Hi Echo! Is there a must have one star or two star gem we need to have for a beginners build?
For those who ask - if you remove a Rank 10 gem in an awakened piece of gear, that gear will stay awakened, but disabled... until another Rank 10 gem is slotted into that gear, which will automatically re-enable the Awakened state and any pertinent boosts. So, unless you're just wanting the Dawning Echo back to awaken a different gear slot due not having all 6 (or 8 if Inferno?), there is no need to salvage the item as is. But, if you're one who has all gear slots awakened, then swap out gems as you see fit, and once you rank them up to 10, they'll instantly be re-awakened.
The thing I really like to your videos are focus on those players has a low spenders and low resonance and most of the players are low spenders and f2p. Keep it up Echo.

Awakening each slot was going to be my next goal after getting my 2k wings but with the extra gem slots getting 3k wings is very obtainable so now I’m indecisive, but you make the awakening more appealing, great video

FYI: if you awaken the wrong piece of gear, you can move the awaken an other piece. You have to delete the piece of gear when you get a better piece and at that point the game give you back the awaken and everything used in that gear.
As a low/med spender don’t ever put 2 rank 10 gems to awake it fully it’s a waste of resources just for that slightly bonus. 2 rank 5 gems is more then enough. 2 fully rank 10 gems 1 stars will cost more then 200 blues which you can simply rank 2 star gem from rank 5 to rank 8 which is massive in comparison to 10 res and 2% skill dmg bonus..
Fair point. The extra 2% skill damage isn’t worth it in your opinion.
I rank 10 the resonance gems while saving gem power for the next 2-star gem I want to rank to 10. It's cool being able to use the gem power while I'm slowly collecting what I need next. Then I use them to upgrade and rank a new version to 5.
It's not a waste, you can always use them as gem power for something else. You don't lose anything by ranking them up besides maybe some platinum for gem copies?
Now that he has 2 awakened pieces the bonus for hitting the 10 and 20 gem resonance marks are good to have for not much investment. The Skill Damage is one the best ways to improve damage over almost anything else.
Then there's the fact that an extra 40 resonance (assuming filling both 1*s up) can be just the boost one may need to hit a CR threshold and easily +100 base damage.

@@glowyrm If you can always use them why wouldn't you use them to rank ur 2 star gems instead? getting 2 star copies is easy enough to get. So if you have the gem power you basically can always focus on 2 star gem and rank them up. ranking 1 star gem to rank 10 just for basically a non existence boost is not worth at all.
@@callmeshen9754 Well then use them if you have a good use for the gem power of course. That was part of what I said already.
I'm just saying it's not a waste to work on those in-between having to work on another big gem rank up.
I almost always have 2 rank 5s in my awakened slot, but I definitely feed them when it's time to rank something up.
I think we're on the same page really just saying it different.

This is very relatable echo. As I too am a low spender. Now I have awakened my berserker's eye and planning to get my everlasting torment to 10 and awakening it next too. My other gems were Mother's lament, pain clasp, power and command, bottled hope, starfire shard and gloom cask. If I get seeping bile and blood soak jade, I'll exchange them to my power and command and gloom

Love the enthusiasm. I have a one star awakened and almost a 2 star. Definitely the way to go. Totally agree. It feels good to make progress. 5 stars are just horrible. Why they made them so unobtainable is a mystery to me. It put a lot of people off the game forever.
you can salvage the awakened gear and the dawning echo will be refunded...i saw it on other player😊

Hi boss, can I ask how to get the other 2 secondary items unlocked? Currently I only have 6 secondary items and Im at Paragon Lvl 1175, im seeing other players under 1k paragon lvl with 8 secondary items. Hope you could help me out thanks.

Worth the hype to switch 5* gems to awake items?
I got an idea. I’m in a situation where I have awakened 3 slots and feel the need to now move to all 5* gems in the near future. However I don’t want to lose what I paid for. If they make awakening at lvl5 and maybe only give 1/2 the bonus and without extra slots I’m sure Bliz would sell tons more dawning echos. Gives flexibility to non whales to awaken and still go with 5*s and gets Bliz that $$$. You listening Bliz!
I tried to awaken my shield and it says the equipment can't be awakened even though I have the rank 10 gem on iy

Also on the dawning echo consumable required to awaken slots, there are cheaper ways to get orbs. You get the best value out of the Boon of Plenty or Prodigy's Path, but that's because of all the other stuff you get with them too. If you're looking purely at orbs for the sake of awakening, the orb packages under currency tab of the shop is your cheapest deal. For example, the $50 pack gets you 7200 orbs. Could buy 7 dawning echos with this meaning each one is only a $7.14 value, opposed to the $20 you're saying here.

Your guest awhile back said that if you have enough dawning echos, you can take one 10 star and awaken each piece of gear. Then remove the R10 gem and the gear stays awakened. Is this still possible?
He did say something along those lines. Back then I was a lot less in tune with the process. But since then nothing has changed so I will assume the process still will work
Yes, but there's no point in awakening gear without a rank 10 gem to socket as you only get the benefit when a rank 10 is in an awakened piece of gear.

If anyone wants to change an awakened piece they can salvage it to return the dawning echo. Best to transfer gear rank off first unless wanting to reroll magic bonuses.
What happened to awaken slot if you remove the rank 10 gem? Still awaken?
It's disabled until you put another rank 10 gem
so its like u can just enjoy 1 gear awakened if u have only 1 10 rank gem
Essentially what you’re doing is just making a PVE build. I’m sitting at 3750 and players that stick to 1/2 star gems get wiped in seconds, because they don’t have the Rez multiplier for all of their stats. Also you have to remember , Rez effects your Combat Rating. Totally cool if you’re just playing PVE. But for everyone else if you get all of your gems to at least rank 5 on the five star Lego gems, you can compete with the whales. Especially if you follow the meta builds

Just another p2w thing... new "non p2w pvp mode" and the "hord" is such BS, cuz in this game the biggest spender will always be the winner, no matter what developers tell u.
So, in other words, another p2w thing? ... Cant understand why people get the hype for the non p2w pvp, or the hord BS... it will always come to the biggest spender is the biggest winner...
