I always hear more sense in ten minutes on here than pretty much all other United content together. I still think ETH is the right man for the job. The form after January, when we had many players back from injury, showed it was a completely different side, atmosphere, and quality of football. I think that ETH should be given the backing into next season with a full and healthy squad, and if things are no better by Christmas, then maybe he should go. Thanks for the content, Andy.👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

The problem is, all us United fans are willing to give him more time but the problem is, we’re coming at it from wanting to show some patience but deep down we all know our eyes don’t lie. This is utter garbage at the moment.
If you’re going into the city game, you’re saying play a back five for the remaining league games to try and park the bus and score on the counter. We’re being outplayed by palace with four at the back, we’ll get dicked by city playing the same game strategy so is ETH willing to adapt his strategy and shift it for a few games 🤷🏻‍♂️

To say this entire squad needs sold, seems reactionary, seems dramatic, seems casual, seems like a clueless take, but it’s absolutely true. I’ve been supporting United since 1993, my first memories of United was watching Bryan Robson finally lift the a league title, Eric Cantona, collar up, chest out, Incey, absolute machine in midfield, Sparky, warrior, tough, back to goal, trapping everything that was launched into him, real men, real characters. And no matter how much time passes, no matter the era, the base ingredients for a recipe to success never changes, you need all those prerequisite qualities. The qualities that don’t cost a penny, that are just embedded with the fabric of a person. United don’t know how to identify proper characters anymore. Recruitment is based on cold hard no-context stats, you can buy a player these days without even looking at them, it’s just numbers on a bit of paper.
Aside from Lisandro, Mainoo, maybe Garnacho & Hojlund, none of this squad should be here next season. And yes, i include Rashford & Bruno in that, they should be first out the door. Their personalities & character alone, represents everything that is wrong with Man Utd. We’ve just bought bad after bad over the last ten years and now we can’t see a top player through the fog, mediocrity has become the norm, we’ve been kidded into thinking Bruno is the second coming of Cantona. Pfft 🤦‍♂️

There was the disallowed goal of course.
And Andersen also went through the back of Dalot for one of the Palace goals, just swept the legs from under him.
And Casemiro was shoved off the pitch for another, and it wasn't shoulder-to-shoulder but a physical push.
And there was also the foul on Hojlund when he was through on goal.
It seemed like Palace were able to get away with whatever fouls they wanted, and the ref and VAR didn't do anything about it, perhaps because the United players didn't even complain.

A good dancer leaves the dance floor before his/ her legs give in, Casemiro, since the Wolves VAR Onana drama Casemiro has been kicking fresh air, he must miss Fred doing his running, we have injuries yes but didn’t we lose 7-0 to Liverpool with a strong squad? So what’s the excuse?
Some players don’t deserve to be at Manchester United, I agree, but the manager did sign some of the worst players we are seeing, no tactics vs palace even to screen the old timers with Amrabat, with Mount and Kobbie with instructions to park the bus and counter attack like we did vs Liverpool in the FA Cup game, it’s a tricky situation for the gaffer. But at the end of the day lazy players or whatever they are the manager selects the players and sadly gets sacked for poor results.

    @Account_CB Месяц назад

I called 8th place at the start of the season. Aside from injuries i saw this coming. Im fortunate enough to have lived the entire SAF reign & the club is in a shambolic state now.
Pre ETH i felt we didnt yet hit rock bottom & right now i think we'll sink further. Maybe not lower than 8th next season but i still dont see a top 4 finish on the horizon for at least 2 seasons & i almost fear the cricket scores vs.. Arsenal & City in the cup final.
On the issue of Casemiro, i wont criticise him...he has professionalism more than most players at Utd but his body & mind has given up for this level. HOWEVER much like Schweinsteiger & Varane these are players we should have signed in their prime 8-10 years ago.
Its still all goes back to the way the club was allowed to collapse with Woodward after Gill & SAF. Player power is still rife & ETH has lost any control he thought he had.
I am conflicted about ETH because part of me believes if he had a stable structure, 90% of a better squad & quality depth & 100% professionalism from the players then i believe he could implement his ideas....the problem is we have a bunch of misfits, injury plagued, brand led individuals. Almost every player has no idea what the word team means.
ETH, however has made critical mistakes, game awareness, lack of adaptability, inviting incessant pressure on our feeble makeshift defence & many of his signings...Onana, Mount & Anthony particularly poor as well persisting with underperforming players.
ETH could always have given Amad a run or tried an academy player earlier in the season - if anything we may still have lost games but he could have shown a strength that he would not favour certain ppl - unfortunately he never did this & his misplaced trust has blown up in his face spectacularly.
I wont beat with a stick ETH for signing Casemiro...that is solely on the club's mismanagement & desperation to push 70m on a player 2 weeks into the start of last season when they failed to sign Timber & FDJ in June & July that year. We only got Martinez once it was established Timber was going to accept Arsenal.
Martinez has shown quality but one crucial player out of 25 with only youngsters Garnacho, Mainoo & a developmental Hojlund is simply not good enough for Utd.
We have no control over what Ineos say or do....but so far im not convinced by their start....ok we have Wilcox, Berrada & possibly Ashworth...but the process for settling all 3 is still in progress. Changes have been made to Scouting & finance but critically at what point are they going to start gutting this squad & why is no one talking about the seeming lack of medical intelligence & lack of quality coaching staff??? Ok we are restricted by funding (mostly a legacy driven failure), but it will not be good enough if they simply pin this all on ETH.
If they remove ETH so be it BUT it MUST also include being ruthless to gut this shambles of a a team.
We shall see how quickly they want to move from 1st June. If our business is not well underway by mid july - we are facing the Glazers 2.0 & a horrific period thereafter.

