I like how the final battle against Trigger and Megalothor imitates the final battle of Tiga and Gatanothor, especially the part where the children gave their light of hope to Trigger, which mirrors how Tiga was resurrected into Glitter Tiga

@@d.n.tranger1457 it's not annoying, it doesn't suit our taste. I don't like the catchphrase either, it cringes me. But I guess since Ultraman is somewhat a children show, the catchphrase will give more impact to children and always remind them to keep smiling no matter the problems they're facing
The fact that Shizuma remembered how Tiga was revived by the children around the world, is the final case to confirm that Shizuma is indeed from the Neo Frontier Space timeline

This episode was has one of the most saddest endings in the Ultra Series, Kengo sacrificing himself to restore the Eternity Core back to its original state

1:bad pacing for crossovers,as much as i love Z,his 2 episode contribute nothing to the plot. Tiga cameo was very rushed.
2:the guts select team lack screentime and development,if anything,akito have the best one out of the entire team,and ignis being the best character in the show. Dont give me the 25 episode crap,Z and geed also have 25 episode but they make the main cast very enjoyable
3:the plot focus too much on trigger and not dark giant trio,to the point the only dark giant that is somewhat have okay development is darrgon.
When the intro say “ultraman toriga!” The nostalgia just hit me somehow.

The ending scene definitely brought me to tears....I loved the Ultraman Trigger series. Definitely looking forward to watching Ultraman Trigger Episode Z the Movie & looking forward to the next Ultraman series

I will always remember all of my memories of Ultraman.
If the combination of light and darkness is the true form of Ultraman Trigger, then the combination of light and darkness it also applies to this episode, and utterly the entire show . The first 3 episodes shot by Sakamoto and Hisaya Naoki (maybe, no Japanese lol) brought this show straight down to the ground and resulted in the lowest score ever, but thanks to other great directors like Tsujimoto and Taguchi, made this show slowly standing up and continuing raising its score. Yet, when it came to the last 3 episodes, where again shot by Sakamoto and Hisaya Naoki, 23 and 24 are quite acceptable, but when it came to this one, well, it's like Hisaya Naoki combined all his strengths and weaknesses in this episode, the good ones are OK, and the bad ones are bad as hell. Ironically, he did a surprisingly good job in episode 11, yet he still failed to put the damn good chance in episode 12 to good use, I even started to think that he may has also touched the Eternity Core.
But there's something I have to clarify, there isn't really any so-called "masterpiece" or "piece of ****", even the best show in the world still has the bad sides, it's just its bad are too few to stain the good; and even the worst show in the world still has its highlights, it's just the highlights are too few to cover the bad. For this show itself? It's like slightly above the average on the scale, maybe it has a few episodes that are extremely horrible (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 25), but it means it still has 19 episodes that performed well and even excellent, I've seen a lot of people that scolds this show is a piece of ****, very likely they only focused on these 6 episodes (especially this one) and completely ignoring the other 19 episodes, taking everything out of context which is, if you only focused on the bad and completely ignoring the good, then I'm afraid that there isn't any show in the world that can possibly satisfy you.
Overall, I give 7 out of 10, it's not a masterpiece, but it's still acceptable to me, especially Kengo and Ignis, these are the two of my favorite characters

Personally, I think the only flaw this show had is that not all the characters had a character development story unlike in Tiga. I really wished Tsuburaya made it into a 50+ episode story, just like Tiga so that we can see each character's origin and then a character development for each. Other than that, really enjoyed the show. Giving it a 9/10. Can't wait for episode Z and the appearance of Evil Trigger.
yea bro, the thing that makes trigger enjoyable cuz they being consistence with the lore, story may be little rushed at least it has movie like fight scene which makes this show good

You know, Ignis should have been Evil Trigger with the Villain of Episode Z being Trigger Dark, along with switching from another planet to a Ultra-Ancient Ruin and occasionally return to a planet and I’m a happy man. Oh, and if you just want to be cheap, just repaint Trigger Dark’s suit using the colors of Evil Trigger.
I agree, the only thing I didn't like about Trigger was that there wasn't more LOL, & yes, I wish there was more character development but there did seem to be a pretty good deal. Also I wish we could have seen more Kaiju & aliens based on ones from Tiga.

Well, Carmeara did become a good guy in Decker Series
Iwae (rejoice), when the giant light of hope fuse with his past darkness of despair; has create a new evolution and awaken his true power. His name is: Ultraman Trigger Truth! For the story is not as epic like Z series, but it teach us great moral; no matter you are born as a light or darkness creature there are light and darkness inside us, it depend on how you balance both side of you.
Look at Ultraman Geed and the majority Kamen Riders, both have power of darkness born within them but they chose to fight for light and justice; why I say majority for Kamen Rider because some are evil, sadist or edge lord.

@@shardownmvngaming I know, right?! And what's more, it seems she can revive Hudram and Dargon! ...although, reviving Hudram might be a bad idea. He was brilliant, but hopelessly treacherous. He also reveled in his antics and showed no remorse, nor did he seem to care about anyone.
Dargon, on the other hand, is just fine. He proved himself to be an honorable warrior, and I'm sure that Yuna and Akito would love to see him alive again.

This series was pretty decent, but a lot of major flaws as well. The fact that the head writer of this series has no knowledge of Ultraman would explain that
One thing I still criticize even till this day is the reuse of Showa Kaijus. Ultraman Trigger is supposed to be a "New Generation Tiga" yet a majority of his Kaijus are from the Showa Ultra Series. Only a few Tiga Kaijus are used (Golba - Golza and Melba, Gazort, and Kyrieloid)
I know the series is not from the same universe or timeline, but if it's supposed to be a tribute to Tiga's series, then it's supposed to have a majority of Tiga's Kaijus as well. That "New Generation Tiga" title truly lost its meaning. I hate to see how Ultraman Decker: "New Generation Dyna" will go, bet it'll be featuring the same Showa Kaijus we see on Trigger and the previous New Gen Series only with a different form

I hope they tried to put more effort in the plot as many characters didn't built up with much of success. About 30 episodes with exclude those flashback should be enough to make a series wonder. Overall is still better than Taiga (The only series I didn't watch all episodes since X). Flashback is not necessarily especially when you gonna make chronicles anyway 😂

This is the best ultraman series among the new generation.. Myb the story a bit rushed but they're showing a real focus about the 3 giants of darkness, Kengo developing & positive mindset leads to the best outcome & archivement ❤️❤️❤️

It's nice to see the references, just wish the end had more built up, not as strong as the original last episodes of Tiga but this is a lot shorter so give it some slack i guess since 25 ish episodes is the norm now over the 50 episodes for a series.

Wasn’t the first where an Ultra combined the powers of light and darkness. A couple of the new generation heroes did it too like Orb in his Thunder Breaster form, Geed in his Primitive and Royal Mega Master forms, the R/B brothers used Ultraman and Belial’s crystals with their other crystals to make a new crystal yo allow them to become Ruebe (as long as they cooperate), and Z in his Delta Rise Claw with Beliarok
