There were many Packer fans calling for Malik Willis to be the better option over Jordan Love after watching him play. All MLF wants to do is run the ball because he doesn't trust Love. Malik Willis can hand the ball off just as good if not better than Love for way less money. When MLF takes the training wheels off Love all he does is throw picks and it costs us the game.
Yeah, I'm not seeing it in Love for ya guys unfortunately. He flashes brilliance but I don't think he is ever gonna develop the consistency needed.
@@albinoslug5594 You aren't the only one. The flashes of brilliance you're talking about were just 50/50 balls off his back foot that the WR's happened to come down with. He's had half of a trash season, half of a good season, and a full season of mid. That's after we were supposedly grooming him to be ready, but he still has the vision, footwork, and accuracy issues of a rookie.
Thor said Malik Willis was the best QB in the draft. He forgets that and the fact he said Kellen Mond was a ‘great pick.’ So there is that.
@@Razorbacks1 I know the 2022 draft was bad for QB's. Brock Purdy was the best QB in that draft, and he was Mr. Irrelevant. I don't know what happened with the Titans, but I'm guessing the infrastructure wasn't very good. What I do know is when Willis has been in for Love he's looked good. He had a better Passer Rating and QBR than love, plus he almost rushed for more yards in one game than Love did all season.
That's why a lot of Vikings fans were happy you guys signed him to that contract. 😂

Thor any chance Vikings goal to get bigger and better in G-C-G could allow a change to power run game schemes utilizing Duo and trap schemes. So many young QBs get ruined when not protected. JJ is the Vikes priority. A power run game to keep defenses honest and to create rushing TDs in the RedZone would be a great help to our young QB.
Yeah, I think Las Vegas seems almost perfect for Sam because of how low profile that position is right now. Raiders really have no expectations, they're in a new-ish city still, still carving out a fan base. I think it's perfect for him.

Draft equity, the Vikings have no draft equity, pick 24 at best gets you pick 31 and 95 from Philadelphia or Chicago's 39 and 72 which puts them on the outside of grabbing a decently rated Defensive Tackle or Cornerback. Why would a team want to tell the Vikings that they would want to trade for Darnold a smart team would rather rather see him hit free agency then sign him than use their draft capital on him. The only benefit would be if you didn't want to compete against other teams with a limitation with their Cap number.

Since Thor said Kellen Mond was a ‘great pick’ and Malik Willis was the ‘best qb in the draft,’ and Bo Nix would be an absolute bust, you might want to pump the brakes on McCarthy until he actually plays in an NFL game.
There is no way Kwesi would get that much in return to move from 24 to 37. He didn’t even get close to that much when he moved from 12 to 32 lol.

Kwesi managed to turn one 2nd round pick into two 2nd round picks which allowed us to draft the bust Watson who was supposed to be our new #1 Wr. Both GM's failed on that trade in the end.

IF a great player is available at 24, don't be cute and slide down. Our GM did that in his first draft and we may not have any of those picks left next fall. Would you have traded all those picks to get back your original number one pick Kyle Hamilton? Getting a blue chip is key. trading to get a couple of red chips just increases that those picks are not going to be stars.
D.J. Giddens has lateral agility spin moves etc. intriguing in the 3rd round.

RJ Harvey is a MUCH better RB than Devin Neal. Just watched highlight vids of both guys. Harvey makes moves with one step that Neal makes in two steps. Harvey is about a 4.4 runner, Neal is closer to 4.5. Harvey can outrun cornerbacks; Neal cannot.
OMG, just watched some more Harvey video. He's not quite as fast or strong, but he reminds me of a discount Percy Harvin. He's a one-cut explosion back that can run the wildcat, catch passes, break tackles, sees and hits the hole with zero hesitation. Just enough speed to hit homeruns in college, probably gets big chunks in the pros. Love his processing speed as much as his footspeed.
Just run the videos side by side. Neal looks good by himself, but Harvey makes Neal look slow, and slow doesn't win in the NFL.
Draft Harvey and Skattebo, you got yourself a great couple of RB's, with Cam as the all-purpose blocking back.