Surely when you are down so many first team players you keep it tight at the back and play defensive football ( I know it's not the UTD way but needs must and all that ) and then try to get something on the break . They were so open last night it was obvious they were going to concede . I know the points were needed but I would have preferred a 0-0 draw to 4-0 .

Things look terrible, but we have to back the manager. Chopping and changing every two seasons just keeps setting us back. When Ten Hag got the job, we knew it would take a while to get things right, and there would be some painful moments. This is where we are, and we have to trust the process. Look at Arsenal. There were times when it didn't look like Mikel Arteta knew what he was doing, and Arsenal were going from one gutless performance to the next. Arsenal stuck with him, and look where they are now. Ten Hag needs to be supported. Forget the outside noise. Let's just keep backing the club and keep believing that it will all pay off in the long run.
We also need to remember injuries haven't helped. And yesterday, we were without the one player we cannot afford to miss. And Mason needs time to settle in. He's missed much of the season through injury, so there's that. And Garnacho and Mainoo are kids.
At this point, I'd say take Garnacho and Mainoo out of the squad completely because you don't want them to be affected by what is going on.
But yeah, we just have to keep believing.

@@jbri1 Mourinho was a good manager. My problem with him was the way he dealt with his players publicly. There was no need to go to the press to say "Luke Shaw isn't professional enough." That could have been sorted out privately. Maybe things would have been different if the Glazers backed him and signed the players he wanted. We'll never know.
There have been situations Ten Hag could have dealt better with. Sancho, for one.
We were spoilt under Fergie. He knew how to deal with individual players. Ronaldo needed an arm around the shoulder, while yelling at Rooney got the best out of him.

Worryingly a young u21 side ended their season being crushed 6-2 by the gooners. Playing a similar style to the first team. Allowing the opponents to rain in shots on goal. Why is ETH setting up his team so badly. Why not just play low block and counter till we get back on our feet. Even Pulis can do that. You can sack ETH. But you cannot keep Rashford, Maguire, Erikson, Casemiro, Antony, Martial and Varane. People compare ETH to arteta. Arteta bought good young players with Jorginho the only exception. Arteta also got rid of old players on big contracts (Aubameyang, Lacazette, Ozil etc). Ragnick was right. We need an "open heart surgery". And that starts with getting rid of players who are simply not worth the cost. The market never lies. United fans/pundits can claim that Rashford is as good as Mbappe on his day. However, no elite club made a bid for him in the past and there's a reason for that.

I was amazed at MYSELF when the 1st then 2nd goal went in: no flinch, surprise whatsoever and really did not care that much. Perhaps like many, the fate of this season & of this team has been accepted, without any conscious thought process. Maybe even by the players; after they came out so early for the 2nd half, even they could barely lift themselves, though the neglected Amrabat seemed determined to save some reputation on his own, but they were collectively in a different dimension, or as if they had been told before coming out how terrible they were and are all out of a job soon, no matter what...Massively demotivated. Insipid.
ETH must surely know now that if there is similar in the last few games, including/despite? the Cup Final performance, he cannot be really trusted now. But the idea of his leaving after only 2 seasons, which have had 3 Cup Finals is...well, UTD post-Ferguson. When will this period end?!
That the fans were so spiritedly loud and consistent, despite observing that awful fare, reminded of the crazed support after Denis Law's notorious backheel. (The moment that finally confirmed my commitment as a small boy). Discount the immediate... Fans already looking beyond and up ahead for the fightback in the distance, that cant yet be seen.
