I followed the instructions provided with the mod, and had no problems. It's just copy and paste the “psx” folder in the indicated place: %userprofile%/saved games/nightdive studios/quake ii Then I created a .bat file (created with notepad and changing the extension .txt to bat) with the line “quake2ex_gog.exe +set game psx” (without the quotes), and that directly starts the mod. My version is the GOG one, but it's explained how to do it also with the Steam one.

Great maps! Although I wish the hyperblaster sound was the same as in the PS1 version.
There are two mods that changes HUD an the sound of the hyperblaster as is in the PS1 version.
I bet the multiplayer maps are included as well, including the unused one.
Only the campaign.
