- This Super Tool 200 of the year 2003, appeared in 2001 and stopped in 2005, is in excellent condition, it did not have to serve much! :)
Another model was equipped with this second locking system, namely the Pulse (2000 to 2004).
The Super Tool (1994 to 2001), the first of the series, had an original system of unlocking by half deployment of another tool.
The locking system adopted until today appeared in 2004 on the New Wave.
I signal once again to Leatherman that its "Retired Products" category is incomplete: it lacks Fuse, Kick, Charge TTI, Juice CS2, B2, SC2 and Pro, New Wave, Skeletool SX ...

There was a supertool, with a locking mechanism, prior to the 200... that would be the 1st for the supertool range...
That's what I write in the description of the video, it's about the Leatherman Pulse ... but finally Pulse and ST200 are of the same generation to a few months.

@@stephanbotha2974 I'm talking about Leatherman. The ST1 Shrade, introduced in 1994, had a tool locking device, a device later taken over by Bear & Son.

Yes, it is on sale in France but 200 € ... For a Wingman + Sideckik V2, it's expensive for the prettiness and mechanical tricks of the P4 ... The price should drop but will I have the patience to wait ? :)
