    Wow! I grew up in and live in Atlanta and know the children and grandchildren of some of these folks. I so wish they had more location markers and, of course, sound.Thanks for sharing!

    This take me back when I would go to the Royal theater on Auburn Ave. I would spend all day watching a movie. Growing up in fourth ward was some fun and sad times. And let's not forget "Butter milk bottom" It was a hell hole the only oasis in there was C.W. Hill elementary My seventh grade Teacher Ms. M. L. Long was a teacher's teacher. I love her to this day, if anyone could teach a hard head like me to improve on my grades, she was the one to get me motivated, through her skills I made it. Mr. Maddox was the principle at the time, and his wife was my art teacher at David T. Howard. As I look back as the saying goes "It was the worst of times and the best of times. If anyone reads this who is from Old Fourth ward get in contact with me and go over old times.

    auburn ATL, Harlem,Watts,Bronzeville,Paradise valley... these places need to be remembered with honor, they are our heritage

    Love this footage wish I had a time machine to go back to see what life was like then seems like we were a lil more prideful as a people back then despite the racial discrimination
