I used to live in Bahrain and legit had to use a New York vpn
Since im from there I can tell you rank matchs take a long time so I always switch the servers when I use ranked I mean 30 min just to get killed by a 3 pred stacks not me

I live in South Africa and we literally don't have our own server so we forced to play the lowest ping servers
For the most part it doesn't lag but some games out of many it'll be really really bad
Ironically bahrain servers are lower ping for us but we usually use london
I swear I met so many South Africans on teh Bahrain servers

@@sibusisolanga2393 it's In the middle east, that server would probably give me the least ping and easiest matches but it takes me 10 mins to load into a game. Even then, my teammates land alone and get themselves killed so I go to London servers instead.
It doesn't lag but don't forget to mention the 160 - 200 ping no matter the internet speed you have
Bahrain servers actually really empty, we need more players to queue for a match faster, but unfortunately no one plays in this server because of that issue

And here we are in west africa with over 50k players and still no servers
Man, its sad bahrain is the only arab server and its so dead, and now its even worse that people are taking advantage if it.

I'd say put a limit to which servers you can actually connect to depending on how high the ping is, but I know there are some people that use other servers since they're closest one is very under populated.
This would kill the South African community which isn't as small as you probably think.... On a good day the best ping we could get is 190. That's on a good day
I live in latinamerica, so by default my play server should be Brazil, funny enough (aside from that the server is almost dead), i have less ping playing on NA servers (120ms sometimes spikes to 150) than in brazil servers (180ms, rarely goes below that, and 8 out of 10 games are broken with slow-mo or teleporting back and forth) so yeah, i'm quite happy i don't get kicked
@Anton Frags I play from South Africa too, in Limpopo, often Bahrain has lower ping than the European servers, like 160-180ish vs 210ish, but the queue time in ranked on the Bahrain servers takes vokken ages so it’s not even worth the better ping

Yeah I have a buddy in brazil i enjoy playing games with if stuff like this went through it would make it difficult or even impossible to game with friends around the world just because their ping is high so sadly i don’t think that’s the play here

Bahrain server is close to me and always I get three stack preds in enemy team (ranked arenas), it’s hell , i play on it sometimesbc my cousin lives there and nah ranked arenas on that server means u always get pred enemies 99% time

Yeah that is very true in ranked arenas but the players are very tough too
As someone whose default server is Bahrain I speak from experience, it takes ages to get into a match and for players in India the server ping is near 100 all the time and in order to play one needs to connect to the closest alternate server in my case Singapore where the ping is 120+, we need a closer and better server

My default from South Africa is Bahrain with 160 on a very good day, and like 180ish on most days. But the wait in between games isn’t even worth it so I play on European servers with 200+
same been playing since season 0 with 120ms there is slight delay on everything but still got my 4k and masters badge id say its impossible to get pred with that ping and frequent lags for me
Bahrain is the default server for Indian players but nobody plays it and queue times are extremely long so everyone prefers Singapore anyway. I hope this news brings more players to this server.

Since I live in the middle East I used to play on Bahrain and it took like 10 to 20 minutes to get in a game and then I would end up dying pretty early too. Now I play in the Belgium servers.
Imagine switching to low leveled servers to get a pred badge because you cant get it regularly
If you were in that persons shoes and you have an opportunity to get out of plat and get pred then you would take it

EVERYONE has that opportunity. It's called practicing and getting better at the game but considering you seem to want to defend blatant abuse of mechanics I'm gonna go ahead and assume you are just too lazy to try.
I live in KSA and Bahrain 1&2 are the default server for the entire middle east but once I queued for a ranked game with my friends and the champion was the #1 pred from a different server
Honestly this issue could be fixed If there were not so many servers and grouping areas as a whole eg not having Sydney Singapore and Japan as seperate servers and just having them all as one server Oceania like in cod it increases players and there are less servers to maintain so less issues

All they need to do is make it so that once you have masters or specifically pred, they begin to limit the servers you can transfer to - aka only ones with good population health. This would alleviate a portion of the problem without causing that much grief for most of the players.
A region lock is the most asinine and anti consumer thing you can do, especially because they service many countries such as SEA and AU with low populations, especially AU, and matchmaking is fucked later in the night and higher elo. We go to other servers to play with friends, and population.
I live in Iran and I tried many times to get in the ranked lobby on this data center but you can’t even get into a match cuz number of people who play rank in that server is so low that you would need to wait like an hour to get into match.so it’s not as efficient as you think.

those servers were unplayable for me in ranked when i was out there for 6 months, I had to mostly play on Belgian servers.

I play bahrain as my main server, there is literally zero people playing ranked or duos, but trios fills pretty quickly, and with really good players too

We don't have a server in India so are forced to pick Singapore, although Bahrain gives us a much lower ping you just can't find people to queue with in it on pc. But, on my ps4 bahrain is the only server where i get people to queue with
Good luck trying to get into a match on Bahrain server , ive tried playing there for years since i get the best ping there 60-90 ms but hate readying up for a match and then seeing that I’m the only one in searching for a game
Solution is simple and should have done a long ago: never match beyond rank limit.

Can this happen in other servers? Cause I sear to God every time I get into an arenas game I get teammates the are level 100 at best while the enemy gets levels 500 and above (I play in Sao Paulo serves)

Whenever I choose Bahrain server , I can't enter the match , because there isn't enough player for matchmaking. Always under 10 players play in pub or rank , idk how you could enter a match in that server ! Maybe they changed something, because I didn't enter that server for about 4 months. Love you Grrt 🥰
Well, even if it´s not a deserved Pred badge, they can´t get banned for this right? Because they just play on a server that is available for everyone. Or does this count as boosting RP which is not allowed?

I live in bahrain and I try to play on these servers but never get any games.. trios is okay during the day but you will never get in a duos match.. and ranked is even worse, you’ll spend time queuing. That’s why I play London or Frankfurt cuz they are the closest.
I went to Bahrain server to test this and I’m diamond 3 the lobby was stupid easy 3k dmg 8 kills but mad delay. Imma go back to my NA servers though

I live close to Bahrain so this is the only server under 100 ping which I have 20 ping on and I can’t play on it cause even with ping advantage I always queue up against high Elo players which sucks so much honestly those player you get kicked from the server

Bahrain is the best server for Middle East Countries in terms of latency, but it only has about 150 players. Queue time is so terrible that I chose to play at EU servers with 200ms Ping
So what were not allowed to play on other servers now … what’s the point in giving us all those options to openly switch between anyway😅?
On console u can just play trios on bahrain n for ranked we have to switch to tokyo, frankfurt or london. which are on around 120 ping even for duos, ur awesome👍

I live in Nigeria and sadly no servers in the whole of Africa and I am forced to play on the lowest ping server(usually Belgium for me). I average 150 ping :(
