uses new strats across the board:
a low jump found by jr (0:40)
any weird way to cut airtime for an earlier landing, could be braking could be wiping out (0:57)
forward jump caused by jumping off the ramp at the VERY edge (1:34)
different line that cuts through the rocks more directly and lands earlier (1:49)
the warp that used to be reserved for TASes (2:04)
no longer jumping for the next warp (2:17)

It's been a while since I last played, but does the game look a little sped up? Or is that just Zoe's max speed stat

it's most likely the fact that speedruns have been getting better and better, especially in slower sections
what you're used to from your own gameplay (or other people's casual gameplay) is becoming more and more distant from what ends up in these runs
i know when i was still learning the game there was a point where things felt weirdly fast, but that's become the new normal
