I spent only about 3 hours here over the summer, as I was more focused on Busch Gardens. So I only got a few slides in, but it seemed like a great waterpark, so I would've liked more time. It can be hard to see where the attractions were because of all the trees, but the trees certainly add to the beauty (and the shade). My favorites are always the body slides, because I'm able to get good speed with the body contact. I didn't bring any cameras in with me, so thanks for sharing your footage. I'm glad you & your daughter had a great time there. I did the Vanish Point trap door slide, and it was amazing! I've done about 25 of these at various waterparks, but this one was clearly the best. No bumpiness, so it was comfortable on a bare back, yet still maybe the most intense one I've ever done. One of the 2 didn't have a countdown, so I didn't know when it would drop. Despite the long line for it, I went back to ride it again, because it was so good. I skipped Rampage, because Hurricane Harbor in Arlington TX has that exact ride that I've done multiple times.
I went there for a full day in 2008 and then returned for a half day two days later after spending some time at nearby Busch Gardens Williamsburg since we also got rainy out on our first day. When we returned to Williamsburg again in 2013, we weren't able to go because we got rained out again and weren't able to fit it in our schedule with everything else we planned to do while in town. I seem to get very unlucky with this park when it comes to weather.
I love this place so amazing! Thanks for reviewing it!
