Much appreciated. It really is a stunning valley, day or night. That's the view from where we currently have our home-base and have done several house sits in the neighbourhood. Such a pleasure to just watch and enjoy the view.
I enjoyed this video guys. I have come to realise that other people do not know what it's like in towns they haven't visited.... including me so I started making short clips of London to show my friends we have a real gardeners market here. We have fields and forests and squirrels etc. If I could like this video twice.... I would. L8
Glad to read you enjoyed the tour. We also decided to do this in (almost) every town we visit. People don't know indeed and that way they can see what a place has to offer. Nice that you also make city clips of London to show the other side of the big busy city. 😄
Very interesting. I love all the food markets. I love visiting and shopping in new places, especially for food. The food looks delicious. Also love the flowers.
Oh yes, the food! We love trying new stuff too, especially in other countries. The food markets are quite common here which is good as it's all fresh and organic.
Eso es bueno. Muchos sitios aquí cambiaron bastante en unos décadas. Mas bien hacia el turismo. A nosotros siempre nos ha gustado mucho a San Isidro de El General. Muy lindo lugar y area para estar y vivir.
Hahaha, of course you liked the mannequin! 😄 I also tagged you in a video on our Insta. You might like that just as much. 😉 Other than that, we haven't had pupusas but we did have something similar to it.
Hola muy buenas y gracias por la visita a nuestro canal. Saludos desde Nuevo Arenal (en este momento)! 😄 Que pais tan maravilloso para visitar, disfrutar y explorar. Pura Vida 🇨🇷
If you refer to the start of the video, those are clouds that hang low in the valley almost every morning. As soon as the sun comes up, they are gone pretty fast. It's quite a sight to see. That being said, from that viewpoint we did often see fires at local farms in the distance. These were sugar cane fields as after the harvest, they burn down the fields before replanting.
People with mask breathing barriers submission to the General into that tyranny 😢 with 35 Celsius up imagine the sweat 😓 underneath that breathing barrier 😅 pool of germs floating
Can't agree more. Sadly this was at that point (2 years ago) where you couldn't even go shopping without one of those. Odd actually, how from one day to the next everybody has one and just as sudden from one day to the next nobody does. But that's a different topic.😅 Luckily you won't see them here anymore. The 35 Celsius does add up to the uncomfortableness.
Yes, they have stopped. They were required outside for quite a while but last year all requirements have dropped. Only in hospitals or staff at public health institutions are required to wear them. Visitors can enjoy Costa Rica without any need to wear masks, being vaccinated or PCR testing. This video and quite a few more were shot during the time it was still a mandate to wear them.
Cista Ricans do not like san isidro; it rains too much and is cool year round. Also. The city sits high in the mountains which makes for a cooler climate.
I didn't knew that the locals weren't fond of the place. I know a lot of expats live there for that same reason, that it's cooler over there. Up in the hills of Paquarito the climate is a bit warmer. We did see the low hanging clouds over the valley there almost every day. Beautiful to see but definitely a lot cooler.

The tour of the farmers market was awesome....such a great variety

Thanks, it really is an interesting town. It has everything and it's location is ideal. For us it's 15 minutes to town and 30 to the beach.

Enjoyed the walking tour! My favourite parts were the mannequin in the magenta dress and the food market. By the way, have you been eating Pupusas?
Hahaha, of course you liked the mannequin! 😄 I also tagged you in a video on our Insta. You might like that just as much. 😉 Other than that, we haven't had pupusas but we did have something similar to it.
That farmer's market is mind blowing!
It really is! Quite impressive how big and how much vendors it holds.

Have they stopped with the masks now? Where they required even outside???
