@@KBDProductionsTV I really enjoyed this one, Ken. As a lifelong restaurant worker, I appreciate you debunking what you and I both believe is "Yelp swatting". Keep up the good work, my Canadian brother.
Ken - I'd like to see you do a food truck challenge. 24 hours of eating nothing but food from food trucks in the Toronto area. Just at thought! Great Video!
To be honest, if you only see a few people who are giving a bad rating to a restaurant, is only because they complain a lot if something isn't going their way. If there's a number of people who are giving a bad review at the same restaurant, you know it's a bad place to eat at.
Mostly people are just nasty as hell, if you build a restaurant in a town where you will get people come here to eat at you’re restaurant but how ever, these people which are outside are not coming to your restaurant instead they’re gonna type in a 1 star review without eating stuff from your place and is a annoying 😤😤😤 gave 10000 stars on Garfield eats, they deserve better than Karen’s 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡: by the way is a joke don’t hate on people 🫲🥹👌:
Its awesome that you went to these places and showed all the positive things about them. It gives them new life and a second chance. Its possible some of the people had specifically bad experiences but Ive worked in customer service for 15 years and one thing I know from experience is that people can be very vindictive. Love to see the positive vibes and truth in experience
Honestly, the Garfield restaurant looks very cute and organized and it seems like they package the food well. The fact that their packaging itself is their own themed boxes makes it even better than like a pizza place with those generic pizza boxes or plastic containers.
Next, ask the cashiers for the spiciest meal on the menu for 24 hours! (and then eat it of course) 🌶️🔥🌶️ I'm enjoying these videos a lot! Thanks for making them.
pineapple on pizza is one of my favorite toppings. that garfield's place looked so cool, i'd definately go there if i lived there, i'm a big garfield fan
From my experience you can almost never trust reviews especially when they’re bad, always give it a try yourself and make your own first impression. The Internet is so full of negativity.
I want to try a Garfield themed restaurant! Of course it had lasagna. And I'm with you . . . the "flats" part of the wing is the best. Thanks for sharing. Another great video. Safe travels.
After hearing that Yelp has blackmailed businesses for money in return of good reviews and if they didn't pay, they'd give them bad reviews, I would treat Yelp with a grain of salt.
What I’m guessing about these reviews from both restaurants are that they ate it at home and by the time they actually eat the food, the food cooled down a lot and didn’t warm up. Or it could’ve been a bad day or different employee
@@super8bitable that to or it could have been the person that was cooking at cuz you know sometimes you can go into a restaurant and depending on the person's cooking it can be bad
Hey Ken, how about you sample daring and exotic dishes? Like Chicken feet , guts , frog legs , pig ears etc.. are you brave enough to try them? You have plenty of them in your area. Especially the mom and pop shops near you. Keep it up Ken, you’re on a roll!
Yes, considering Jim Davis was born in my homestate of Indiana, he was born in Marion, and went to the same college I did, Ball State University. You would think they would have a US restaurant.
Seems like the Garfield location just had bad reviews from having a rocky opening. It's not uncommon for new restaurants to struggle with getting everything just right when they're not used to all of their equipment
This is by far your best work in my opinion. Everything from being the camera man, video direction, editing, director, music selection, This is your best work.
One great man said Do not put all your money towards marketing when you know the food is already great as it is. Crack sells itself. I don't see why people start these small businesses and put a bunch of money towards packaging. Makes me feel like all of the resources for good ingredients are within marketing and packaging rather than the food
Hey Ken, would love to see you do a frugality challenge. Go to several different restaurants and try to get a meal for $5 (or $6?) or less, and see how it works out. Must have at least a sandwich and a drink, side would be preferable, but just see how far you can stretch a dollar!
I've said it before and I'll say it again, love the shirts you wear. I always buy those too. I call them Aloha shirts. Stay safe but enjoy yourself. Greetz from Amsterdam
FYI about the chocolate: it's not old. It's because the chocolate has melted due to the heat and the fats have separated from the dairy! There's no way of them knowing that's happened without opening them, and of course they can't do that. It's still okay to eat, just looks a little funky 🤷♀️
Some people just like to complain. I've had plenty of bad experiences with my local restaurants and fast food joints, but still return time after time. Been working in the hospitality industry for over 12 years, I've come to know even the best restaurants with 5 star chefs have it's bad days.
Can you do a food review of The Tickled Toad, especially those delicious looking chicken curry rolls along with four or five other top food items from their menu along with some of their drink specials?
Make sure to check for multiple reviews and dates. The wing place review was in 2014 so it’s definitely inaccurate. Still a great video. Next you should try the best rates food spots in your area
