Very nice adaptation of the bridge at Monet’s Giverny. You even had a very close color mixed. Kudos! All the steps you took & jigs were clearly shown. An experienced woodworker should be able to understand how to build it following your video. To those who wanted dimensions: bridges are sized as needed. Great job, great video. Thanks!
That looks amazing..a lot of work..but a love of your passion..shows in every cut of wood, screw that was put in the bridge, and the strokes of painting..was completed with a true love and pride. Fantastic! Rude you are an True Artist..Congratulations!
great attention to detail, including good footings on either side of the stream. I do want to know how you pre-bent all the pieces. Steam box or just weighted down out in the rain for a few weeks?
The jig you build to make all the bent laminations, how did you fair the large curve? When you made the clamp brackets are they angled to match the angle or were they just cut square?
Very well done but I have to ask, why did you simply not put the posts on the outside of the bridge?. That way it keeps the full width accessible, apart from that great job. I like the colours actually (but not the rather weird bracing side pieces) and can see how much time you’ve put into it. Thank you for sharing.
Kerry Bolton thanks for the comments! It’s supposed to look like Monet’s garden bridge in Giverny. If you google it you’ll see why I built it this way.
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL JOB !!! Almost to nice to put outside !! Starting on mine tomorrow to have easier access to our mailbox !!
You sir are a craftsman! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you. the curved pieces are made from multiple bendable pieces laminated together similar to a lvl beam.
From POM POM PICTURE STUDIO you did a Great Job
What lumber did you use to make your strips you laminated? 2x6?
Clyde Hunt - cut 5/4 cedar decking 2” wide. Bent them along the 1” dimension to create an 8” x 2” beam.
Super nice job. I thought it looked so good until you painted it blue.
Kevin Côté lol
Awesome

Pat M clamp brackets follow the curve of the beam.
@@rudijones How did you lay out that large curve?

Was those 12 foot 2x4 you split?
As the video played in more speed nothing can be assumed.
Looks great, but labour intensive.
