Proud to say that I had a copper colored tan interior Ttop 1978 Z28 when I was a Junior/Senior in Hi Skool 1983-84 & kept until 1992! I always liked Yenkos & knew about the Turbo Z thru all the car magazines I used to get every month✌💖☮

This wasn't a secret GM car, GM had nothing to do with the Yenkos, the Hursts (At least through 1975), SLP, and so on. These were modified outside of GM by dealers, and/or performance companies but sold and warranted by the respective divisions/dealers

My favorite second generation Camaro is always the Z28 because it was great and affordable including the Yenko Turbo Z which 19 were built in 1981

Yes, indeed my friend had one had a hood that would light up like Star Wars when it made about 4 pounds of boost. I think it ran a 16.7 in the quarter. He almost lost to a van one night!!

The Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is a business road racer and it’s a performance package between 1970 81

Yenko should have build a stinger Monza hatchback and hardtop coupe for racing only since it’s a H body RWD platform just like the Vega from Chevrolet

"Well of it's so great, why is it so rare?".... probably one of the reasons.... because it IS rare.😋 ALSO: Whenever I hear rhe word "car collector " I know I'm not going to relate. If you have the ability to "collect" cars, you gotta be worth some serious bucks. It's not like collecting baseball cards. 😆

why make a video if you are not going to show the actual car, waste of time.

Who exactly is "they"? GM never offered this and it is not part of the EPA certification that is REQUIRED if a manufacturer is going to offer a combination. nothing is being hidden and nothing is secret. Your information is about as reliable as going to the Mayberry beauty shop and listening to gossip. This is simply a sensational video to gain views and ad revenue.

Never understood why they discontinued the Corvette. You know what that car would be to day. The discontinued up because it would flip over because it was independent. Rahyun would cold under if it came off the ground a little bit of a bulb in a way that it would flip it. Don't you think they were smart enough just to make a catch s***** cable? That's all we do. Why would they just continue a car? Because of that I had a couple of April men. We were fast. And we had no cool look at all stuff for the oil
