. Like, literally all the other games had that issue. They should make it to where your rank doesn’t increase if you have a certain amount of ragequits in a row, or don’t even have it increase at all from just one ragequit. Hell, even make it to where you lose your win streak if you rage quit. There’s literally so many way you can do that, and I find it kind of odd that the devs didn’t do that upon release.

I would honestly like if they just went back to Part 1 Naruto and made a storm game with the quality expected of them. Kakashi vs Zabuza, Gaara vs Lee, Rock Lee/Gaara vs Kimimaro would all look sick if Cyber Connect made those boss battles complete with cutscenes, QTEs, the works. It shocks me that Part 1 Naruto is one of those series where we still don't have a complete video game for it that goes all the way from Land of Waves to Sasuke Retrieval in a way that substitutes watching the show like Storm did for Shippuden.

Tbh i bought the game without doing nay research, I grew up playing Storm 1 and 2, and those were my last naruto games, I just got a PS5 so I had to get the latest edition !
Subbed, as of now, i definitely won't be getting the game, so glad i didn't, i was planning to, was hoping to play the definitive version of all 4 games, along with all of Boruto so far to where it's at now, but we got less content here, then in storm 2 alone, maybe one day i'll play it, when they fix and add a fee things, but until then, I'mma start mybfirst play through of the storm series, beginning to end, can't wait to see the story, and everything play out. 😊🙃
I agree with your opinion in most of the subjects, for me Naruto Storm Connections it doesn’t feels like a new Storm game at all, they changed only a few buttons commands and nothing more, the fact that they removed Tilts and they put the tilts moves on the second jutsus it's pretty lame, disappointing and lackluster, this game feels more like an update DLC than like an actual New Storm Game. But honestly, for me Storm 1 will remain the most Unique one from the series and the closest to the anime itself because of the very dynamic gameplay features, my reasons: Intro of characters before the encounter, unique jutsus that didn't came back to the other Storm games, longer and diverse movesets for almost any character, Awakenings in Storm 1 have also Ultimate Jutsus, Jutsus Clashes and Wall Fighting... and I can go on and on to state it why Storm 1 gameplay was the most unique one from the Storm Series, just try to Imagine Storm 4 gameplay with Storm 1 gameplay features, In my opinion that will be the Perfect Storm game. The First Storm game has the most Unique gameplay features perspective and the particular presentation of the game was so ahead of it's time in my opinion, the only downside of the first Storm game was the very lacking Story Mode Interactions, and from Storm 3 the developers cut and shortned the movesets of characters, that's why I don't agree with their choices. (By the way, my favourite Storm games and I will put them in my personal order will be: 1.Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 1 and Generations. (these have my favourite vibe and charm of the anime itself because of the dynamic gameplay features) 2. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2( for the unique Story and some Unique Boss Battles and let's not forget that Iconic "Calm Before the Storm" OST from the Characters Selection Screen and many more diverse soundtracks) 3. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst (Because of the more well-rounded diverse Story Perspective and very epic Boss Battles and also the soundtrack "Outside Konoha" and others soundtracks as well) 4. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 (mostly because of the unique option to change/switch between your characters team during the fight, this particular option mechanics should've been already in the game from the very first Storm game in my opinion) 5. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution (because of the abused and annoying Counter mechanic) 🤷🏻♂️
Ah the industry norm of less is more and you will enjoy it model. I do agree that storm five should be the final install ment to cover all the burrito manga story and the tale end of Naruto story as an reminder and flesh out the gameplay of this title. Your friend sleeping in the call is something telling, no?
Is anyone else have this issue where there is a delay between movements whether it be after performing combos or doing any kind of action in fights because I’ve been told I am pressing the buttons too early but it is still annoying

Substitutions hardly work. players literally always quit in the middle of the match with 0 penalties. you get paired up in rank with people thats like 10K Points over. Running jutsu armor, pain Almight push is broken. and so on and so on. literally uninstalled this game and tried to get a refund. its terrible
What I personally don't like is the english voice acting, it feels so emotionless that it would have been alot better if thei imported the ones from previous games instead of this. Also one of the main characters added , Naruto Baryon mode looks awful , stiff tails with almost no texture, it honestly feels like a modded character.
This is how you criticize the game. Some people just hate on the game, which may have negative impact on some people who worked on the game who didn’t have any power to make good changes for the game. Remember that not everyone who made the game wanted this game to be this bad and that they’re people too.
Stop humoring Arena Fighter anime fighting games. They are straight up never gonna be good. People go to great lengths just to make them slightly playable. Refund this garbage.
If you don’t like it don’t play idk why people say they are too many arena fighters like dbz and Naruto aren’t the only ones people obviously like them if they’ve been getting made for 3 console generations
