I’ve had both. I returned the Pixel 9 Pro XL because while it generally took the better shot by a small margin in auto settings, the updated photographic styles of the 16 Pro Max completely outdoes it in versatility. Going to pick up my Vivo X200 Pro in about two weeks and see how that performs 🎉

Its even better than what it was on Android 14. I'm running Google Pixel 9 XL from day one, and its been getting better and better. And its not even because it was bad from the start
@@OrbitTech My bad, however about the SoC, I'm thinking the switch to TSMC and Imagination Technologies for the GPU will help the Pixel 10 compete much better with 2025/2026 flagships in a way that the average consumer would be satisfied by, maybe a better and much more AI(Gemini) for the cherry on top.
I use iPhones since 2017 and also program applications for it. Despite owning a 14 pro and my love for iOS. I will still prefer Pixel in 2024/25 due to how practical the benefits are. iPhone has great set of features which are overkill or too niche (photographic styles, log recording, pro res, overpowered chip). But they don't have that tangible effect/benefit provided to a normal consumer.
I’m undecided need a new phone have iPhone, sort of bored with iOS, but know it is dependable how is the camera on pixel and do you know anyone that has a Pixel 9 Fold?
The background on the video, the brown for iphone, the blue with futuristic bg for pixel, exceptional quality. Still dont know if its green screen or not, whatever it is your videos aree tooooo aesthetic
Man, I liked your review, but, please, next time make sure each phone is at one side the whole video. I constantly got confused when on one screen iPhone is right, then it's left, then it's right again, just jeez
If I were to spend the money, it would be on the iPhone 16 Pro, and here’s why: the iPhone has a proven track record of aging gracefully, maintaining its performance over time, and holding strong resale value. Meanwhile, the Pixel’s price drops significantly within a year, its Tensor processor has a history of underwhelming performance, and it lags behind even Snapdragon chips in power. Simply put, the iPhone is a smarter long-term investment. But I still wouldn't pay that kind of money for any damn phone On eBay I have seen the pixel 8 BRAND NEW for $340 That is the better buy
That’s true. I misremembered. It’s the new iPad Pros that now start at 256GB. But when making a video, you better fact-check everything before publishing, which in my case would’ve made me realise that the iPhone Pros start at 128GB.
Until Google stops selling Android users’ info to third party companies, I’ll stick with iPhone for the foreseeable future. Apple might be storing my info and use it for analytics, but at least that ain’t going to advertising companies.
The one thing that drives me insane is that when you turn off the android phones and turn them back on, all notifications are gone and you have to go into the settings and find the notification history. iOS doesn’t have that problem. I hope they copy iOS on that one day soon. 3:50
I disagree a little bit even though the iPhone won. I think that iOS is more than the experience of the notifications, Apple products talk to each other in ways you can't get anywhere else. That's why we are always talking about the ecosystem. Then app performance on iOS is just superior to Android because the apps are more optimized, so battery really becomes a thing. Then when it comes to the camera, there is a reason why most if not all content creators use iPhones. Every flaw you mentioned is something that affords a creator creative freedom to apply their look or filter because the image is not already so processed; and while we're at it, you didn't talk about Photographic styles which are not filters but actually bake in the look of the picture into the photo itself without losing quality (which means you can make the pictures contrasty like the pixel or something in-between as you wish). That means on an iPhone, even non technical users can customize the aesthetic of their pictures once and for all and really establish their brand identity. Every content creator with a pixel will have very similar looking stuff. Then about value, iPhones keep their resell value for significantly longer which means even after two or more years you can be paying 1/4 price to get the latest iPhone via swap and top because your iPhone will still be fetching so much money on the market. Another area I see overlooked is how secure your phone is in the event of a theft for example. Does the Pixel have anything like Find My? How about things like iMessage since we're talking about software? FaceTime? Apple Music? Apple TV? Apple Podcasts? Books app? Security and richness of the App Store? Reducing iOS vs Android to notification preferences is lazy.
Pixel does have FindMy-like features, RCS on Pixels is similar to iMessage, FaceTime can be done on Pixel (or use one of many other apps), Apple Music/TV are available on Pixel, and Pixels are encrypted and regularly scan all apps to ensure they’re safe. Most creators use iPhone because iPhones have historically been more optimized for social media upload quality (something the Pixels are now as well). Also because video has historically been better on iPhone and still is (but not by as much these days). Hopefully this didn’t read as argumentative. Just wanted to add to the conversation.
Pixel just added a Find My feature, no one uses iMessage outside of U.S, RUclips Music is available natively on Pixel, Apple Tv can be installed if that's your things. Android has become much safer than it used to be.
@@eando97 Even tho the Pixel has "similar" apps and functions like the iPhone, sadly it's always gonna be that, "like the iPhone", but the experience of using Android is nothing like using iOS, it's sad but it's true
En la mayoría de las fotos , quitando las del gran angular y de noche , a mi me gustan siempre más las de iPhone , yo no sé dónde ves que se ven mejor las de Pixel
iOS can do better with less battery, less ram, the desing its a copy, and the tensor prosessor it's terrible for daily tasks so no, it's not better, the s24 ultra can be better, but not the pixel

Nah, the G3 and G4 use a very advanced version of 2d facial recognition that's insanely fast. I tested that on Android 15, it's infinitely better than Samsung's for example. The only advantage apple still has is in pitch black environments, even in darker ones the pixel does well because of the ambient light from the display And since Google enabled support for unlocking financial apps with face recognition not long ago it seems to be statistically reliable enoguh
The video starts “I’m a pixel fan so I give the video quality to the pixel because…. I m a pixel fan” No mention to the photographic styles or the cinematic mode. Nothing. Not good comparison.
google killing one thing every months but don't' worry you'll have 7 years of updates xDDD in few years, there're gonna be dead for sure .. it's already a struggle for google pixel, like even on the video you can see how long it could be to load things, 7 years after ? people needs to be realistic.
There is a new feature that adds automatically translated audio tracks, if you click on that the default is english. So it's not his fault but some configuration on your end.
So much misinformation in this video! Pixel's face unlock is nowhere near as secure, convinient and good as iPhone's. You make it sound like they're the same and as Pixel also have fingerprint scanner, it wins in this category? Also, in most of your camera samples, the iPhone performed better.
To everyone who was bombarded by pixel glazers; the tensor chip definitely feels laggy in normal use. You won't feel it if you're coming from a mid range phone, but any other phone over 700£ just feels snappier
I love everything about the Pixel 9 Pro compared to its Apple and Samsung counterparts. However, their processor is horrible, so I have to stick to a Samsung for now. They shouldn't have released the 9 when their chip can't even compare to other flagships. They do have the best operating system and design though.
"only 5 years of updates" is truly a sentence that would sound bizarre a few years ago
