Yep, it’s a continuous process, with many different baths that the film goes through. You can keep sending rolls through one after another without waiting for the first to be done. The chemicals are just refilled by bottles at the side and temps are maintained as set in the machine. Takes 5+ minutes approx for a roll to be developed, dried and come out of the machine
